I loved our stay at hotel Kendler. The hotel is tastefully decorated and very clean. Room was big , nicely decorated, gives you a warm feeling. Housekeeping goes the extra mile to arrange towels as swans and bed linen as a heart. I loved it. Pool area is clean and there are snacks and drinks at hand. The roof hot tub is very big, clean and has an incredible view overlooking the mountains. They change the water every day. Food is absolutely amazing, beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. As far as 4 stars Hotels go, hotel Kendler is top of the top for everything but the best asset of this hotel is the staff. Excellent people's skills, polite and friendly, everyone goes the extra mile to help.I would like to say Thank you to all of them for making our stay so pleasant. We would definitely come again.

Best hotel in town! Ski-in/out. At the top of the main street and undisturbed by the afterski- pubs further down the street. Extremely polite staff, excellent food. 10/10
There was an offensive unsavoury click-bait prostitute (also known as an «influencer») that used the rooftop pool for her photoshoot. I pity the man and woman with her that were bossed around. #Ihateinfluencers

The location could not have been better! It's right on the edge of the downtown, so a little bit away from the noisy spots, but only a few steps to the lifts. The hotel must have been recently renovated, and very tastefully, too, with a perfect combination of rustic woods and modern decor. The room was lovely, spacious, and well-cared for each day. The nice little touches like the way the towels and bedding were folded and arranged added to the elegant ambiance. We had a burnt out light-bulb that was immediately replaced while we had dinner. Breakfasts were top notch, with a varied selection of fresh and well-prepared foods, including fresh-squeezed juices and smoothies, with something special on the menu each day, like Weißwurst und Brezen on Sundays. Dinners were just amazing--expensive, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for. It was pure joy to savor every bite and the artistic presentation, too. Our server must have been family, as he was always there, late each night and first thing each morning, with a pleasant smile every time we saw him. I'm sorry I didn't get his name. He was so patient with us as we tried to speak German the whole time, though his English was clearly better than our German. ALL the staff were friendly and professional. This will be our place anytime we return to Saalbach for a holiday.
I love kids (really--I'm a teacher, plus we raised two boys) but when I go on holiday, I want to relax without poorly behaved ones running amok. Unfortunately, our window was the target of snowballs thrown by unsupervised older kids in the hot tub our first evening. Clearly the adults-only after 5PM rule was not enforced, nor was the adults-only rest area. There are enough spaces for both kids and adults to enjoy--too bad the boundaries weren't respected. This would be easy to address.
A small refrigerator in our room would have been nice. There is a cabinet for one already built in. Another easy fix!

Breakfast was excellent but only opened at 7.30am which is late if you would like to be skiing by 8.30am. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent spa and pool area with an outdoor heated rooftop whirlpool which was amazing.
Late breakfast time.

Perfect hotel. Great SPA area. Nice view. Joker card is great advatage in region. Allinclusive option , teasty meals , and good quality drinks. Didn't like , tall male bartender. If he don't like his job- he should quit. Rude and unpleasant . I do expect servis on "TOP" level, and that gentelmen was not even close tho that. However we score the hotel : 9,9

Hi quality a la carte menus and buffet very well stocked.
Staff very friendly and happy to help at all times.
Bedroom size very good - we found difficulty sleeping because of the high ambient temperature of our room. Opening the patio door helped a bit, however the noise of the river flowing close by didn't help matters. The staff were understanding and tried different measures in controlling heat in the room. These measures helped a bit.
