Have you ever stayed in a Grain Silo? This silo house is a one of a kind unique getaway just 30 miles south of DFW. On 10 gorgeous acres of fields and forest. With a gated entry and all the privacy and peacefulness for a great stay. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises with a cup of coffee on the bedroom balcony. Start a fire and take in some of the most beautiful sunsets. Then lay back on the Lounge chair and wonder at a 360 veiw of the stars. No city lights. You may be in the country but with this silo you will have plenty of luxury. Melt away the city in our two person Steam sauna shower equipped with Radio and color changing lights. You set the mood. 60' UHD Samsung TV with Theatre sound and BlueRay player and Firestick. LP player with LPs in the bedroom, great little place to dance. Have a picnic by the seasonal pond in the back (no fish or swimming ). Take a stroll in the BigFoot Forest or lay back take a snooze or watch the wild life. Follow us on Facebook @ The Silo House. My wife and our two dogs really enjoyed our long weekend at this most charming silo house. The hosts were amazing and made the whole process seamless. If you find your self in the Waxahachie area we recommend you consider this home.

The Silo House is unique but it’s also comfortable. The furniture is functional and there are great indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy. Owners were on property while I was there but super respectful of privacy. I enjoyed my time and hope to visit again!

This property was very uniquely designed and decorated! We totally enjoyed the stay! The Silo House was very clean, comfortable bed and a really cool shower. The grounds were very nice, private and quiet. If you are looking for something different, this may be the place!

This home is charming, decorated in a really fun way. Very clean. Bed is comfortable, sheets and towels are high quality. The correspondence is directly with the owners and they are very quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this property for anyone staying in the area!

The silo was a fantastic experience and a great location. It had everything you needed for a fantastic weekend getaway. The property does need a little TLC but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Bed was to soft lol. Beethoven was a wonderful surprise and enjoyed and welcomed his evening visit (St. Bernard). He put the icing on the cake.

I can't say enough good things about this property.
The silo was clean, well decorated and had every amenity you could ever need, including wi-fi.
The owners of the property were exceptionally nice and were very responsive to any questions that I had.
The property is gated, which made me feel extra safe while staying there as well.
I would recommend this cabin to anyone and I hope I get to visit again.

Very nice little home on a nice quiet property. We stayed close to home for a little getaway and this place was perfect. Check in and out was easy and straight forward and we would recommend.

My wife and I searched for a unique property in order to celebrate our anniversary and this fit the bill! This one of a kind home is tons of fun but doesn't rely only on its personality. It is well thought out and appointed, impeccably clean and included everything needed for a stay of any length. Downtown Waxahachie and numerous restaurants are only a short drive away.
Beethoven did his part as well to ensure we were well looked after. We'll be back!

It was the perfect distance from town. Close enough to get anything you needed wether it dinner or groceries but far enough to enjoy quiet. Felt like home from the moment we entered

They had every thing you could need to just kick your shoes off and forget your worries. We had a blast listening to the goats. Would love to come back and visit again!

Serenity at the Silo House
We were impressed from the moment we drove on the property. Definitely my dream house on the perfect piece of land. We felt very much at home. Beautiful place with so much attention to detail. We had a wonderful getaway in this fun and relaxing atmosphere. Close to our family in Midlothian for visiting, then our own place for evening respite. Very clean and all the comforts of home. Easy communication with owners and easy access to the private rural property. Definitely hope to return!

Anniversary Trip
My husband and I stayed at the Silo House for an anniversary getaway. It was uniquely beautiful and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The silo is unique and nicely done on the inside. Cleanliness was an issue as there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher that had been there for several weeks. The smell was awful and mold was growing on the dishes. An old coffee K-cup was still in the Keurig and it also had mold. Shelves in the refrigerator had not been wiped down...some had dirt and dog hair.
The most frustrating thing was we had no hot water in the steam shower. The owner's response to this..."turn the steam up to 100 degrees." Steam does not rinse the body. I had to heat water in a big pot and carry it upstairs so that we had water to rinse the soap off. We were very disappointed with the owner's total lack of concern regarding the absence of a necessity (hot water) that you expect when you stay somewhere.
