Superb

We stayed only one night, but the place completely met our expectations. The staff was very nice. On site possibility to buy food and beer. Free, large parking space. Good spot to move further to Czech Switzerland.

Best staff ever!

Great location within the park, we went hiking a lot on trails that begin right next to the pension! The area is calm and quiet and the place is cozy, clean, comfortable and pleasant. The staff was INCREDIBLE, helped us with everything and really went above and beyond! We’re vegan and vegetarian, they really made an effort to adjust the food to us (although don’t expect lentils or tofu, it’s still the country area). We loved it and really felt at home. Wi-Fi was really good too!

The only thing was that the water for the shower wasn’t very hot, but they were good enough for shower (and they made it better when we asked them to). Perhaps in the summer is better, we were there in February. A little hard to reach without a car, there’s a bus from Decin but it’s a bit tricky to catch. Still totally worth it if you want to hike in the Bohemian Switzerland Park because it’s within the park and near the trails.

Wonderful, idilic cottage in a beautiful surrounding

Accommodation was extremely idilic in a beautiful place! I loved the small town atmosphere and coziness! Hostes was so kind and treated us with lunch and also a delicious dinner after a hike. Breakfast was exceptionally tasty and made just for us!

Location is maybe just a bit inconvenient if you travel with public transport. There is a bus (432), but it is quite irregular and depending on a route can take an hour to get there from Dečin (which is only 14km away)

Excellent place

Excellent place to stay in Bohemian Switzerland. Clean and comfortable rooms, there is everything you need, even a hairdryer. Very good buffet breakfast, I’m sure everyone can find something that he/she likes: eggs, sausages, pancakes, cheese and ham, porridge, cornflakes, tea, coffee, juice and many more. Closed parking on the site – it felt very safe to leave car and bike there, I didn’t worry at all. Huge garden to relax in the evening after a long day. Very nice owner and staff. You can also enjoy a home-made meal in the evening – borsch and pelmeni (dumplings) were delicious.

Comfortable place to stay and work a bit

Room was super clean and bright and there was plenty of space to use. Bed very comfortable and fresh, some space to work comfortably, clean private bathroom. Freshly cooked breakfast in the morning, coffee and tea for free, beer available for very reasonable price. There is also a huge private garden with hammock you can use as you wish. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful, great area to rest.

Common toilets downstairs could have been cleaner.

Nice family owned guesthouse. Very good location, excellent breakfast, cozy rooms, secure parking. You have the option to order some fresh home cooked meals upon arrival for a fair price.

Disappointing

The property is close to the parking lot where hiking roots start.

Because of a sloped ceiling above the bed, you bumb your head when gets up during the night. Poor facilities, just one small piece of soap for two people in the room. Breakfast was also not great, below basic standards.

Great place

Breakfast was really good. The owner is super kind and he helped us prepare grill for the two of us only! All the staff was nice, room was clean and comfy, the location and views amazing. Pleace where you can feel a really family atmosphere.

The staff was amazing, they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. In the evening we had opportunity to eat barbecue on the terrace. Room was nice and clean, and we liked fresh homemade-style breakfast as well.

Very nice and calm atmosphere, huge garden, comfortable and clean rooms, delicious pancakes for breakfast:) Closed parking, WI-FI, grill facilities, tea and coffee are offered to guests anytime free of charge. A lot of outdoor activities, many popular hiking and bike trails are available in the neighborhood. Perfect place to escape the city and relax.

Great stay!

I liked the silence at night, as this hotel is located in very quiet area . Parking at the site and it is free. They have a small restaurant in the hotel, so the is no need to go out and look for food. Very quiet area indeed! Owner struggled with english a little bit, but no worries! You will get all you need! Very close to Hrensko, but in same time much cheaper to stay in there than in Hrensko

Nice and welcoming atmosphere in the guest house. Free closed parking and good free WI-FI, you will have everything you need and the staff is always ready to do extra for you if possible, just ask them (for example I asked for extra towel - no problem with that). As it was still low season, the most convenient option was to eat in the guest house - the cook prepared some delicious Ukrainian dumplings (pelmeni and vareniki) - it is a nice option to try something new. A lot of grill equipment is available in the guest house - a great option for warmer season.

Lodge is not worth the money

The location is not far from hiking spots in the national park.

The lodge was supposed to have a sofa bed, that was just not true. The sofa could not be used for sleeping. Also only really tiny towels, no shampoo or shower gel. No toilet door, just a flimsy slider. The whole lodge looked crummy, bare walls and old furniture. Not worth the money.

Very good location. Walking and biking trails are within walking distance. Free parking in the fenced area. Very beautiful nature, clean air, clean water. The staff is attentive and very helpful. Cozy bright rooms. Good wi-fi. Hearty breakfasts. Great price-quality ratio. We were very pleased.
