It is a spectacular traditional Riad with beautiful decor and very comfortable.
Nothing really, I couldn’t get the A.C to work but I think it was me not the device that was at fault.

The decor of the Riad is beautiful and it was a very peaceful place to stay. The breakfast was also very nice.
I could get the A.C to work.

The staff here were welcoming and very nice. The meals prepared by madam were just delicious. We had the best tagine in Morocco in the hotel's restaurant.
The location is great, right in the medina. This is a great place to stay.
Initially, it's a bit tricky to find. Fortunately, the locals were very happy to point us in the right direction.
The mattress was exceptionally firm, so not particularly comfortable - we took the extra blankets and put them under the bottom sheet for extra padding which was OK.

On of the best Riad we've been in 2 weeks of Morocco. The staff is so attentive and kind. The structure is finely restores, with attention to details, even the toiletries provided were particularly good.

Staff was very helpful and spoke excellent English.
The place was very nice.
Not related to the accommodation but to the experience; Strangers approached me as soon as I got out of the car asking questions and wanting to sell me all kinds of stuff.

Thanks for the lovely reception and the very informative info provided throughout the stay. Right from the beginning, even before booking, all my questions were answered perfectly and very fast. Parking was close to the Riad, and the guard helped with the luggage and led us to the Riad, which is a bit hidden from the main path through the medina. The Riad is very nice and clean, with a good breakfast served upstairs on the terrace with view to the sea - guess you can enjoy nice sunsets there when the weather is right. The owner (speaking excellent English!) and all staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made our short stay very enjoyable. The city itself is pleasently non-touristic, offering beautiful local pottery in the market, and you can see the potters and painters at work nearby producing the lovely traditional and modern ceramics. All in all, Safi and the Riad Le Cheval Blanc are well recommended for a stay between Essaouira and Casablanca.

Breakfast and the woman who served us and also received us on arrival the evening before. Beautiful interior. We enjoyed the location….approximately half an hour walk to Safi beach. In the heart of shops/stalls. In the opposite direction, large cafe where we had sea views and good food.
Lighting in the room was quite difficult…not simple to find though local people were very helpful.

From the time I checked in to the day of my departure, Amel and the staff at the White Horse went out of their way to make feel welcome and accommodate my needs. Each day after my breakfast I would walk out the main door of the Riad and be straight onto the market area of Safi. I couldn’t ask for more.
it was all good

The warm welcome. The superb food - breakfast and dinner cooked with care. The beautiful tiled interiors. Lovely bedrooms with attention to details. The tall patio area with the plants and scents. It is in the heart of this beautiful medina. The view over the Atlantic and the rooftops from the veranda. This is a very relaxed and beautiful place to be.

I was most impressed with this traditional riad and will certainly be back. Don't be put off by the dark entrance alleys, the area is quite safe and locals friendly. Comfy bed, large room and plenty of hot water. A delicious breakfast was served on the 4th fl terrace overlooking Old media.
Can't think of anything.

The riad is well located and near the old city.
The rooftop view is amazing and I could see a marvelous sunset from there.
The staff was amazing and really accommodating. They did their best to meet my needs ❤️ especially Latifa.
I highly recommend it for your stay in A'sfi

Location inside the Medina and close to the portuguese old cathedral
Never like a room near the reception but they were careful with the noise

This is a surprisingly nice Riad in a quiet corner of the Kasbah off a main shopping alley. It has wonderful views from the roof, where a good breakfast is served. The place is full of character, especially the common parts where you can sit and read. We had a smaller room but the other rooms looked very nice and spacious.
When we were there the Internet did not work or only intermittently for which the owner apologized, so maybe this was incidental. The entrance is a a darkish alley, which at first may feel uncomfortable, but is very safe.

Staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. Ammal and Latifa are a great asset to the Riad, they are always trying to help you in whatever you need.
Rooms on top floor are little uncomfortable, small and with super hard mattresses. Noise and lights from the stairs and courtyards off-on-off-on all night disturb your sleep. Food in the Riad is very expensive for what you get, avoided.

This Riad was a diamond in the rough! It was such a lovely retreat from the hustle & bustle of the Safi Medina. The staff were AMAZING & completely hospitable, to say the least! And the roof top terrace, where our delicious breakfast was served, was the view of ALL VIEWS….SPECTACULAR!!!
Nothing. We parked right out on the Main Street, which might seem a little shady. However, as long as you tip the parking attendant, they will watch your vehicle like hawks & there are absolutely NO WORRIES!

We had an amazing stay with amazing hosts. They helped us that we were able to go to a local hammam, the rooms were really clean and the breakfast was an experience on its own, on top of the Riad with an amazing view.

I love everything about this Riad. The people, the room, the breakfast, the Riad itself. Absolutely stunning.
I can’t think of anything that I would want to change about my stay.

When I arrived in the area by the derb to the riad, and looked a little lost, a bunch of lovely little children said "Are you looking for the Cheval Blanc"? and when i said yes they took me straight there and wouldn't take any money from me ... a refreshing change from the Medina in Marrakech!
The riad has very friendly and helpful staff, who spoke excellent English, Amel took the time to tell me the highlights of the town, which was helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, the whole riad is beautifully furnished and decorated. The rooftop is lovely. Breakfast was very good, my only criticism would be that the coffee could have been stronger for me.
Lovely stay, would definitely recommend it.
