i absolutely adored and loved not only the property itself but the surrounding Portsmouth local area. the Picard staff treats you like
you’re family like you belong there; from check in to check out someone is always greeting you, checking on you always willing to answer questions or provide great customer service.
be aware if you book off/low season the restaurant may not be open but there are plenty of small restaurants cafes to serve you within a short distance (waters edge was my fave). Savers is a great local grocery store where you can stock up.

Perfect for the occasion🥰, it was a girls' trip, and so the ambiance and layout was perfect 👌 loved being close proximity to the beach🫶... literally a stone throw. Staff were very hospitable and friendly😎. The accommodation for food at the restaurant was amazing!😌 The cottages were well equipped and well kept, and everything was functional. 👌👏 Pinard was very helpful.💖 Ms. Lexy was the most!!!!..🤩..awesome folks!!! My cousins and I were most pleased with our first trip to Dominica 😌
Mosquitoes and Sandflies, but that's totally beyond the host control.

I love the place and everything
I didn't like that the a/c was giving me and my friends a lil problem. It was on but wasn't being cold , I'm not sure if we made a mistake but it wasn't working for the night

Ths staff were great. They were generous with local fruit on the property. There was no smoked herring and the chef bought some just to serve me. That was priceless.
Could improve the main hotel with some renovations.

The beach. The simplicity of the grounds. Walking distance to fabulous food as the Infinity restaurant.

Location. Right on the Caribbean and near to Cabrits Dive Dominica -awesome outfit- super, private cottage with a birds eye view of the sunset. Very comfortable with a lovely porch directly on the beach. Restaurant on site and a quaint tiki bar on the beach south of the cottages. Cash only for the tiki bar.
First night mosquitoes in the room so I had to sleep under the net. 2nd night it was fine, but I kept the door closed at all times so they didn't seem to come in, so much better. I loved the sound of the surf, but it was loud, so if you need quiet...

Loved hearing the waves and being steps from the beach. Friendly staff.
Cottage could have been in slightly better condition, but was as described and expected.

it's clean and all the natural things around
There was no bottle opener, and local pepper or seasoning. For a cottage it need that

This was a FANTASTIC place! You can't beat a cottage 30 ft from the ocean, being able to hear the waves all day and night long. The cottage was well equipped - coffee maker, fridge, sugar, all the utensils you would need. Pick up a few breakfast essentials from the store less than .5 miles away and you can make yourself a gourmet breakfast and enjoy it on your porch.
The staff went above and beyond to help us during our stay - from helping us find a place to fix a flat tire to providing restaurant recommendations and coordinating transport. There was nothing they couldn't help us find or solve.
The groups are gorgeous! A lot of tropical flowers and trees, and the starfruit tree right next to our cottage had so much fruit on it. More starfruit than we could eat in 4 days!

Quiet. Charming. Excellent location.

beautiful location, literally a few steps from a beautiful calm, Sandy beach. air conditioning was a godsend and the mozzie nets kept us bite free!
nothing really, but I would avoid the restaurant next door except for drinks as the service was very slow. views spectacular though at sunset.

Nice location by the beach, (go there before it gets washed away by the rising sea level...), good shade, iguana in the tree, quiet (ok we were off season), nice staff. Breakfast available, dinner also.
not much;: bungalows a bit flimsy in built (but charming), you have ton use AC (no fan in room), mosquito net not very usable (you are always putting some part of the body against the net and you get bitten). Dinner was slow to serve but not a big issue for us.

Friendly staff, the property was clean
the shower did not work however when reported maintenance was prompt

Very nice beach location. Nice garden.
Service and food in the restaurant has a lot of space for improvement, to put it politely.

self contained cottage
mosquitoes, poor WiFi, wasn’t one of the beach front cottages, dead creature under window in kitchenette (it’s still there)

Loved the ambiance, the quiet solitude and sounds off the waves crashing. We enjoyed it very much.
Was a but disappointed in the entertainment (tv). It was buffing so much we just left it off which was a bummer.

The staff were helpful.
The property itself is in need of a major update. Bugs can easily crawl through the cracks between the wood and tiles. The bathroom sink had ants crawling in and out of it at all times. Mosquitoes were everywhere. In addition, Booking.com says I’m a genius member and was supposed to get upgrades like an oceanfront cottage and free breakfast. None of those amenities were given to me.

- Great beach front location, we often had the beach to ourselves.
- Some good snorkelling on the other side of the small pier
- walkable to a few small supermarkets we recommend Sunrise supermarket.
-The restaurant next door plays loud music late at night, weekdays until midnight and weekends it was still going at 2/3am. This disturbed us most nights and we were in one of the further cottages away from the restaurant!
-Wifi is not great, drops out a lot.
- Some appliances have USA plugs which can not be used without an adapter
- No sharp knife to cut food with and no chopping board.
- information regarding departure PCR was confusing. You must book this weeks in advance to avoid any stress.

The location ws nice and the service was good.
We booked for a beach front cottage at US$159 per night, but when we got there it was a garden cottage. We ended up paying $80 more a night for a beach front cottage, which was not what was advertised.
