Highly, highly recommended! We've really enjoyed our 7-night stay: the room, the pool, the food, the views and the pension per se. It is also close (15-min walk) to a BEAUTIFUL, virgin beach next to the St. Nicholas Church. The house (+ the surrounding area) gives off Colombian, Latin American vibes due to its architecture and plants❣️. Moreover (one of the best parts), Antonis and his father were extremely nice and welcoming. If you see this message, a big THANK YOU to all of you, including Sophia! Such a great family!
It has definitely exceeded our expectations!! Advice: renting a car/scooter would come in handy in case you want to explore other places.

Loved the pension Skala, the owner and her family were very nice, helpful and professional. Loved the room which was very clean and good size for me and my daughter also a varanda facing the green beautiful area and I could see the sea on the back ground. The beach was 5 minutes walk. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I hope I can go back soon. Marcia
The only thing I didn’t like much was the location because it’s a little far and the taxi is expensive. Plus the road is very narrow.

Lovely rooms, clean and very comfortable. Balconies are also lovely for breakfast.
It's a long drive from Corfu town if going out for a drink.

Pension lead with extraordinary loving care. The house is situated a bit beyond everything but still just a short walk to the sea. Nicely calm place with a lovely garden around. Everything is clean and pleasant, and you can get a small meal at almost any time. Family Sagia is doing everything to make you feel comfortable … great and warm human kindness that for money you cannot buy.

nice and clean appartment with friendly people and almost on the Corfu trail

Great location for walking the Corfu Trail. Only a few hundred metres from the actual route. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, and the family owners/staff very friendly and welcoming. Pension Skala has a restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent supper. As alternative eating venues there a two seaside restaurants just a few hundred yards away.

The staff were very friendly. The apartments are set in beautiful gardens and there is a lovely pool. The food in the on site restaurant is delicious. We would stay again.

Family run, with a very friendly welcome. The mother did the cooking and she was an extremely good chef! The local Corfu red and white wines were good, as was the Mythos beer.
Very close to the Corfu Trail. The sunset views from the garden and balcony were beautiful.

The staff was very welcoming, cozy room, wonderful pool and great food.

Addonis was very welcoming and went out of his way to do anything for us.
The room was cleaned every day and was spotless and we had lovely white fluffy towels
The owner was unpredictable, he was moody when we told him the toilet was leaking and the fridge wouldn’t cool down. We didn’t know from one day to the next if he was going to be in a good mood or bad mood. He seemed controlling towards the staff and unapproachable when he was given any negative feedback.
This is our 2nd visit to these apartments, but we will not come again

Beautiful garden, looks like a real paradise, a lot of effort and work put by the family to look like this !
Great swimmingpool, very clean with sunbeds located in the shadows, under banana trees! Photos don’t show how great the swimming pool and area around it is.
Very comfortable tavern, with tasty food in the front of the Pension. Thank Sophia, her husband and Adonis !
unfortunately we don’t understand the system
of cleaning the Rooms.
We had a feeling that is was OBLIGATORY, even if we simply dont need it.
We had to leave the room, at the time the Lady wanted to clean. It was uncomfortable and stressful with SUCH a small kid who wanted to sleep in the room, or simply we wanted to rest afer the breakfast. There should be an option to signalize on the front of the room- like in the hotels.

Such a beautiful place. We really liked the garden and the pool. Rooms were very clean. The staff was so friendly and had such a positive vibe.
The place is quite far from any stores. There are three restaurants and a beach very close but other than that the nearest store is located 2,5 km away. Recommend renting a car when staying here.

I stayed there one night while doing the Corfu Trail. Such a beautiful little paradise! Perfect for people who are looking for a quite, relaxing and small-scale hotel to stay in a secluded place. The beach is just down the road. The breakfast is to be paid on top of the price of the room, but is well worth it. The restaurant is also open at night.
Nothing.

Lovely room, the food was excellent. It was very busy in the restaurant. Make sure you are on time. Shame we could not use the pool because it rained to much.

Labis, Sophia and Adonis gave us a warm welcome. We arrived as guest and left as friends. The family is putting much time and love in the beautiful hotel. The place is well maintained, situated in a calm area of the island with two beaches close by. From the room, you'll have a beautiful view on the sea, which you'll hear smoothly, when you fall asleep. The garden is a paradise, to sit at the pool is refreshing and quiet. You certainly want to stay forever.
They are doing all service on them own, from breakfast to dinner, including cleaning and are open for requests from their guests and are always friendly. The meals are excellent, the family value local products and buys everything nearby or produce by themselves. Sophia is an excellent chef and knows how to satisfy their guest. Please eat the potato salat, its heaven!
We had a wonderful stay and thank Labis, Sophia and Adonis, who made this relaxing holidays come true.

Went last year by myself and liked it so much I came back with my wife. Possibly the nicest family run place I have stayed in. Simple but clean accommodation, home cooked food, beautiful gardens and overlooking the sea.
Nothing about the property but if you’re on Corfu expect mosquitoes and wasps! It wouldn’t put me off going back though. Note that the location is remote with the nearest shops a few KM away. However it’s quiet location is why we picked it.

The food order took forever to arrive and some of the things on the menu were not very tasty.

Great location, close to the beaches in south corfu, 20-30 min by car. The hotel is renovated, offers spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Good price for the quality. Ideal for quiet holidays. Nice garden and swimming pool.

We loved our stay at this beautiful, tranquil hotel in a part of Corfu that feels a world away from the island's busy resorts. I’d booked just a two-bed room but were put in an apartment, which was a lovely surprise. The whole place was immaculately clean, big and comfortable and the kitchen was wonderfully well equipped with everything you’d need for a long stay with proper cooking. The views from the balcony over the pool and across the sea are beautiful, with astounding sunsets. The pool area is great, with ample sunbeds, a covered area with tables and a raised garden area (our favourite bit) with a hammock. There are beautiful, lush gardens surrounding the whole hotel - massive palms, olive trees, figs, flowering plants - and this is where you sit if you eat in the onsite restaurant, which serves delicious Greek dishes (we particularly loved the sofrito and rabbit stifado). It was great being right next to Paramonas beach (with the balcony door open we could hear the sea at night) which is cute, quiet and clean with a laid-back local/family feel. There are no shops in the immediate vicinity, but the lovely, traditional village of Agios Mattheos is just up the hill with lots of little supermarkets and a couple of great bakeries. We didn’t have a car, but it was an easy (though mostly uphill) 35-minute walk along a well-paved, tree-lined road with very little traffic. It’s a beautiful, peaceful walk in the morning when there’s still lots of shade. We also walked to Prassoudi beach, which is an easy, flat, 30-minute walk from the hotel through olive groves. The family who runs the hotel were wonderful, welcoming hosts - they lent us an umbrella for the beach, offered lots of great tips about where to go next and their son picked us up from the airport for way less than we would have paid for a taxi. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Everything was perfect.

Nice quiet location. 5 mins from beach. Great views from room and run by friendly family.
It’s pretty isolated. A couple of tavernas nearby but the nearest town is 2km uphill. However, it’s quiet location suited me.
