The Metropole cancelled my booking 3 weeks before my stay and moved me to the Grand Hotel which was terrible.

the location of the hotel was excellent very close to everything i was happy with my room nice bathroom and clean with a great view of sea and tower,
the receptionist was extremely unfriendly infact i'd say rude, the once grand hotel is now very tired and much in need of a refurb but i suppose passible for the money[although happy with my room] the bed was possible the hardest matteress ive ever known in my life and was thinking that alone must lose the hotel many non returning guests, was there 3 nights 2 were quiet and fine the last which was a wednesday was a nightmare drunks shouting in the early hours someone banging on my door and wouldn't go and to finish off the fire alarm went off so definitely won't be back or fact to blackpool either quite frankly im better than that,

Absolutely nothing. Front desk staff friendly but not very helpful.
Terrible place. Rooms had no wifi and not even phone networks. I was there for work and was forced to move to another hotel. It was also about £100 wasted on this awful place. Leaky roof, puddles in the corridors. Yuk!

Shabby, dated snd not a single smile from staff, all rude and unapproachable. Breakfast was cold and non left before end of breakfast time but would not supply more.
