Location is very close to the longest beach on the island (though prepare yourself for the very steep steps!). Caravans and cabins are nestled in a lovely little patch of jungle. Very comfy beds in the caravan!
No negatives, we were very happy with our stay. Probably gets a bit hot/cold in the caravans in the dead of summer/winter, but in March it was perfect.

Great facilities, nicely set out caravans, very clean
Not knowing how to check in during the 2-3pm check in time- Some kind of sign put out for the hour would be helpful.

The property is all about coming together and hanging out, eating some good food, and having a laugh. The smaller rooms gently invite you toward the larger common areas where we were greeted with board games, pool, a piano, and guitar (we can’t play musical instruments but they were fun anyway). There is also an incredible outdoor area with a BBQ and seating where it is quiet and tranquil enough to meditate or practice your yoga.
This is more a personal dislike, but I enjoy having my own shower and bathroom etc, so the hostel type vibe with shared facilities was new to me. I must say, WaiKnot was a great introduction to this type of living.

Excellent glamping site adjacent to two vineyards. Enjoyed the caravan accommodation.

Surrounded by fabulous NZ fauna, our living areas were private with views of the near by vineyards.
The host, Sally-Anne, is very caring and personable

Sally Anne was lovely. The location was amazing
The room is in front of the bathroom so it gets noisy at night and early in the morning

All good
A little out of the way .But ok

lovely staff, cute houses and caravans, quiet.
Far from everything if you want to get food, walls were thin and you could pretty much hear everything the people in the next room were doing.

The serenity

We loved the peaceful setting, surrounded with trees and neighbouring vineyards. The buildings were so tastefully set out and decorated, and contained everything we needed for our stay. Even on a very cold night, we were toasty warm all night. Everything was beautifully clean and the water tasted delicious! Our host was super friendly and helpful too.

Bed was very comfortable. Place was very quiet, which is nice especially when you've been out all day exploring. They have 3 cute caravans which is awesome. Plan to stay there again

Liked everything.

I liked how quiet the facilities were and anything you required was already provided. We arrived late outside checkin but everything was ready for us to just get straight in. Will 100% stay here again and will recommend to friends and family also

Beautiful little spot. The comfiest bed I have ever slept on at any accommodation. Very clean as well. A nice shared kitchen and lounge area.
The Moe Moe rooms are in the same block as the toilets/shower so I had horrible sleep as all the other guests were coming in for their morning poops and showers. They were slamming the doors, chatting, in and out from very early on. For that reason I wouldn’t stay there again, not good value for the money for those rooms.
