Estar como en casa en una zona impresionante.

La atención de todo el personal del hotel fue exquisita, informándonos ampliamente y con mucho conocimiento de los mejores lugares para visitar por la zona y preocupándose en todo momento por nuestro bienestar. Los desayunos eran extraordinarios, saludables y de una calidad excelente. La zona en la que se encuentra el hotel es de una gran belleza y muy tranquila, con muchos lugares interesantes a poca distancia. Ha sido una experiencia para repetir más adelante.

Urdaibai es un paraíso natural

Las cenas que prepara Janire son espectaculares, elaboradas, riquísimas y muy saludables. La atención de Iñaki y Marco sus consejos sobre rutas de senderismo, el entorno, ha sido una experiencia para volver. Laster arte.

Tranquilidad y sosiego

Excelente ubicación muy tranquilo sin ruidos y en un entorno genial. Apartamento con todo, cocina, horno, microondas, tostador, cafetera y utensilios como en casa.

Maravillosa experiencia

El lugar es precioso, transmite tranquilidad nada más llegar. Jani es amor puro y cocina increíble. Las habitaciones eran muy cómodas. Marco nos dio los mejores consejos para comprar por la zona y esperamos volver pronto!

Fabuloso

Jani y Marco estuvieron muy pendientes de todo ( la hora de llegada) por si queríamos que nos prepararan algo de comer. El entorno es fabuloso. Muy rico el desayuno y saludable. Nos gustó mucho, si volvemos por el norte volveremos a alojarnos allí. Gracias por atendernos tan bien. Saludos.

Beautiful location

Beautiful location for visiting the coastal area. The room was big and had a little balcony with a view on the mountain. The building itself had a nice rural look, which suited the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Of the two pillows, one was quite hard, which wasn't very comfortable. The dinner was tasty, but not cheap. It consisted of just one plate which wasn't that filling. Overall, the price for the room could, in our view, have been somewhat lower for what we got.

Large room, friendly staff, good Breakfast, free parking next to the house. Quiet and peaceful surroundings.

Breakfast from 9am, might be bit late. But was absolutely perfect for us!

Superb

Marco and Jani were wonderful hosts. Marco, being an enthusiastic motorbiker himself, gave me very good advice for a motorbike tour of the area. Jani cooked two delicious dinners. Great quiet location. Highly recommended!

wonderful agorturismo type inn with great customer service outside of town

Rooms were comfortable and flexible enough to accommodate our group. We also booked a specially prepared vegan dinner for us which was amazing.

Location was hard to get to from the Camino route. We needed 2 taxis and they were difficult to locate.

Comfy, cozy, eco-friendly, and oh so peaceful.

The hotel is surrounded by farms and nestled back into the edge of the woods. It's an idyllic and absolutely peaceful setting. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfy. Like so many others have mentioned, we really enjoyed the breakfast. It was simple, yet filling and delicious. We loved their focus on local, ethical, and green—everything from the toilet paper to the shower gel to the food served at the restaurant). The staff was helpful and friendly. Just a short walk to town, where there are a few delicious restaurants.

It's a bit tricky navigating the small roads of the town on the way to the hotel, but there's not too much they can do about that part!

Wonderful

The owner, Marco helped us a lot and Yani prepared wonderful breakfast. The bed pillows were very comfortable. Our cats loved the small balcony with plants. Please say thank you to the cleaning lady for giving us back in time our forgotten champagne!

Please say sorry to our neighbors on 11th Sep. 2022 morning. Our one cat escaped to their balcony and they were very nice to her and us! Sorry for having disturbed.

Unique gem that will make your visit to Basque country a delight.

Breakfast was generous and tasty with high-quality local products. The staff and service was truly remarkable. Marco, the host is really spectacularly friendly and knowledgeable an had great tips for all sorts to get the most out of the area...which is really beautiful. An unexpected treat was the delicious food. Although I am a pretty enthusiastic carnivore, Jani's vegetarian fare was so flavorful that I never missed the meat. All products are organic, locally sourced and delcioso! We spent three weeks in Portugal and Spain on this trip and my wife and I agreed the dinners here were the culinary highlight of the trip. Loved our room - décor is hip/quirky antiques --e.g., there was an antique sewing machine in our room. Nice balcony on our room and bed was comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer.

What a find !

Lovely staff who go out of their way to help you. Even arranged a vet's appointment for tapeworm treatment for our dog to be able to return to uk. Beautiful food all organic and locally sourced . Fantastic location for walking and nature.. Saw a wild boar in the garden late one evening and deer and lots of redstarts among other birds . Also convenient for ferry terminal at Bilbao. So friendly and Marco and Jan are a very good team.

This place is a little slice of heaven!

We were met by the owner Marco, who speaks perfect English. He was warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The place is absolutely beautiful! We were so fortunate to find such a wonderful place in the country, peaceful and quiet with amazing views. We would definitely stay here again!

We were on camino de santiago but all there was no accommodation in Gernika and near. So we took a 20min bus to eco hotel. And we didn't regret for a second. Stunning location. Txakoli vineyard next to the hotel. March, the owner and Jani, the head of the kitchen were so welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommended to have dinner at snack corner Vita (km0) and try Jani's vegan cooking. Delicious and nurturing!

Outstanding experience

I liked everything. The place is wonderful, isolated in a beautiful valley in the nature. They have a very interesting eco concept, the breakfast is absolutely wonderful with very good products and very generous. Despite being a rural house, the facilities were of a great comfort with great beds, bathroom etc. The staff is extremely friendly, takes the time to talk with you and give a you a few tips about what to do in the urdaibai region. I definitely recommend it to anyone who would have th chance to visit the region.
