Hyggelig personale , på tilbudssiden. Internasjonalt preg. Interiøret bærer preg av ambisjoner om det lille ekstra i mange henseender. Passe økologisk og ressursbevossthet. Kreativ borddekking med velt på detaljer

Det var noe klang i frokostrommet. Når en sitter på et bestemt sted midt i, overdøves en noe av medgjester.

Very nice, vacation home feeling with great amenities. We couldn't stay long but would love to go back.

I do wish the hot tub was open we were looking forward to relaxing in there for a while. Also wish the sauna wasn't an additional charge.

Perfect strop over with nice location by the river. Nice

The area is fantastic and very well organised. The house was very clean and the kitchen well equipped. We stayed in the two story house, which was a little bit tricky as we had a dog with us. Fishing was good and the fire places on the back yard was a nice touch.

We didn’t eat as it was a bit pricy, but orders two freshly cinnamon buns to go the day after. Superb!!

The best place to unwind

Amazing property! We rented a cabin for two nights and loved our stay. There was everything we needed in the house. The location is also very convenient for cross-country skiing or walks. I highly recommend booking a sauna in advance. It comes at an extra cost but is totally worth it.

Nice place to relax and visit national parks in central Norway

Helpful and friendly staff, great cabins, quiet, nice surroundings. Good location in Rondane National Park, 1h by car to Dovrefjell–Sunndalsfjella, 1,5h to Jotunheimen National Park. Owners help to organise attractions. It was very warm in the cabin, despite low temperatures outside!

Luxury cottage,it’s very new,everything inside the house are very good in quality from the wood building,mattress to sofa to kitchen appliances.It’s the best cottage we ever experience so far.

Do house keeping ourselves before leaving or pay for cleaning fee.

Loveliest hosts

The owners were so nice and interesting, they truly make this place worth it. The couple is working beautifully together. The diner was one of the best diners we've had in Norway, she is a great cook and was very mindful of our dietary restrictions. We were able to enjoy the fireplace after diner, so relaxing. Breakfast by the fireplace was great too.

The room itself isn't the greatest and could use a little make over, maybe some more pillows. But the rest of the stay was so nice we were really happy to stay there.

Traditional stay in a gorgeous area.

The location was amazing, right next to a gorgeous river, safe parking for my bike, very friendly staff and all nice and clean. The main building was a traditional property and there are lodges in the grounds for guests too. The evening meal was a set menu as was the breakfast and it was very good indeed. We liked it here a lot, if you had your own food you could have it outside on one of the barbecue areas.

The bathroom was a little cramped but that`s all.

Nice people with great tips. The room was clean and super comfortable with a boxspring in the cabin. Got a faint glow from the Northern lights. Would definitely come back some day for more than one day.

Nature camping feel in real comfort

Great environment in the middle of nature. Very nice kids features such as the trampoline. The exterior firewood are a must and definitely enhance the nights.

Incredible hospitality and wonderful food and accommodations in a natural setting

Everything was wonderful: The owners greeted us with friendly hospitality and moved between several languages effortlessly when speaking to various guests. Clearly they love what they do, especially guiding guests to the best hiking, etc. or taking them on guided hikes. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing: fresh local food plated with aesthetic details. The breakfast was made to your liking with all kinds of choices. The dining room had long tables to share meals with another group or two and we shared ours with a friendly couple from Germany. The biggest test of the whole stay at Rondane River Lodge: our teenagers did not want to leave!

Nothing really. However, I am a picky sleeper in my middle age and prefer a few pillows. I am like the princess and the pea—goose down and soft is my pillow at home—given this, perhaps a couple more pillows for us might have helped. Of course, I did not ask for this, so they probably had some available.

Fantastic stay to recharge your battery with the nature.

I stayed here only two nights, but definitely will back for longer next time. The staff are welcoming, food is delicious. Dinner is absolutely delicious and made as in Michelin ⭐️ ⭐️ restaurant. The owner offers a lot of activities in the nature, so you definitely will have what to do.

Incredible place and food

The owners were super helpful and friendly and gave us good tips on what to do around the area. The food was incredible. The breakfast one could select the night before and it was ready at the given time. The dinner was a 3 course meal and really delicious. We would recommend to have the dinner there. It is a lovely place in a beautiful area in Norway.

The room and bathroom were quite small, but didn't bother us too much.

Very cozy house with a fireplace. Nice living room in the main house, delicious dinner (paid extra for this), very helpful staff, board games. Nature.

the cabin is perfect and super cozy

since covid the need to bring your own bedsheets is uncomfortable, otherwise you have to pay for them.To that you add the cleaning fee, if you don't want to do it yourself. All these rise the price of the cabin to the price of a hotel room where you have all that included.
