About this house rental
Four lots from a quiet beach on the Atlantic Ocean, on a private road bordered by Washington Oaks State Park, is where you can relax and enjoy an entire home away from home. Our 3-bedroom, 2-bath (plus outdoor shower) beach house is yours to enjoy!
There are four airports within commutable distance. Ranking in order of proximity: Daytona Beach Airport is 40 minutes away, followed by Jacksonville (1:20), Orlando Sanford International and Orlando International (1:40).
The home is on the northern edge of Palm Coast in an area known as the Hammock. The area is very quiet, as we are at the end of a private gravel road, perhaps 100 yards from the ocean. Being bordered by a state park across the road, preserves the peace. The lots to the east and south of the house are undeveloped, so you will enjoy a lot of privacy.
As one travels north, about ten minutes away is the Marineland and an option to swim with dolphins. An additional twenty minutes will bring one to St. Augustine, the oldest town in the US. For history enthusiasts, St. Augustine gives you plenty to explore as you learn about the struggles between the French, Spanish, and English to settle this new land.
Traveling south, along A1A, one crosses through Flagler Beach, Ormond Beach, Daytona, and New Smyrna, among others. An hour southwest of our home is Blue Springs State Park which offers prime viewing of manatees during the winter.
I am just getting to know the area, but have enjoyed fine dining, great BBQ, amazing fish tacos, and live music at several of the restaurants.
When I told people I was going to remodel the home, I was advised that renters will destroy it and I shouldn't waste my money. I don't think that's true. I don't want to take a vacation sleeping on scratchy sheets and sitting on old sofas. When you work hard, you deserve to enjoy your vacation, surrounded by pleasant things. I want a home that I am proud to show my friends, and that is ready to host neighbors for dinner.
It's time to unwind, ride a bike, take a walk, or splash in the ocean.
We invite you to be our guest.

The house was exactly as stated! The location is perfect and very close to the beach. Great for a large size family. The host was very easy to contact and also very responsive. The house was fully equipped making the stay very easy. It would be very easy to rent again from this host and stay at this location. We created some core memories! xoxo love it!

This was an excellent experience. Many rentals have a dismal hodgepodge of kitchen items (utensils, cookware & dishes etc) and really lack the essentials that you need while living away from home for a week or longer. This location had excellent quality, cookware, spices, I even found a pair of scissors when I needed them! It was really stocked with all the things you would need to live there for a week or longer.
It’s also evident that the house is well cared for and maintained. A lot of thought effort went into making this is great rental. Thank you !

We love coming to this area. Erin was great to work with in getting our stay booked. She went above and beyond to make everything just right. The house was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for us as we are avid fishermen. Plenty of room to park the truck and boat. Outside shower was awesome. Can't wait to come back.

Can’t fault it, house is lovely, well equipped and really close to the best beach in the world
If you get bored of the beach or more likely you just get a bit overheated, you can retreat to the air conditioned house for a break or go enjoy all the other exciting things Florida has to offer
If you are not sure, Go for it, it’s great!

We stayed in the house for one night before our cruise. It was a perfect location and the house was so cute and fully stocked with everything you may need. The owner was very responsive to all messages and the check in process was very easy! The beach is a short walk down the driveway which was nice! Thanks for the stay!

Erin and the Oceanside property in the Hammock is absolutely incredible! She was such an awesome host and communication was superior. Brought a group of college friends for our senior spring break, and we had the best week! Would totally stay here so many more times! Perfectly nestled between St. Augustine and Daytona and quiet.

What an amazing house. Seconds to the beach, private drive, no road sounds, Publix 2 miles down the road, fabulous restaurants... It was amazing. House is so well layed out. Kitchen was easy to use with even 5 adults at one time, bar was great with electrical plug at one end for a laptop, wifi was spot on, beach sand was amazing. A short walk north on the beach we discovered amazing cokina rocks that splashed on the high surf and was amazing to explore during low tide. We walked out there 3 times the last day. Private, fabulous, can't wait to return.

We stayed in the same neighborhood previously and knew we wanted to be there again, but closer to the beach, we found this home and couldn't wait to visit. This house is the easiest walk to the beach, so close and access is just great.
Anytime we rent a vacation home we always worry if we will actually get what we think we are getting - let me just tell you - with this home you are getting so much more than expected. Erin is fantastic to communicate with. The house was so well stocked from the kitchen to beach items to kids toys and books - we just couldn't have asked for more!
We visited with our children who range in age from 13 to 3, and my parents who are in their 70s. The home was comfortable for everyone and roomy enough too! The porches were lovely and we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the ocean breeze.
The beds were comfortable, the layout of the house is great - we put kids downstairs and adults upstairs and it just worked out so well.
The kitchen had anything we needed. We bought groceries for the week at the very nearby Publix and just enjoyed our time so much.
Erin was a wealth of information before arrival. She gave us information about the neighborhood and area restaurants. In one message, she told me that all I needed to pack was my bikini - and that was 100% true!
We will be back - and this home will be our go-to from now on!

The home was awesome. Everything we could have needed was at our fingertips. The hostess, Erin, was very accommodating and gave us all the information we needed to know about the home and the area. My daughter and I had a wonderful few days of relaxation and time in the sun. Hope to stay at this home again in the near future.

A very well kept and well appointed beach house. All nicely decorated and in great condition. Bedding and towels were comfortable and clean. Kitchenware and cookware were nice and in good condition. Overall one of the nicer rental homes we have seen, over 15+ years of going to the beach in NC, SC, and FL. The beach was practically deserted, and is just a stones throw from the house. A great spot.

We had a great relaxing time. Beds and sheets are super comfy. House is big. Steps from the beach . We took long walks in the morning and as the sun was setting. Neighborhood is super friendly and safe. We hope to be back ! Thank you Erin for your hospitality and kindness ! All the Best !

The house was super clean and literally a 3 minute walk to the ocean. We loved the comfortable beds and plenty of supplies for cooking, including spices. The street is gravel and across from the house is the back yard of an ocean front home and state park (Washington Oaks). We saw lots of amazing birds -- even in our yard. The house is somewhat outdated, but totally sufficient for hanging out and entertaining friends. We had one couple with their adult daughter visit for a few days. The daughter got the king bed in lower level (there is no bathroom in lower level - so keep that in mind -- it makes it less desirable) . For the price and location the combination is ideal despite some of these shortcomings. Big wrap around porch that gets sun part day and a small back porch in the sun all day. Overall communication with the host was excellent. And she sent us a big container of coffee which we truly appreciated!

A tropical storm made for a few wet and windy days, but we had a great time anyway! All expectations were met and it was a pleasure to interact with Erin. Quiet and calming!
