Zentral gelegen und ohne Renovierungsstau. Saubere und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Sehr nettes Personal.

Nice rooftop, free water bottles and coffee
Staff was not service-minded at all. Rooms were ok but with the price point I would have expected more

This hotel was lovely! Exceeded my expectation. They have a coffee shop that is free for customers which was a lovely bonus.
Hotel was lovely, rooms were small with no view but very nice.
Great location, can jump on the tour bus right in front of hotel and the streets behind are great for shopping and sight seeing.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Small gym. Complimentary water.
Restaurant on top floor lovely and good view
Nothing.

Gorgeous, clean, unique! Right on the Zocalo square. Plenty to do & if you don’t want to go out, plenty of people watching out your suite windows!
A bit noisy- many activities & drum beating outside, but it stops early so sleep not affected.

The cafe, such a good idea to have it all included in bill. Loved everything else
some of the waitresses serving breakfast were a bit slow!

The morning breakfast on the rooftop each day was an amazing experience. What a view and what fresh and delicious food! We also enjoyed sitting in the downstairs cafe near the lobby after a long day to enjoy the complimentary beer and sandwiches. The location is right on the Zocalo across from the main cathedral, so it's easy to walk everywhere.
I wish the gym was a little bigger, but it's not that important. I have no complaints and I already miss Mexico City and the hotel staff.

power outage, no elevators one evening. staff not particularly helpful

great location, thoughtful snack bar and very nice restaurant. the suite was very comfortable. the view of the cathedral and plaza spectacular.
some things are beyond the control of the hotel, like late night door slamming or hallway bantering by guests. we were almost subjected to the Mexican Coachella right outside our window ( Noche Primavera)if I didn’t request a room switch in the nick of time! ( we were waken
up at 7 am when they were doing sound check, it was so loud the building was shaking!) the traffic noise is constant, more so at night. seemingly the hotel was trying to cover up the constant sewage smell with some scent, as a result you smell both.

Zocalo Central is a WONDERFUL choice for accommodation when visiting Mexico City indeed! The hotel has a boutique feel so its very cozy and welcoming too. I was extremely impressed with the service. The free breakfast at el Balcon del Zocalo was phenomenal. Also, it was a complete surprise that they have a 24 hour cafeteria and, as a guest, you are entitled to any food and drink on their menu at no extra charge. It's the first time I have stayed at a hotel with this complementary perk. I absolutely loved that bottled water, at all times of the day, were also completely free of any charge. The BEST part of our stay would have to be the super WELCOMING and FRIENDLY staff. Brenda and Yader, hotel's receptionist, were out of this world friendly and very helpful. I appreciate how welcomed they made us feel. I will most definitely return to stay at this hotel on my next visit :) Thank you, Zocalo Central for a delightful stay!!!
There were two things that i didnt like so much about this hotel. For one, traffic in Mexico City is extremely heavy and very busy. I felt the hotel tended to be a bit further out for most of my excursion and dinner bookings. Therefore, due to the traffic, you do have to double the estimated arrival times to any of your reservations for Mon thru Friday outings. The weekends seem to be a lot better in regards to traffic. Another con, for me, was the size of the room. It was a very tiny and small space. I was hoping for two beds and only got one full size bed (queen size) so it was a bit disappointed about the room not exactly having the feel of their actual website. However, the PRO's are just soooo many, that it really didnt matter that much to us. Just do expect the rooms to be quite small.

We loved the convenient location, walkable to everything in the Centro Histórico. The room, although small, was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was great. We especially appreciated the cafe that kept us going with beers and food. So convenient! There was also an unending supply of bottled water available.
Everything was great.

location was great. it was very clean. parking was free.
bed, was uncomfortable, room was very small, window was extremely small, noise from the street, breakfast was lacking

Location perfect. Breakfast very good and desk staff very helpful and friendly.
Free water and snacks and drinks in cafe.
The room (416)was listed on booking.com as a deluxe room but it plainly wasn’t a deluxe room. Small room and only window onto a gloomy interior atrium making the room dark and poorly ventilated.
Floor lifting only 5 hangers no kettle or fridge. Beverage tray disappointing. Quilt cover not secured over quilt unhygienic. Shower smells of mould when running.

Really enjoyed being at this hotel. The package I booked was excellent. Enjoyed the breakfast. The restaurant is not a part of the hotel although it is located on the 6th floor of the hotel. It was a great breakfast. Moreover, the cafe that was open for 24 hours was a great place for beer, or wine, and snacks like a variety of sandwiches, chips, etc, and more. Really enjoyed that as a welcome spot to rest while my room for competing being sanitized.
The staff were friendly, helpful, easy to communicate with.
The house keeping was excellent.
The room and bathroom were cleaned daily and cleaned well. Much appreciated.
My room was on the 5th floor. Loved that. One elevator (out of two) always stopped on the 2nd floor for some reason, even when no one on the elevator pressed that floor and even when no one was on the second floor waiting for the elevator. Minor inconvenience.
Although I loved my room and the 5th floor, it was by the housekeeping room and could be noisy at times, Minor inconvenience. I would stay in this room again.

Not sure if there was a special promotion going on, but we received complimentary water in our rooms, and more was available in the common areas. Also, we were able to order anything from the cafe menu on the main floor and everything was completely complimentary. The staff were very polite and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here with my family.
I wish the restaurant had other options on the menu. It was not a menu I could enjoy with my children so we opted not to eat there. But the menu items did seem interesting if I was going with my spouse.

Hotel Zocalo Central is right next to the Zocalo and close to many sightseeing spots and great restaurants. There is a fantastic view of the cathedral from the roof. The in-house restaurant is very good, book in advance for dinner, included for breakfast. But amazingly, there is a little cafe downstairs with FREE food and drinks all day, also useful if you are in a hurry and want to grab a sandwich to take with you for a later picnic. Great service too, everyone is so nice.
The rooms are very clean and up to date with lovely beds. But they are small. On our second stay, our room was REALLY small and we were a bit disappointed to get what is probably the worst room they have when we had returned after a short time and brought 2 more rooms full of guests with us. I feel like they owed us an upgrade- but, I do understand that they were just really busy and full
