Overall fine, clean. Probably not a deal break for anyone but FYI. The renovation work at this property was done at a DIY level. Expect obvious poor finish work. Also althought clean.. the property currently has an ant problem (management well aware as there are ant traps everywhere) .. other than that its a great, clean budget friendly place.

Cape May is delightful in the off-season, with plenty of shopping, hiking, and dining opportunities available. This was our second time staying at Ron & Kim’s vacation rental and we found it just as enjoyable as the first, with clean, comfortable rooms and updated kitchen and bathrooms. Check-in was easy and our stay was relaxing. The road crews were readying the town for summer visitors, so it was a bit of a challenge to get around town at times, but nothing can dull the sparkle of our favorite little Jersey Shore town. Thanks, Ron and Kim, for sharing your home with us once again.

The home was beautiful and the neighborhood was SO QUIET and peaceful. We were so close to the beach and walked the quiet streets every night. The house was very clean and the owner was very nice and friendly to deal with. All the instructions were laid out and very easy to understand. I stayed here with several of my friends for a quick weekend getaway. The check in process was very easy. The drip coffee maker was great to have. The house is beautifully renovated, and the owners are very responsive. Extra blankets were found in the closet and the ceiling fans were a great touch. I would recommend bringing a portable mirror since they are only in the bathrooms. It was difficult for 3 ladies to do our makeup when the guys were hogging the bathrooms. Overall it was a great stay!

Outstanding stay!

Ron and Kim are outstanding hosts. They live close by and take excellent care of their properties. The home was very clean when we arrived. Since last year, they replaced the outside grill with a new Weber which worked great. They are very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to staying in one of their homes again in the future. We quite liked the layout of this twin and I highly recommend both the property and working with the Tuppers.

The house was very nicely decorated. The beds and furniture were comfortable. It had just enough space for 4 friends to stay for the weekend. The location was described accurately - in a quiet neighborhood and a decent walk to the beach or town. It is attached to another home, but the neighbors were quiet. We also had to drive / Uber to most places. The only accommodation we didn’t have and would have liked was for towels and sheets to be provided, but since we all drove it was not a big deal to pack them. Overall great experience!

We loved the house and location. Neighbors were awesome! Fell in love with Donnafaye. Such a sweet lady. The only thing that was a negative and this is solely on the cleaners , there were some drawers filled with underwear and bras and candy wrappers from previous tenants and a small ant problem in the kitchen.

The property was not cleaned which created a very poor impression. There was hair in sinks, dirty toilet seats, sneaker and beer can abandoned under bed, drawer full of dirty clothes. The property is not an independent home but one side of a ranch with a shared yard. Neighborhood is quiet. The unit is tiny and ideal for family of 3-4. kitchen is well equipped. The issue with ants persists though the owner is trying to remedy that.

The house was clean enough. The only complaints I have are that there were ants everywhere. The kitchen job doesn’t look completely finished. Ants were coming from the kitchen window and from the windows in living room and the front bedroom and master bathroom. Also, the patio table is very old and you couldn’t sit in the chairs because they are all pretty much broken with missing straps and no cushions. There is also no umbrella. For the amount paid, it would have been nice to have an outside table to sit at and enjoy a dinner.

Can’t say enough about our experience at 1150 Pennsylvania Ave Cape May. The house was clean, both bathroom and kitchen updated and equipped with newer glassware, dishes, pots and pans, etc. Bedrooms were good and beautifully decorated, actually the entire house was. The location was great, close to everything and at the same time very quiet and quaint. Great experience!!

Upon entering we felt a freshness in the décor along with all the comforts of home. The beds are comfortable and the place easily accommodates more than the 4 visitors we had with 5 bunkbeds added to the queen and king bedrooms.It was a quick bike ride to town and the beach. We look forward to returning.

The house was lovely; however, we were not informed we would need to bring paper products as well as sheets and towels. Also, we were asked to run the dishwasher but there was no dishwasher detergent. It would have been nice to know where the cushions were for the patio furniture - we had to call the owner to find out. Other than those small details, the place was well furnished and comfortable.

This is a very nice property with updated kitchen and baths. Beautiful outdoor spaces, including a covered porch for when it rained. It is a fairly substantial walk to the beach, but then our group loves to walk, so it was no problem at all. The neighborhood was quiet for us. Would love to see the addition of mirrors in the bedrooms. This would help alleviate some bathroom congestion. It might also be a good idea to mention that this property is one half of a duplex.

What an awesome place to stay for our Family getaway... Wish we could've stayed longer.... The house was just as described - very well kept, roomy, and we immediately felt right at home !! We played games at the large kitchen table, the bathrooms were immaculate, would LOVE to stay again in the future - and for a longer period of time !!! Owners are very nice and easy to speak with, and very quick to respond. We couldn't of asked for a better place to stay - the location of the house was another plus...... Thank-You We will definitely book again :-)

My family needed a place to stay for a special birthday party in Cape May and stayed for a long weekend. We have stayed at other VRBO houses and this one ranked highly- wished we had more time there! We were impressed by the updates in the house including subway tile backsplashes, shiplapped walls, and a whitewashed fireplace- straight out of HGTV (although some of the details need to be finished off- missing door and moldings.) Bedrooms are big and there is plenty of closet space. We did some food prep, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owners responded quickly to our questions and returned our security deposit immediately after our stay. Since we were only there the weekend, we chose to clean ourselves and there were plenty of cleaning supplies (although the vacuum might need replacing soon.) All in all, a great space for a family to stay and reasonably priced for the destination.

We stayed here on our family vacation in August 2016. The house is clean and extremely well maintained. The kitchen has top of the line appliances and is spacious. The bedrooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms and tub/showers are great as well. The owners are great people and very friendly. We had forgotten a few things when we left and the owners were nice enough to hold the items at their home until we returned to pick them up. If you are considering a trip to Cape May and want a great house to stay in, this house is absolutely wonderful. The house itself is in a nice quiet neighborhood and only a few blocks away from the beach. I can't say enough good things about the property and property owners!
