Nice hostel in Pucón. We had a "hobbit" cabin which was fun. An hostel as we like with friendly staff, friendly people staying there and great location in Pucón.
Bathroom and kitchen need some refreshing.

such a fun traveler community. perfect location and loads of recommendations. you’ll likely want to stay longer than you originally planned!

Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Perfect atmosphere and always welcoming. Nice places to make dinner even though it gets crowded because everyone wants to be with each other in the same kitchen. Right in the city centre!
A bit pricey, but well worth it for the atmosphere

- Staff very helpful with excursion recommendations
- Great location on the lake, great view of sunsets
- we stayed in cabin, was clean, heater provides good warmth.
- two kitchens, both well equipped.
- nothing

Staff, including the owner, were AMAZING. Super helpful & friendly.
The bunk beds were children's bunks, so you couldn't sit up in the bed to read or write if in the bottom bunk. But rooms were clean and provided a locker.

Great atmosphere. Lovely owners

The best hostel I stayed in South America!
Great people and fantastic memories.
- amazing sunset views, they also let you bring your own beers in which helps contribute to the fun atmosphere
- staff helped book all my activities and explained all the things we could do
- bedroom was so cool, my dorm was a Harry Potter theme in the attic
- kitchen had lots of people cooking and was really sociable at night
4.5
The best it was the environment and the kitchen outside.
The bed… too much noisy.

Great location near shops and restaurants, very convenient.
When I arrived I was told the tour I’ve been waiting to hike for months was not available on Monday.
I was asking for updates on this tour for weeks, however no one mentioned that there is a meeting at the tour company a day before the hike otherwise I would’ve flew in earlier. What if I was only in Pucon for 3 nights? I would’ve missed the opportunity to hike Volcan Villarica, this hike depends on good weather and there were only two sunny days during my stay.
I think the staff need to work on communication and being attentive to guest requests.
I also was not given a tour of the hostel, the girl at check-in Kat, was nice however she was not considerate of my check-in and decided to help other guests and send me upstairs with no information.
I had to figure everything out and it seemed like the manager there wasn’t that helpful either when I tried asking for tours and availability for the second volcano hike, I never heard back from them “although they said they’d let me know of availability “
I was a bit disappointed but overall I was able to hike Villarica last minute.
Please work on better communication with guests and greet them at check-in!

amazing and beautiful place with lots if good recommendations it’s definitely a place where they know what they’re doing.
they told me and my one friend i was talking to at 23:00 to go inside , we were smoking outside. we were talking so quietly but they have these insane house rules. if we ain’t bothering nobody don’t come bothering me

Perfect hostel! Very friendly and helpfull people! WiFi, parking place, lockers, hot showers, beautiful commun areas with a bar, kitchen, many activities to book.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, good bbq and kitchen facilities. Lots of activities. Great vib. Tree House accommodation was fantastic with lovely sunsets over the lake. View of volcano right out front door! Large lockers available

This hostel was fantastic. The location is stunning, the vibe was great from staff and other backpackers and they have a real great selection of room types and facilities. The daily briefing and advice on what to do in Pucon is also really useful.
Very minor things! The bunk beds in the dorm were a bit creeky and it would have been useful to have a few more places to hang things up e.g. wet towels!

They organised a big christmas dinner with all the guests, it was amazing and I will never forget it.The hostel is very social but they are also respectful of ppl that need to be up early. Not a problem as it is near the lake so you can go there to carry on drinking / chatting. Best place to stay in Pucon.
was a bit crammed in the kitchen at times, there are 3 but there are a lot of ppl as well. I think a bit more social space could help as well but having less meant ppl were close together so that kinda forced ppl to meet which is nice

One of the very few hostels in which you feel involved right in, friendly staff/volunteers, they introduce you to loads of activities and can book through them. The hostel has a great style, loved the layout, very unique. Was always clean and the rooms get tidied up almost every day.
Nothing

Location, super staff, comfy beds, plugs to charge phones and good internet
Not enough toilets and shower.
Maybe a little bit noisy and kitchen are not well equipped

The location was perfect and only a few mins walk from the centre of town. When we arrived the staff explained the activities offered and booked us on to the Villarricca trek.
We had a car and were able to park within the hostel grounds most days. There was a small bar in the main building which served draft beer. The showers and toilets were located in different areas of the hostel and clean. Showers were hot. There were two kitchens which had plenty of space. It was a very busy fun hostel and there were long term guests who had been there a while.
To access the car park we had to ask staff to open the gates and we felt uncomfortable asking them as they generally could not be bothered.
The staff and some guests had a BBQ in the garden and our accommodation was in a hut right beside the BBQ area. The music was VERY loud all day long, we actually left the hostel to get away from the noise. We were leaving to trek early the next morning and had to ask for the music to be turned down that night. Eventually they moved elsewhere in the hostel. I think this was just a one off.

atmosphere, location, the van
kitchen not clean and often crowded
4.5
location close to the lake and cute hostel setup with decentralized kitchens to mingle with other travelers. very social hostel with a bar.
it’s not directly on the lake (what we somehow expected) and the dorm rooms are actually relatively small: but generally great hostel and I enjoyed my time here.

Location was perfect, by lake and close enough to the main street. Great for also meeting and socialise with other travellers.
We stayed in the tree house, quite cosy, and had great views of the lake and sunset.
The place is filthy, especially the shared kitchens and toilets. The hostel attracts a very young crowd that don't clean up after themselves. The kitchen is always full of used pans and dishes. And good luck finding any space in the fridge. We stayed for 6 nights and had these issues daily.
Also, our food kept getting stolen from the kitchen despite labelling it.
The internet is non existent, buy your own mobile data plan if you need internet!

Awesome hostel! Great location, close to the city center and the lake but in a quiet area. Nice and social atmosphere, great common rooms and gardens. In the garden are several cute and comfortable wooden ‘hobbit’ houses and old vans as private rooms. Great view on the lake from the treehouse. 3 kitchens. Friendly and helpful staff. Kayaks for rent. Social activities are organised and there is a bar, but after 11 pm is it necessary to be quiet to ensure a good night of sleep.
Nothing. Breakfast not included but supermarkets are close by.

Lakefront
Run by volunteers so no one knows what is going on

- great social area, bar and lakefront location
- friendly and helpful staff, with lots of information on tours
- large bedroom and good shower
- the bed was a bit uncomfortable and squeaky
- poor soundproofing in the building
- slightly expensive given no breakfast
4.5
Probably one of the most relaxing place I’ve ever stayed. Homemade treehouse to relax, have cup of tea, read, overlooking the lake at sunset. Other hang-out areas in the garden. The second kitchen in the garden is lovely to meet other people
I stayed in a small, barrel-like cabin with electric heating, small seating area outside, very nice.
Very helpful staff re info in local activities.
if you like meeting other backpackers, this is the place.
Well, the kitchen does look like a backpackers place, but good for meeting people
