Well designed family room. Great for if you have more than 2 children! Clean and comfortable. Perfect for stop after a channel crossing. Would definitely recommend and return again.
Basic facilities and decor, but for a roadside stopover, it was perfect. No lift (that we could find) so bringing suitcases in was a challenge on the top floor.

Friendly and helpful receptionist; pleasant and clean room and bathroom. It was quiet, no traffic, window view of lovely tall trees. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
A lift would be good if one has a lot of luggage. It's a shame the hotel has no restaurant.

Very comfy bed and very clean.

Good location, close to town and motorway. Clean and comfy beds.
A bit tired, no frills. So for price felt a little under our expectations.

Rooms were not that clean. No amenities or staff.

An example of a 'fully automated' hotel, with room key dispensed after payment at entrance. At first glance, the exterior of the Hotel and gardens appeared a little neglected. However, once inside the surroundings proved to be pleasantly furnished with a large lounge and coffee facilities and open corridor. Our room, as were all the public areas, spotlessly clean with modern furnishings. The location was ideal for our short drive the following morning before catching the ferry at Dunkirk. (Approx. 1 hour 20 mins in our case.)
It did seem strange that there was nobody there to greet guests and answer any questions we may have had. Perhaps this was because it was a late Sunday afternoon and was not typical of the rest of the week. Be prepared for a lengthy walk or car ride to find somewhere to eat, something we failed to achieve. We ended up buying from a local supermarket rather than continuing our search.

Great value for money. Great location for town centre

This place hasn't much going for it, the breakfast was OK with quite a good 'continental' selection of meats, cheeses, bread & pastries. Parking is OK as it's right at the front of the building, I'm struggling now to think of anything positive.........
The check in process is via a coded door lock which we didn't have the number for so were expected to wait until 6pm for somebody to turn up. Luckily after about an hour someone (not staff) was able to let us in. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke as did most of the place actually. tables in the communal area were sticky, the whole place needs a damn good clean. The outside area in front of the doors is overgrown with a selection of odd chairs and tables there. The hotel isn't near anything, it says it is but it's a half hour + walk to the town centre. This one's not for me again until it's refurbished.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our family rooms were next to each other, as requested. We couldn’t fault the hotel or staff, and the location was really walkable to town which we hadn’t realised when we booked (we thought it was a drive away). Thank you
Nothing I can think of.

The owners were very pleasant and helpful people Room was small but clean and had eveything you needed. For a room only stay it was excellent value for money..
The hotel did not have a restaurant as such, but offered a breakfast room area with a limited dinner menu which was straight from the freezer and into the microwave served in a range of jars _ never seen anything like this before !

Bathroom not very good

Room are basic but comfortable. It was easy to adjust the heating, which can sometimes be a real problem in more expensive hotels. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty. Lovely French bread and croissants with yoghurts, some looked homemade. Very good selection teas and herbal teas.
The bathroom was quite tight. I had to change a baby in it which made it tight, but that was a very minor point!
