Location next to the sea, lovely pool, delicious food. Especially for Shabbat.
Lobby restaurant needs a more extensive or varied menu for different nights.
3.5 / 5.0
pool and food excellent
tired decor in parts. bed not so comfy. extremely overpriced if you compare to hotels in other amazing locations in the world, . our original triple room was teeny, as was the standard room

Location on the beach beautiful views. Breakfast was plentiful and very good food. Lots of variety. Friendly and helpful staff. Room decent size
House keeping in rooms wasnt good. Didnt clear away used cups, found hairs on bathroom floor after cleaning got plate of fruit on arrival didnt remove dirty fork/knives. Went to beach got some sand on floor it wasnt cleaned up. Also minor issue sea view rooms only for the suites even though my room was described as having sea view it was ony partial view

the location is good -by the sea
in desperate need of a makeover and refurbishment -very expensive for the standard it provides. Staff are not great-hiring whoever that can and probably paying badly.

We had friends for breakfast on Shabbat. They were very impressed.
On Shabbat there could have been some cold savoury eg. two or three fillings to be put onto rolls. Not everyone likes cake at 7pm at night.

clean modern rooms.
great location.

for 700$ a night, complementary parking could have been nice.

We felt the breakfast was certainly not up to standard compared to other Israeli hotels.
We would have liked coffee brought to the table and some service other than clearing up!

Breakfast was gargantuan - food fresh.
Absolutely no problem to find a good meal
Would have preferred fresh scrambled eggs but theomelette daily was a good substitute

everything was great - location, service, food (the breakfast was just amazing)
a deposit was blocked on my credit card for more than 10 days after I left the hotel and paid all amounts due. this is just not a good practice and should be improved

Great layout, beautiful setting, fantastic staff and amazing food.
It has become very tired over the years and is in need of a fairly urgent refurbishment. I understand that some rooms have been modernised nicely, however, the pool area, sun loungers, balconies/terraces, some corridors, bathrooms as well as many other parts of the hotel are showing definite signs of their age and feel trapped in the 1990’s.
My fear is that this is a chicken and egg scenario - as families continue to pay many many thousands of pounds per trip there, the hotel management are probably unlikely to spend what is required and close/partially close the hotel during a period of refurbishment.
To put it in perspective, a quote on this website for a room for 10 days over Passover 2023 for a couple and one child, comes in at £12,500 for a standard double room for 10 days.
There is also poor accessibility for families with a buggy/pram as there was a lot of carrying our baby in the buggy up and down a large flight of stairs to the pool, and a gate leading to a ramp which partially led down to the beech was locked so this required many more steps although they can’t be blamed for being above sea level!
