It is truly rural and gorgeous. We arrived to a fire burning in the living area and a warm welcome from Theresa.

The property is set in a beautiful rural location. a perfect place to rest and enjoy nature. The room was tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and lovely soft high quality sheets.
The public spaces are beautiful and comfortable and very inviting to relax in.
We enjoyed both a wonderfully well prepared and tasty dinner and breakfast.

Superb location! They allowed us to stay with our dog and gave us a larger room with a balcony. Very welcoming hosts. We'd definitively come back
Maybe more variety of things in the breakfast, like eggs or some more cooked stuff. I understand it's hard to prepare because the do it one at the time, which is really nice by the way. Otherwise it's hard to find some negative aspects

What a charming welcome we had at this hotel. The couple are delightful. The decor, furniture, layout of the house and the general air of elegance and olde world stateliness was very pleasant. We did not take the room we had booked, we were offered a different one at the same price on check in that was sunnier and had a pretty elevated terrace. The breakfast was ample and served with a smile. Parking around the back was preferable to going around the very tight hairpin bend at the front. The terrace off our room was lovely and the view was tremendous. Everything was spotless. I temporarily removed one of the two bulbs in the bedside light on my side of the bed to give a more pleasant light as it was very intense otherwise. The local ruined monastery was a lovely visit.
The bed was rather small. It was not easy to figure out how to open and close the bathroom window. But these are things that come with a traditional, old property. We enjoyed our stay.

The place was a dream. Cruz our host was one of the best host we had during our visit in Spain and Portugal. She was always checking on us to see if we need anything. The house was from her family , it was super cozy, the rooms were very spacious and super clean. I had the best rest from the whole trip here. The weather was not good but it didnt stop us to enjoy the beauty of the place. We had lunch at Restaurante Casa Juan where we had a great time and it is like 5 min from the Casa. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast. Thank you Cruz for the best time we had in Spain. We loved your attentions and the house was a dream. We recommend it for other guests.

Nothing in particular
- no food exept for breakfast
- at breakfast you needed to wait for being served for every slice of salami; no eggs or anything extra; readymade cake
- no facilities to eat although no food was served at lunch or for diner; we literally had to beg for some cuttlery and glasses
The worst: when we came home from a daytrip late in the dark, the windows of the childrens’ romm on the ground floor were left wide open by the cleaners. Everybody coule have just walker in and steal Ipads and e-readers. We didn’t feel safe.
