Estancia agradable y con excelente ubicación

El desayuno de buffet muy bueno y variado, además de que la vista desde alberca y restaurante está muy bonita y con buena ventilación para evitar el calor. Las instalaciones están amplias y relativamente bien mantenidas

El estacionamiento está amplio pero descuidado , además de la falta de señaléticas y espacios definidos para optimizar el espacio. La barra de bar está poco surtida y con mala iluminación. Las camas un poco duras.

Overall our stay was relaxing and fun. Hotel is in a great beautiful location.

We did not get breakfast. The buffet quality/taste is very poor. Because of that I found the price incredibly high for the food we got.

Nice hotel

The location, view and gardens are great! We also enjoyed the two pools and the nice spacious rooms, as well as the breakfast buffet.

Overall it is a very nice hotel, and I would stay here again. However, they seemed to have been short-staffed on the day we checked in (Saturday) as many rooms were not available at check-in time (we did get compensated with late check-out), and the service was not great at dinner at the hotel restaurant (and there were not many tables to serve).

the location, room was large and spacious. food was great and amenities also great!

no AC!!! made it very hard to sleep at night! staff was always moody and not very welcoming! I expected customer service to match the facilities image! both at reception, restaurant and bar the customer service can definitely use lots of improvement.

I would like to come back one day

I loved the delicious food and the location and view of the lake. I also liked that there were multiple pools with different tempratures. The gardening was also exceptional.

my personal pool was a little dirty and covered in debris. The pool water also seemed to go down overnight. food was delicious but I'd like for breakfast to be included in the room's price. I almost did't book here simply for not including breakfast.

Beautiful views, hotel needs new management to turn it around.

The restaurant food and staff were quite good. The view from our lakeside room was the best in Ajicjic. However, the distance to the central plaza was not conducive to walking and it was very difficult to find taxis or ubers.

Safe not working, ac not working , patio door not locking. No coffee maker, no mini fridge, and no ice machine. The front desk was unsmiling and it took them a few days to actually become helpful.

The hotel provided us 6 days of safe comfort while we explored Ajijic and the surrounding area

The entire staff was excellent. They cleaned our room daily, provided clean towels and were very friendly. The pool area was well maintained and was an excellent place to relax. The location was great, and was within easy walking distance to the plaza and lake shore. My wife and a guest ate breakfast a few times at the hotel and she said it was delicious with a great choice. It was very quiet and we slept well. My wife slept in but I got up early to go on hikes, and we both felt very safe. The hotel is well managed, clean and well lit. We enjoyed our 6 day stay and definitely will do again.

The grounds were beautiful at this lovely old colonial property in a beautiful neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was advertised as free wi-fi on the whole property, but rarely worked. The rooms were large, but the beds were hard as a rock. The shower heads need cleaning as they sprayed everywhere but on you.

Terrible, incompetent and rude staff.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location and the lakeside view. Other than that amenities are just standard. Parking lot seem to have enough space.

Overall staff service is terrible. Specially those in the restaurant. Not only incompetent but rude. They forget orders, they take A LOT to get dishes served. Breakfast was inclued and still they charged it. There is no manager or supervisor, employees act on their own, they seem to be coluded to take advantage of guests. Rooms are tacky, they lack of basic items like coffee maker or hair dryer and shower water won't be hot but warm.

the grounds and the pools, big rooms and an old feel from the 1960s

breakfast did not start early enough so I never had breakfast there even though I stayed a week, the window locks were broke in my room and you could hear TV and noise through the room walls

The staff was very nice. The pools were clean and refreshing. The beds were comfortable.The grounds were well cared for.

The poolside chaises had a lot of bird poop on them. The hotel needs an upgrade. For example the curtains in our room were difficult to open and close and they were in disrepair.

24 hours at a beautiful location.

location, view and facilities. it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

My only complaint was that some of the restaurant staff were slow to respond. I did not feel like their 1st priority.

Billed as a luxury resort, but with less amenities than an average 3 star

Breakfast was good. Drinks were good. Park-like setting on Lake Chapala was superb. Location was good with reasonable walking distance and access to Ajijic.

It’s not representative of a luxury resort: no fridge, coffee maker, mugs or drinking glasses, no room service, no hair dryer. Very tired and old decor. Black mildew all around shower. No English speaking hospitality/front desk staff. Piles of dirty towels left in hallway. Very dark room.

Best overview of Lake Chapala. Delicious Sunday morning brunch. And all staff is very attentive.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for years, but this year I had to rate them a little lower due to black mold in the showers. A little bleach is needed. I don’t know why the maids don’t take care of that daily. All the guests spend hours around the pool and on the poolside chairs….so why isn’t someone assigned to clean the bird crap off the chairs and the railings? Not acceptable!
