location, helpful and positive staff, clean, quiet

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, if not the best. The location is great, not even a minute walk away from the city center. Upon arrival they bring you golf carts to take you to the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. The hotel used to be a family mansion that was transformed into a hotel by the family who owns it and is extremely beautiful. We asked the staff for help to find a restaurant for my daughters birthday and they recommended Pallas Thallasa and made us a reservation. The morning of they surprised my daughter with a cake and when we finished our dinner at the restaurant we found out the owner of the hotel, Margarita, had contacted them and bought us dessert to celebrate the birthday. I think this hotel is a nice luxury to splurge on and have made the trip extremely comfortable.
Breakfast needs more options

Awesome from start to finish. The communication from the point of booking was brilliant.
On the day of travel our flight from the UK was delayed. Managed to message the hotel whilst on the runway at Manchester to say we’d be late. Our taxi transfer was there waiting for us when we finally arrived in Chania airport and only €30 for the journey.
Hotel recommended a restaurant (and arranged a table for us) on first night and all staff were fantastic throughout stay - so knowledgable and friendly.
Lovely hotel. Make sure you experience the rooftop terrace bar - amazing views.
Will definitely return here.
All fantastic. Cannot fault.

Great breakfast, but the staff was the best.
AC was not strong on the bottom floor room. Other room was very cool.

Pleasantly surprised it was a lofted bedroom for I’m an early riser and I could escape to meditate and read and not disturb my sister would loves to sleep in
Staff was super efficient with making sure we had everything we needed
Very appreciative you could accommodate my sister with gluten free breakfast options
I suppose the only thing I can say is to explain to the guests how the main power switch in the room functions .The next morning the room was cleaned and the the power was turned off we didn’t know we had to turn that main power switch back on because we were told not to touch it

the hotel is beautiful and the breakfast amazing.

great location
breakfast in the morning was very poor selection of tinned peaches and apples!
No breakfast menu-we have stayed in other hotels in the area where the selection has been outstanding-so for a 5 star property they should review

The location couldn’t be better , at the heart of old town and next to the harbour. You can step in and be transported to the old world charm.
The staff is extremely helpful and the breakfast selection of traditional Cretan food was a delight everyday

We will remember our stay at the Casa Delfino for a very long time. The staff were exceptional, from the very warm welcome when we arrived through to the recommendations for dinner at the various local restaurants and the personalized service in helping us get to Souda Bay War cemetery. The breakfast was substantial with a variety of local dishes. A special thanks to Chrissy and Lefteris who were the ultimate hosts . Your kindness and professionalism were greatly appreciated. We hope that one day we will be back to stay again.
Everything was perfect

The Staff and their recommendations were superb. A place we plan to return to with friends and family.
March is a bit chilly, we'll have to comeback in late April.

pretty much everything went well
Parking, but then it's an ancient town with narrow streets. On the upside collection and return to where your car is parked in a ride on golf trolley is a hoot.
Our stay was out of season, so there wasn't a bar operating in the Hotel, but that was a minor thing

Everything from location to staff to breakfast to rooftop. Margarita and the staff are at the absolute top of their game in terms of proactive service.
Our room 18 was quite close to the stunning courtyard so a bit noisy but not a big issue in the end
