well located charming hotel close to Cannes and the coast and grasse

breakfast was not included but was worth the price. The pool was well located and easy to access. Room and balcony great. fun area to walk to nearby bakeries and a few other stores.

Beetje een tegenvaller t.o.v. de verwachting door de foto’s.

Ligging dicht bij Cannes. Goed ontbijt.

Erg gedateerde hotel kamer. Foto’s zijn mooier dan de werkelijkheid. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding onvoldoende. Voor deze prijs verwacht je minimaal een ontbijt inclusief. Ontbijt is relatief prijzig maar wel goed. Onze lag naast een gedeelte wat op het moment van het verblijf werd verbouwd.

good parking and good location

plumbing wasn’t good. shower did not have glass shield or any curtain. Rooms are clean but old and need an upgrade. There were no plugs near the bed.

A charming hotel in the South of France

The hotel was very charming, with beautiful gardens, typical of the south of France. The rooms are spacious and quite clean, the pool is nice and it is in a great location, halfway between Grasse and Cannes and only 15min away from Nice airport. Equipment was enough and the breakfast was good!

Check in was a little late, the restaurant and bar was closed for 2 days because of a holiday (which sounds unbelievable to me as a Hotel is supposed to always be open? I live in Dubai so I may be biaised). Also, the restaurant re-opened on the last day and I went to book a table in the morning for the same night, the lady told me that the 2 services were fully booked... you guessed it, in the end I saw there was only 2 tables booked on that night and I realized after we booked in another restaurant 15min away. I don't understand why some places try to look exclusive and refuse business like that... absolute non sense. Anyways we still had a good stay besides that!

Very good location and a hotel!

The location was excellent! It was very clean and the garden was amazing. The rooms were quite specious.

There could be a small kettle in the rooms for a cup of tea or a coffee.

Comfortable night and relaxing start of the day

Nice location in the hills over Cannes, easy to reach from the highway, and with a Tesla Supercharger right in the parking lot. Beautiful architecture and a very well-cared-for garden around the pool.

I was not particularly impressed by the breakfast. No direct service at the table, for the hot beverages, there was a machine like in any IBIS or similar hotels, and a reasonable choice of sweet and more continental-style food.

The hotel needs to be renovated .

Small bathroom with damaged tiles ,damaged window and old faucets.The plates in the room are in poor condition . The reception wanted to give us a room weaker than we booked .

Nice location but old fashioned and broken rooms.

The garden and the pool are nice.

The hotel had seen better times. The rooms and the furniture are very old and worn out. The bathroom and toilette quite broken. The restaurant offers few options. No lift available.

Beautiful hotel extremely disappointed with the staff

The hotel was beautiful, in a fabulous location with incredible grounds but the hostility of the staff, the comments made at dinner to keep down the noise ( children from the next table came over to show us their pictures) and the sheer indifference was extremely uncomfortable . Again the hotel is beautiful but we felt like we were unwanted . We were happy to leave and sorry that our experience was so disappointing.

Superb

Have had two previous stays at the hotel - in 2017 and 2019 which both were fabulous. Quito, fantastic service, nice staf, etc.

This time for us it was too crowded by young families with small children that dominated the facilities including the swimmingpool. Very noicy.

beautiful place from outside nice garden and swiming pool private terrasse on the room very peaceful (chairs not comfortable at all)

bathroom are too old and very used ! service very slow lack of staff (thx to Vanessa) please read the comment of your costumers nothing have changed still mosquito dead on the walls !!!!

Not a bad location and the room was a good size with a nice little terrace and the pool area was nice. Staff were friendly enough but it feels more like a motel and was a a bit tired. Pricey for what it is.

Very good

Hotel de Mougins is a very lovely hotel and I have previously stayed with family before and this time with my husband. Firstly the grounds are beautiful, each room has a private terrace or balcony which was very nice. The pool is a great size and has plenty of sunbeds and the outdoor space around the bar and restaurant are both stunning but also really good service. It was mine and my husbands honeymoon and the staff did very sweet roses/swans on the bed which was a nice surprise. Thank you! Also great communication prior to our stay via booking.com We will definitely stay again

What both my partner and I felt could have been better was advice on taxis or potentially the Hotel thinking about running an evening shuttle bus up to Mougins and back. Maybe it was the week we went but having been so close to Mougins my partner and I liked to go in the evenings, we were told by the hotel to use uber over taxis and they were "very easy to come by". We found this was definitely not to be the case and extremely difficult which would have been nice to know in advance (Again possibly the week we went but my advice is to book well in advance for a taxi and not to rely on uber as we were told). Alternatively, if the hotel finds lots of guests go into Mougins at night maybe offering a shuttle service would be great as I would be very willing to pay for this for the convenience. Only other advice would be to offer drinks by the pool service. We stayed at one other 4 star in Eze on our trip and they were great by the pool allowing customers to have nice beers/ cocktails and soft drinks in plastic cups (we understand glass isn't and shouldn't be an option), we felt this could be a nice addition and would avoid people trying to sneak some into the pool area (we saw a few wine glasses from other guests which is unsafe). We would have spent a lot more money if this was an option! Might be worth the hotel to consider.
