Localización, comodidad de check in

Location …and it was clean and cheerful!
The front double door was a little tricky, but overall everything was great!

Excellent attention by the staff- we locked ourselves out at 1.30 am- but the staff were on the end of a phone call to help out!

The location of the hotel is incredibly central and convenient - just perfect. The room was great, stylish, well designed, with a glazed balcony and a view across the street to the bars and restaurants. The bed was very comfy. But best of all was the way Vanessa at the reception desk looked after us. We arrived in Santiago on a super early flight from Gatwick. Tired, we made our way to the hotel and left the bags in reception until what we thought was going to be the earliest possible check-in at 2pm. But at 11am Vanessa sent us a text saying our room was ready. What a relief. We were grateful. In addition, Vanessa recommended a great place for breakfast which lived up to expectation. All in all we were well looked after at Hotel Montenegro and enjoyed our stay.
Santiago is a party town in the summer. It was noisy outside the hotel until the really early hours, almost throughout the night. It was too warm to keep the windows shut. Without air conditioning we had no choice but to put up with it. It’s not the fault of the hotel. But if you want to be in the buzz where it is happening, it’s the place to stay. Lots of first class cheap eateries nearby. Lively bars and lots of fun.

Excellent location, very close to the cathedral. Very helpful staff, nice and clean room. No problem to leave luggage at the reception after check-out. Lots of great restaurants in the center.

Close to city centre but still very quiet. Nice room size.

Staff was stellar and the location just a few steps from the cathedral.
I booked the stay thinking that there would be a massage service available in house or on call. It says in their facilities list that this would be available. There is instead a massage center, not connected to the hotel near the cathedral. Although the staff gave excellent directions, it was not what I expected.

Fantastic boutique hotel, located in the old section of the city, close to the Catherdral, restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was impossible at the hotel but available close by and the hotel could arrange a discount at a nearby parking facility.
No airconditioning but a pedistal fan was supplied and with the windows open it was fine.
