Beautiful place to stay. Convenient to everything.

We loved the beautiful old building. The location was great & we were able to park onsite. The onsen was great & the room really spacious. We really enjoyed our stay.

Futons on the floor are a bit hard for my liking, but it was great to experience sleeping on them.

ロケーションは大変良かった。部屋丁度良い部屋で、寛ぐことが出来ました。30年経つとは思いませんでした。

食事は予約が必要で、予約の際食事の予約欄があれば幸いです。地元の食彩を味わうのも旅行の大きな目的でもあります。

Very enjoyable stay. the Onsen, rooms and breakfast 10/10. Shutter bus service provided.

Exceptional

Very comfortable. The public bath was spacious and tidy.

The television was a bit old - no internet connection , so couldn't connect to Netflix or Youtube.

Bell boys not helpful!

1. Gorgeous view and excellent onsen. 2. Staff at restaurant are nice. 3. Bedroom is clean and spacious.

The bell boys are not helpful. 4 of us have a lot of luggage but they didn't offer any help, just looking at us.We finally found a trolley to move by ourselves 2. not sufficient air conditioning 3. the corridors are very dark, not much lighting. 4. weak wifi 5. breakfast not attractive, not value for money. 6. the onsen located at the 5th floor is clean but the one located at the 7th floor is dirty, The mats in the changing room are very smelly and the pool has little sand, which is quite disgusting.

Pretty much we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Associa Takayama Resort. Definitely will try again next tim

We enjoyed that the Staffs were polite and hospitable towards us. The cleanliness and large spaces was superb.

The location is i think a bit far coming from Tokyo but is okay since it is near in Takayama Interchange. The most thing we didn’t enjoy was the breakfast since servings we’re to little and overly controlled.

This was the best place to stay in Takayama. We enjoyed it so much we booked an extra night.

My husband chose the hotel. I would definitely stay there again. The experience was out of this world. The building is old world, the room was so spacious, and the view was magnificent. We were given a large room on 17th top floor with views across the town and mountains.

We are vegetarian and could not eat at the amazing restaurant for dinner. We went into town each night and found an amazing Vegetarian restaurant for dinner. It is important to book a table at most restaurants. We were able to eat the buffet breakfast.

We would stay there again. It was so quiet and perfect location for holiday.

We were given a room on the top floor, 17th floor with a breathtaking view of the Town and mountains. The room was so spacious. We could not stop taking in the view. The outdoor spa facilities were free and simply amazing.

Being Vegetarian, we could not eat at the amazing restaurant.

Great value lovely accomodation and onsen

Highly recommend this hotel lovely spot with views the onsen was amazing and the best rooms we had in Japan large and comfy. Only ate at the cafe so didn’t try the restaurants as the food was great in town. The free shuttle to town was a bonus.

The cafe could have had larger menu.

Outstanding views and spacious rooms.

Very spacious rooms; exceptionally clean. A little out of town (short 5 min drive to old part of town) but with outstanding views of the town and the surrounds. Guest shop on premises.

Not all restaurants are open every night - check which are open to co-ordinate with your stay.

Nice property with great onsen located a little distance away from town. The shuttle buses operate till 9pm. Excellent breakfast. Be prepared as it can get very busy. Takayama is a pleasure to visit and provides insights into a earlier era. I think a bit off the beaten track.

Exceptional

Onsen was wonderful, there are many kinds with a great view. Also the bed was very comfy. Staffs are very kind and prepare anything as much as they can. Also there are so huge choices in breakfast. Amazing!
