Sehr liebevoll geführtes Haus, in perfekter Lage.

Wir haben zu unserer Überraschung sogar ein Upgrade bekommen. Das Zimmer war in oberer Etage, ( ohne Aufzug) dafür aber auch etwas größer. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll geführt. Das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Un hotel chaleureux, très confortable où l'on se sent comme à la maison, le service en plus.

localisation parfaite au centre ville. Les doubles fenêtres permettent tout de même le calme parfait dans la chambre (n°5). Extérieurs superbes et bien entretenus. Accueil ++. Les salons ont une déco très recherchée et chaleureuse. Musique d'ambiance adaptée au cadre. Petit déjeuner de qualité.

Les tables du petit déjeuner sont un peu petites. Quelques petits plus au petit déjeuner auraient permis de mettre parfait (saumon, œufs cuisinés, boissons chaudes servies ?) On aurait aimé un rideau entre la chambre et la salle de bains (lumière et intimité).

Fabulous hotel in great surroundings

Gorgeous hotel, pool and gardens right in the village centre. Easy access for shops, restaurants, walks and runs. Lovely breakfasts and very friendly staff.

short stay in Hôtel Gounod:)

The stay was very short but nice. We came at late hour, warm welcome, the personal booked a table for the dinner in one of the reccomended restaurant with our request. Sublime interior , like "Alisa in Wonderlan "Everything was good,even we had a chance, due to generousity of the host to swimm in swiming pool after working hours. One detail room was quite small, but the bed very comfortable and clean . Location is very good , central, we had free parking load.

perfect location in a stunning town. super cute room with good light and good size bathroom.

Not a major negative, but a good few stairs. If you have a few bags be prepared for a leg workout , however stairs are good for your health. Apart from that no complaints at all, so deal with it. Lovely staff also 👍🏻

Location with parking was great

The weather! Ha ha. Wish we could have enjoyed the courtyard and pool. The breakfast was ok. Would have preferred fresh yogurt with nuts, fruits, etc.

very poor experience in a hotel with lots of pseudo glamour but lacking basic necessities for a pleasant stay

It was located in the center

Our room was facing a very busy street. In the morning a truck parked on the side of the hotel with his engine turned on, which woke us up at 5am. Bathroom was without doors or curtain so it was uncomfortable because of the lights and sounds if the other person wanted to sleep. Also, there was a smell from the bathroom pipes and toilet so since the ventilation was not working we had to open windows facing very busy street - very unpleasant.

Absolutely perfect stay

This was really a perfect stay. I arrive a bit early and my room was ready. The staff was kind enough to let me try speaking French, but then they replied to me in perfect English. The room was absolutely lovely with its musical theme. Extremely comfortable bed. I liked how the sink, shower, and toilet were all separate. There were even wash cloths for us Americans that use them. The lobby was adorable and decorated for Christmas. I was seated in front of the fire place for my breakfast. The hotel had umbrellas for walking around in the rain, they had a map of the town, and made lunch and dinner recommendations. I didn't reserve a room by the garden, but I walked through it. It was a damp December day, but I can picture how beautiful it would be on a warm sunny day. Also in the garden, was the largest fluffiest cat I have ever seen.

No tea or coffee making facilities- just a small bottle of water- but I guess this is the French way

Excellent location for the village and would definitely use again

Excellent location and really quiet . Amazed at the size of the hotel and had a lovely quiet room at rear of hotel.

Maybe tea/coffee in the room and a little more choice with breakfast cereal .

Very pleasant overnight stay

Great location, a few steps from the centre of the town. Safe parking possibility. Nicely decorated town house. Very friendly and helpfull staff. On walking distance from restaurants and bars. Busy area but it didn't prevent us from sleeping well.

Smell of humidity in the small hall before entering the room.

Enjoyable stay

Beautiful old building and lovely garden area, very quirky and cool decor. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very helpful. Parking was easy in the hotel car park. Very conveniently located to walk the trail to see where Van Gogh was hospitalised.

Nothing really, I wish we had been able to stay longer.

Fancy hotel with all comforts, very nice private pool in the town center

Hotel in the center of Saint Remy, appears small from the outside but has more rooms in the internal part next to the pool. Very "french" experience with eclectic furniture and decorations, very comfortable pool and rich breakfast. Car park in the surroundings can have EV charge

View is quite poor from all rooms

Superb boutique Hotel in the middle of at St Remy-Beautiful gardens and swimming pool-Special breakfast and all staff are really friendly and helpful

The carpark is a little distance from the hotel but this did not spoil the time there

Very nice place to stay in Saint Remy

The atmosphere is very nice. The hotel has a beautiful garden. The staff is very friendly. Heidi, the receptionist, is very gentle and helpful. The position of the hotel is perfect to visit. The hotel has a parking (15€/day). The place is very clean. If we come back again we'll choose the same hotel.

There is no elevator and reaching the room at 2nd floor, where our room was located, is not so comfortable if you have heavy luggage.
