Pleasant

Perfect location, amazing historical building. Pretty big room.

We faced with problems with our electric keys: they refused to work properly after 9PM so we couldn't get in our room. Despite reception working hours till 10PM we couldn't find anybody to help us with this. Both times we had to wait in front of our door at least for 10 minutes to get in our room.

Great hotel in the center of town

I always stay at this hotel when visiting Straubing. The location could not be better, in the center of town. There is parking on-site. The restaurant is good and staff are helpful and friendly.

A totally unacceptable experience.

The location in the centre of Straubing was good.

Very bad experience. I arrived back at the hotel at 20.50h after going out to eat, I was shocked that the hotel was in darkness and all locked up. I had not been forwarned that the hotel would be shut and was not given a key for the outer door. There was no telephone number and it was an upsetting situation , the thought that I would be locked out all night. Eventually after a lot of banging on the door I managed to rouse someone who let me in!! p

WOW!! Perfect!!

A short walk to “old town” this is a wonderful hotel in which to stay. Absolutely awesome breakfast. Staff were so kind and friendly. Beautiful room. We picked a great place to stay on our cycling tour. Secure place for our bicycles.

Extremely rude staff

The actual room was nice and looked newly renovated. Spacious room. Location was great.

The staff was so rude. Both myself and my mother noted this and we didn't even check in together. I booked this hotel because it had parking and we wanted to walk to the fest from our hotel. We arrived and there were no parking spaces available. I asked the front desk staff (because they advertised free parking available and there was none) and he basically said, if they're full, you'll have to find somewhere else to park. No help or advice given. (We figured out later that many people parked at the hotel were not even staying there. They were there for the fest too. When we got back to the hotel later that evening, most of the cars were gone.) They need to regulate who parks in their lot and have parking available for actual paying guests. The woman who runs the breakfast was extremely rude to both myself and my mother. That's terrible customer service. The breakfast was horrible anyways, so it's definitely not worth paying for. I will never stay here again.

Nice option right off the pedestrian zone in Straubing

Nice spacious room in the city center of Straubing. The hotel has been updated and modernized but maintains it's historical charm. Staff was friendly.

No breakfast due to Covid but bakery across the street was a good alternative. Access is a bit hokey with the front door having limited hours but access through the back parking lot OK.

A wonderful location in the lovely old town. But just don't expect any breakfast in the morning

We were on a cycling holiday beside the Danube. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient

There were NO breakfast facilities ! We had to find a cafe in order to have something to eat in the morning. This was a bit annoying

Perfect location to visit Straubing

Very clean and refurbished rooms, directly in the center of Straubing.A nice Restaurant on side , which came very handy , as we were traveling on the next day and could eat at the same place as we had booked the room. It was a beautiful summers night and sitting outside on the square was wonderful.

You can hear the tower bell which rings every quarter of an hour. Of course this is part of living right in the center, but I just want others to know
