A nice basic hotel in the center of the city

It was a good and very basic plc for a group of 3, but beds were maybe a bit too soft. Breakfast was lovely with fruits and veggies and the staff was very friendly. Perfect location in the middle of a small town near good and inexpensive restaurants. Maybe a bit over priced though.

No air conditioning, and the mini freezer was not cold enough. It was too warm to sleep. Not enough soap in the toilet.

People from the staff all absolutely nice, professional and polite (sehr sehr nette Leute!). My room was very large and clean, bed confortable.

The room was quite dark (even with all lamps on) and the desk didn't have any lamp. It was difficult to work with my laptop.

It is a comfortable, convenient place to stay, offering good value for money.

Good central location. Breakfast was good with a range of fruit, cereals, yoghurts, cold meats, cheeses, smoked salmon and breads as well as cooked eggs, bacon and sausage. Good double glazing so no traffic noise with the windows closed. Beds were comfortable and the room was warm.

The shower room needed some updating - the shower cubicle was not very strong and the sliding doors were very flimsy (although the shower itself was very good with plenty of water pressure and hot water). Would also be good to have brighter lighting in the room.

Fine choice

Central, renovated, friendly personnel. Easy access to the city centre and university, there is also a shared bike parking 3 min from the hotel. Standard breakfast.

Small details. The room felt a bit empty, the pillows were very very fluffy, the bathroom was clean but felt quite "cold".

We have stayed at the hotel three times now and have appreciated the pleasant helpfulness of all the staff. The room which I have always requested, or similar, has a bathroom with a bath and is more spacious. I believe since I last stayed that the hotel has undergone a successful renovation.
