Great location with good views and close to the beach. Staff helpful on the whole. Would describe as an ‘authentic’ hotel which felt fitting for the type of holiday we were looking for . Good breakfast each morning. Beach towels available at no extra cost.
Only minor points but they added up…
- Unfortunately when we arrived the room smelt of cigarette smoke. The staff did look into it but it wasn’t resolved and they didn’t offer any mitigation/ compensation.
- you pay extra for use of the pool.
- parking is an additional cost.
- hotel nice but generally seems a little dated.
- spa/ sauna is additional cost.
- no iron in room and you have to ask at reception where it appeared they only had one iron/ ironing board in the whole hotel.
- we requested a ‘later’ check out (1 hr later) but this was declined.

The idea of it.
The fact that where is a ton of hidden costs not explained in booking from the pool costing money, to the 80% mandatory service charge on top of your food if you order room service, horrible location and difficult to get too.
the staff is for the most part absolutely terrible. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I’ve stayed at a motel 6 in America, (yuck). If they paid me 100 euro per night just to stay here after that experience I would not.

On the bay, calm at night, activities and boat trips close, nice beaches close, 5 stars for the friendly hotel team.
For the price, they should offer a place at the beach and a towel. Also, to ask for 25€ to be in a swimimg pool for babies doesn't make any sense. Make it free!

loved the location
Having to pay to use the roof pool and the beach on top of a £200 room charge seemed crazy!
Beds were very hard

This was the most perfect place for spending time surrounded by real beauty in nature. I am recently bereaved and I couldn’t have been in a better spot, sky, sea and cliffs. All the people at the spa and in the restaurants in the village, especially at Mary’s, were so kind and helpful. Wonderful
There was nothing I didn’t like.

beautiful hotel. all the staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned and towels were changed every day. we had a balcony room with a beautiful view of the sea and boats. a great place to have a quiet and relaxing holiday. the beach is stoney so you need flip flops or swimming shoes. you can hire a bed on the beach for €10 for the day and it’s well worth it. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. the resort is a bit out of the way if you want to sightsee, but the bus service is pretty good. There is a direct bus service to Sorrento a few times a day. The bus and train are so cheap, €1.40 from Nerano to Sorrento by bus. would highly recommend this resort. Jennie and her colleagues in the restaurant were so helpful and greeted us every morning like old friends.

A beautiful hotel with a retro vibe but also amenities like outlets! Superior service and bountiful breakfast offerings. Clean and pretty. Great location
Maybe they could update the bed covers but it was comfy and had plenty of pillows

Stay away please and don’t get ripped off, this is not a 4 star hotel. This place is very overrated and way overpriced, advertise and charge 4 star rate, however it’s a shabby, dated and dirty guest house with very rude and arrogant staff. All facilities in hotel are chargeable and non in a good condition. We were charged €2200 for a 5 night stay even though due to the hotel’s awful condition we decided to leave 2 nights earlier and communicated with the manager but he refused to refund us for the nights we didn’t stay. Our room was changed on arrival due to the awful and hazardous condition of the shower but even the second room and shower was in the same condition as can be seen from pictures. The rooms had a terrible odour and smelt of damp, the furnitures were rusted and outdated and dirty, the showers was a small cubicle which was filthy with black mould everywhere including shower head and exposed plug right on top of shower head.No kettle or any tea, coffee facility or any glasses or cups was available in the room, which is a normal offering of a 4 star hotel. The only bathroom amenities provided was just a cheap shampoo and shower gel and nothing else not even hand soap. The breakfast was a very limited choice with bees and flies all over foods without any protection or cover, water for tea was always cold and stock wasn’t refilled.Poor standard of staffing, with obvious lack of proper training as they hanged around the restaurant joking, laughing loudly and kicking each other and made fun of guests very obviously rather than ensuring stock was filled and we had to constantly ask for everything. When we asked for cutleries they were thrown on our table. There was a torrential rain one day and we asked for umbrella and non was available.Who and how this hotel has been rated as a 4 star is a wonder as there are absolutely nothing in this place that meets the standard of a 4 star.Unfortunately Booking.com also has no verification process to confirm the real standard.
Everything.

Good location near the sea but they don’t provide chair service and it was 20 Euro a day per person for a chair and umbrella. The beach is all stone and packed with chairs for purchase.
The breakfast was good.
The room had a bad odor and opening the door to outside it was constantly smelling like gas from the parking lot. We paid at time of reservation for a “superior view” but it was a hedge over the parking lot and could not see the sea from the room unless standing in one corner where there was no bed or chair or outside on the patio if crooking my neck past the parking lot. Plenty of rooms were empty higher up but it feels really hard to talk to the staff even though they speak English. Most people staying there are Italian and we did not feel welcome as we are not.

a small accident, we were suppose to arrive at 5pm, but actually we arrived at 2am due to delay flight, upon our arrival they OFFERED us some Toast Sandwiches, I thought this was a nice gesture from the Hotel, surprisly when we checked out they charged us Euro 105 ( for 5 Toast Sandwiches ) moreover when I asked them to cancel it or give some discount they refused.
