Werden das Hotel nicht mehr buchen.

Zimmer war recht klein, konnten kaum aneinander vorbei gehen um das Bett herum. Zimmer selber sehr schön eingerichtet. War alles sauber, soweit wir das gesehen haben. Leider haben wir dann aber beobachtet dass die Reinigungsfrau zuerst mit starken Mittel das Lavabo geputzt hat und zuletzt das Trinkwasserglas. Da waren wir wortlos. Frühstück war im normalen Bereich. Lage nahe Insel Mainau

Kellner im Restaurant war nicht freundlich für unser Verständnis. Die Rezeption hat uns nicht informiert, dass in zwei Tagen ein Busstreik ist. Das war sehr ärgerlich. Standen an der Bushaltestelle…vergeblich! Leider hatte es am letzten Tag eine grössere Gruppe und wir hatten nicht mehr die Auswahl, wie an anderen Tagen. An Regentagen ist der Ort etwas sehr klein.

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub, wir kommen gerne wieder

Zimmer war nicht groß, aber vollkommen ausreichend, sowie geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Zimmer hatte eine hohe Decke mit Dachschrägen und einem kleinen Erker mit Blick auf den Park , seitlich konnte man auf den Bodensee blicken. Es war sehr ruhig . Betten waren bequem. Kleines Bad mit WC, Waschbecken und Dusche . Es gibt kostenfreie Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage ( auch für Fahrräder ) und am Hotel. Auch die Sauberkeit möchten wir hervorheben. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral, Bushaltestelle vor dem Haus (kostenlose Nutzung) Konstanz in der Nähe, Insel Mainau fußläufig zu erreichen , viele Ausflugsziele in der Nähe. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet, viel Platz, große und kleine Tische, gemütliche Nieschen und hat zudem eine grosse Außenterasse. Das Frühstücksangebot ist sehr umpfangreich, es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei, wird auch von den Mitarbeitern sofort nachgefüllt, so dass für alle Gäste immer ein ausreichendes Angebot zur Vefügung steht. Getränke sind reichlich vorhanden, ein zusätzlicher Kompfort ist der Kaffeeautomat. Extrawünsche werden gern erfüllt. Wir haben das gesamte Personal als sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit erlebt. Wir können die Hotelanlage wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir kommen wieder

Bodenseeticket inklusive, sehr ruhig und doch verkehrsgünstig gelegen, sehr nettes, freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Restaurant, schönes Frühstücksbuffet, vielfältige Wellness-Angebote, kostenlose Parkplätze bzw. Tiefgarage, gemütliche Zimmer.

War ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Sehr schönes, ruhiges Zimmer, Frühstück vielfältig, grosse Auswahl, Lage hervorragend, Bus direkt neben dem Hotel

Tischreservation am Abend anlässlich eines 80. Geburtstags hat nicht funktioniert. Apéro auf der Terrasse war perfekt, Tisch im Restaurant zum Essen klein rund in einer Ecke, kaum Platz. Das Personal war nicht flexibel um einen schönen Tisch herzurichten. Das war sehr entäuschend!!

OK Hotel but definitely not a 4 star, 3 star at best.

Large clean room with a very comfortable bed and adequate cupboard spaces. Plus a semi-decent view from the two windows. Breakfast was very good.

Absence of air-conditioning making the room extremely hot at night on two of the three days we were there. Needed to open the windows but this resulted in quite a lot of noise from outside disturbing our sleep. Absence of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Tiny bathroom such than when the shower door was opened it obstructed the door out of the bathroom and the toilet. Restaurant food in the evening was just about O.K but certainly not very exciting.

Superb

Lovely hotel, quiet as it is slightly out of the main tourist area, but do not let that put anyone off. A fabulous free and frequent bus service into the town and lake was a great bonus.

Overall, okay - good location for Mainau Island

The receptionist was pretty cold at first, but then actually turned out to be very kind after some time.

Our room was very hot and no A/C was available. We therefore had to sleep with the window open. Unfortunately, the hotel is located right next to the main road that passes through the village. Hence, it was very loud.

Superb

Wonderful breakfast spread with very helpful, good-natured and attentive serving staff quick to replenish items as necessary. Room was modern with just a few things needing a little attention, such as rough corners of floor skirting. Lovely view and so conveniently located for pleasantly walking to nearby garden and palace island of Mainau. Restaurant offered excellent evening meals and waiters were first class - with a dry sense of humour. We felt right at ease - with other guests largely of our own age. A great place to stay for a few leisurely days.

it was a ways from Constance but there is hourly buses and hotel gives you a free bus pass

Totally recommended.

Good location, 10 minute drive to the city of Konstanz and at walking distance to Mainau island and a lake beach. Good breakfast and plenty of parking spaces available. Speedy check-in and checkout and super friendly staff.

No expectations met

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The massage was expensive but worth it. Directly in front of the hotel is a bus stop, so you will reach the city centre easily in ca. 25 minutes.

The bed was personally for me uncomfortable. The towels need to be changed ASAP! The breakfast was scarce but enjoyable. If you want some personal space, it won't be there. The cleaning lady starts with her loud job at around 8 o'clock, so you won't be able to sleep any longer. The rooms are tiny, the bed stands almost at the door, so you hear everything what's happening on the floor. Once she just stormed into the room, where I stand only in my slippers at 9 o'clock.
