About this house rental
Coromandel on the Murray is a beautiful over 100 years old Red brick house with all the features of the time. It has all the mod cons you would expect, including reverse cycle air conditioning, but still has the old world charm , and also has a lovely rotunda with power and BBQ. A secure yard with an excellent garden and off street parking.
The RSL Club is only a short walk away where there is plenty of entertainment is available. The wineries of the region are a few minutes away and the Corowa Chocolate and Whiskey factory[enjoy a meal or snack] is only a few blocks away as is the main street of Corowa.
Enjoy a game of golf at the Corowa Golf Club's 27 hole course.
Bowls is available also.
Go fishing or boating on the Murray.

The gardens were really nice and relaxing area the place was nice and clean comfy bed but the lounge was a bit of a let down as i have had back surgery so not ideal if you have a bad back but that was the only negative my little staffy loved the backyard

Beautiful federation house with lovely, well tended garden. The propertys fence is dog proof all around - although if your dog is a fence jumper the front fence is waist height, but secure.

Large and well developed backyard, excellent for spending time as a family.
Secure yard for pets.
Large older home, clean and close to the RSL. 10 min walk to the Main Street.
Friendly owner who came to say hello on our first day stay.
Only negative would be the shower water pressure however on an older home might be expected.

The house and garden were perfect for our stay in the Rutherglan region. Our 2 x dogs were safe in the well fenced large garden and the house was spacious and we loved its old heritage feel. It was welllcoated and easy access to the regions wineries and other highlights

We enjoyed our stay - the home was amazing and took us back many years.
Our dogs loved the big backyard to run around in.
Great location and close to the main town and the whiskey and chocolate factory too.
Thank you Kevin for your hospitality.

Excellent location and a wonderful experience of staying in a federation era house. So many have been renovated and you miss the true experience. Not so here, even the carpet is Axminster even though it has been updated. And the painted detail of the cornice in the lounge is amazing. We really enjoyed it.

Beautiful relaxing private garden and gazebo, comfy, homely feel, all amenities provided were greatly appreciated...even a potato masher :) Being able to bring my pooch along was a priority due to his medical conditions, so great to find a place that he was welcome and comfortable too (ps a doggie door would make it perfect though) Thank you for a lovely memorable stay!

We only stayed a few days but we wished it was longer! The garden is delightful, stunning flowers, & lovely lawn for the dogs & for walking & lying on. The house is unusual, almost a living museum, but we were glad for the high ceilings and air con that kept us cool in the hot Corowa summer.

Step back in time
This charming old world property was perfect for our four day stay. We checked in on a chilly autumn day to find Kevin , our host , had already turned on the heating. A nice touch. The home was spotless and very well stocked. The bed was sooo comfortable and snug , the lounge cosy and warm & centrepiece of the kitchen was an original Kelvinator refrigerator. A real trip down memory lane , as were other lots of other curios throughout the home. The backyard was a lovely sun catch and just perfect for our young dog. Would love to stay again.....

Our stay in Corowa
We really enjoyed our stay . The house is as described but requires some maintenance. Lovely comfortable bed .The gardens are a delight - Kevin kindly let us have our dogs inside with us - this was very much appreciated . We would have loved some milk to be in the fridge when we arrived . That is our only negative. We would stay again.

Great location, spacious old home
Located 5 minutes walk from main st, this old home had lots of space and comfortable beds. It was very well equipped but remember this house is 100 years okd, so it’s dark inside and dated, with many original features. The garden is lovely and the rotunda with ceiling fan a real treat for evening drinks and bbq.

Going back to Nannas house
We spent a lot of time in the well equipped gazebo and the gorgeous garden as we visited over summer….Our morning cuppas were drunk under the shade tree by the clothesline. The kitchen is well equipped for family catering and having an outside toilet was certainly a plus… the loungeroom and bedrooms are a step back in time with the beds been extra comfy…. A very special old home

Beautiful blast from the past
We can’t find the words to describe wonderful Coromel and it’s lovely host. A magnificent property and beautiful garden done out with truly astounding decor and original features. Very close to all Corowa has to offer but secluded and with a lovely treed garden full of roses. You’ll love it. We did. Thanks to Kevin’s kind and generous hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!
