Room was well appointed, clean, and bed comfortable. Excellent shower and toiletries. All service personnel were pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend the Stow.
As pointed out in the booking, there is no elevator and the stairs are narrow and steep. Especially the stairs from second to third floor. You may want to bring and oxygen tank for that climb but room was worth it.

Gorgeous surroundings, and gardens, lovely friendly and helpful staff, stylish and beautiful room. Good parking and location to the town/village
Room didn’t have standard convenience such as plug sockets next to or near to the beds to charge devices. This is expected these days.
Food was expensive and no better than standard pub grub. Expected a bit more for the price.

we was pleased with the friendly staff, we enjoyed our food in the daytime and evening.. sitting in the garden either the weather was'nt as warm as day before... enjoyed last year when we are on holiday we found here we come 2 day's in the row for light snacks and drinks.
we never stay in hotels normally, we stay in self catering.. but after last year visiting here we thought this time to stay here.. as we were only doing short break... but didn't realise the room was next to main road and bathroom was facing too and you see the traffic going pass and all day and evening we could hear it.. but a personal view we wouldn't stay hotels it's not our thing..that's just us..not anyone else fault..

Brilliant and attentive staff; superb location with plenty of parking; clean and well equipped rooms.
Very minor gripes only: It would be nice to have tablecloths once more in the restaurant and cushions and/or extra pillows in the rooms.

Wonderful location, excellent breakfast. The staff was super friendly and considerate. The place itself is one of a kind. Cozy atmosphere, very peaceful and welcoming. Lovely open fire with cozy leather sofas in the drawing room, ideal to curl up with a book or just relax. Elegant and peaceful atmosphere. Thank you very much for the lovely stay.

For us personally it was so quaint and atmospheric. We visited early December 2022 and whilst the weather was cool and misty this really added to the christmas spirit. Food the restaurant was beautiful and the staff where so kind and friendly. Stow on the wold's is a beautiful place to stay. Loved our visit so much we are thinking of going back in 2023.
Everything was lovely. No dislikes

Absolutely loved our overnight stay at Stow Lodge Hotel. We stayed on a B&B basis. Breakfast delicious and all the staff were excellent. Such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and a perfect break before Christmas. Will definitely be returning 😌

Lovely stay just before Christmas with my partner. Come out the main doors and you are smack bang in the middle of Stow. Some say the hotel needs a refurb or is dated but it's a period type hotel, think brown wood panelling, exposed stone walls and big leather armchairs, it doesn't need modernising, that's what it's supposed to look like! It's all in good condition, clean and well maintained. Think Edwardian English country house. Great little lounge area with big log fire.
Decent breakfast, lovely staff, great location. Just as an aside it seemed to have an older clientele, most guests seemed to be in their 60s and 70s+ didn't bother us as we only used the hotel mainly as a base but may be an issue if you're expecting a busy bar area and lots of hustle and bustle etc.

Absolutely everything from start to finish, it could of not been better, such excellent staff, good food and lovely and clean, 10 out of 10.
