Exceptional

Mario was an amazing host, he explained everything about the room and its facilities.He also took the time to tell us about the local area and the best places to eat and visit. The room was a good size, with a tall ceiling that gave the feeling of a much bigger room. It was extremely clean, my wife is very particular about cleaniness and she rated it highly. I would highly recommend Abba De Mar to anyone visiting Alghero. Thank you Mario

Enjoyed staying in Alghero at this apartment!

Wonderful apartment! It had everything we needed. We booked here because we had a car. The owner gave us his spot close to the apartment.. so nice. we walked everywhere. We would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodation in perfect location

Excellent clean and modern mini apartment in great location for the centro storico. Easy on street parking. Very friendly and helpful host Mario who explained everything clearly to us in English. Good none touristy restaurants in local area.

Breakfast was self serve and was ok but not very sustainable (single use products). Apartment is big enough to have small kitchen facility.

Restuarant recommendations and a map of the town were provided. It was great having a fridge and kettle.

plastic disposable cutlery is not climate friendly or easy to use.

Excellent location

Mario was the most perfect host - greeting us on arrival with a parking space ( moving his own car!), and then showing us the flat and everything within ( all as advertised). He also told us about the area and the restaurants etc. We had a lovely stay, despite the weather, and would certainly visit again when next in the vicinity as it was only a five minute walk to the front - very handy for the Old Town. The apartment had everything we needed, including a balcony for that essential evening nightcap.

Best location with charming host.

Very warm welcome by Mario. He organized even a parking place for us at our arrival. He is the most charming and helpfull host you can imagine. Has alot of patience to explain everything and give answers to all our questions. Well organized breakfast already in the room (without service). Comfortable and convenient. We felt at home.

Good location, near old town. Apartment is very spacious and clean. The owner is very helpful, we had a problem with car and he aranged everything in couple minutes.

Really nice place in the centre of Alghero

Very nice place and really warm welcome by amazing host. He explained us everything, showed where we can park our car for free and recomended good restaurants nearby. B&B is situated in the centre of the city, close to all attractions. Breakfast in the room because of Covid restrictions, but with good variety of products (even fruits and ham etc). You can find here everything you need to have good time in Alghero.

Amazing value for money, definitely will stay again if I'm in the area.

Mario and his lovely Wife went above and beyond to make our stay as lovely as it could be. First, we arrived mid-morning, and they kindly let us to check in at noon, 3h before our official check in. It allowed us to refresh after our journey and to enjoy the day right away, rather than hanging out in the area waiting to drop our luggage. Mario prepared all kind of useful tips about the town, area, parking, beaches, restaurants - you named it! He also printed and highlighted all those locations for us on the map, so we could just go out and enjoy ourselves straight away rather than googling places and information. I need to say that I often stay in small family-run b&b and Italian way of hosting guests is always amazing, but Mario definitely exceeded our expectations! He was also available to us if we needed any help. Our studio apartment was cleaned 3times during our stay, and by cleaning I mean a proper deep clean, not just dusting and sheet change like it often happens. We were very impressed by the standards. Before we arrived, I asked via email if the little balcony in the flat has a table so I can drink a coffee. I didn't think much about it, I just wasn't sure if pictures on booking.com are from different room. When we arrived Mario brought me a little table so we can sit outside! I was very touched by this! We had a lovely time during our holiday and will definitely come again if we are in the area.

Clean and comfortable apartment, convenient walking distance from old town

Very nice, spacious and clean apartment in the quiet street in the city centre. It is very close to the old town, but at the same time away from too many tourists and noise there. So, the location is wonderful because we had a nice walk to the sea in the old town & city. There is also free parking nearby, at any time. We had a perfect stay, because the living area was comfortable for two people; the bed was comfy, too and the bathroom (shower) was great. The breakfast was good - plenty of fresh fruit, food and drinks. Very friendly staff.
