Adequate
The location is good, besides the fact that there is no parking. The apartment was adequate for us, a family of four. There were the basics you should find in any small apartment. There were towels and it was clean.
When you first check in you are required to check in on another system and fill in a lot of details for you and your family members. This was very frustrating to do when on holiday with little time to spare. It also saves the company who runs this property from actually having to interact with you physically and write down your details themselves. Apparently it's required by law but in the places we have stayed in Hungary the owner does this and not the paying customer. The apartment is located on the 4th floor of an old building with a very slow, small and old lift. This is fine if you don't mind waiting a very long time each time you want to go up to the apartment. The shower has no curtain and the shower head was malfunctioning, you could take a shower but it's very inconvenient. Generally the apartment has the feel of a company running it rather than an individual and it shows.

The place was as advertised and we recommend it.
Everything was as advertised: - nice and clean apartment with all the amenities. We found everything we needed. - good and comfy beds. - easy to access and close to city center - many restaurants and different cuisines in the area(spanish, italian, fast food, lebanese, vietnamese, japanese, chinese, thai, fine dining, pubs and a few more). Just check their websites since some may need reservation or have odd hours of being open(one closes at 18:00, one opens only after 21:00 etc.) - good exchange rate place close(on the main street) - Wifi speed was 500mbs(some rentals have cheap plans with less speed) - quiet building and nice neighbours(the 2 people we encountered)
This is only for those with a car: -the closest parking lot(for overnight stay) is at 5 minutes of walking and on a stormy day it might be inconvenint, but it's not that far. To be more detailed: - parking in budapest is mostly paid, but it's different depending on the zone(and the information about this was incomplete or contradicting on the official websites). - the apps we installed(for park payment) weren't that great and had problems with one of the following depending on the app: UI, crashes, didn't accept the card - the parking meters (we encountered in the area) work only with forint coins or some type of card(not credit card) and can be used only for parking for 3 hours top so you need to find a private parking lot(for the night). We didn't have exchanged the money yet and found the exchange after that( as an advice for those visiting: install the app/apps for parking beforehand and check if everything works or have some coins exchanged before you get there so that you can unload luggages) - the parking lots on that streets were full when we arrived (around 15-16:00 local time) so the 5 minute walk on bad weather with too many luggages can be inconvenient. We didn't have too many because of our short stay so we were lucky. - we looked for a parking lot before we arrived and just parked there(at a nearby hotel) I wrote all the details so that new customers know how to prepare for this because if all the mentioned conditions align(bad weather, too much luggage, the parking spots on that street full, no coins/apps etc.) it will be inconvenient if you are not prepared. This isn't the host's fault, but the city and if multiple factors align. This shouldn't stop you to rent this place since it's great, with a good location close to city center, restaurants and places to visit. Just take into consideration if you have a car those mentioned above.

A great city break in a beautiful city.
A lovely apartment in a traditional building. Very close to many excellent restaurants and within walking distance of tourist attractions. I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Budapest.

very nice and great location, clean. Would recommend.
great location, apartment was as pictured. staff were very responsive and happy to help
could do with a shower curtain around the shower/bath. could also do with a larger duvet as a single isn’t useful if you’re a couple.

Nice apartment, perfect location
The apartment is in a great spot. It’s right next to a small park in downtown Budapest, in an area that we love. The windows face the inner courtyard so the apartment is super quiet. It was clean and comfortable, we felt at home right from the start. Overall great stay.
We would’ve felt safer if there was a deadbolt on the door or a safe to store our valuables. I know it’s a good neighborhood but better be safe than sorry in my opinion. The internet connection was relatively fast but it often became unstable when doing video calls with multiple people. Just something to keep in mind if you’re going to work from the apartment like we did.
