The owner Catherine was so lovely nothing was to much trouble. Everything was very clean.

Breakfast was excellent. About a 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants.

It would have been nice if there was a garden for sitting in but there is a nice park over the road.

it was in a good position for where we like to visit in the Lake District

Perfect place to stay

Beautiful guest house, very clean, breakfast was amazing and set you up for the day, rooms serviced daily if you want that, prime location close to lake, shops, excellent restaurants I would book beforehand though, will definitely be returning to Beechwood soon

Fabulous place to stay

Everything brilliant at Beechwood. The location is an excellent base for walking to both Windermere and Bowness. The rooms are excellent, both very clean and comfortable. The people are absolutely lovely. Will definitely be staying again.

Very nice hotel which was clean and tidy only a short stroll to the Lake.

Breakfast was lovely, The hotel its self was very clean and tidy and in a great location for the town /lake. The landlady was very pleasant and engaged in conversation with the guests.

Limited parking was a slight pain but the local streets have no parking restrictions and I had no problems getting parked close to the hotel.

Spacious and clean rooms, excellent breakfast and superb hosts!

This is probably the best B&B I've ever been to. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was excellent, and most importantly the hosts are super nice and accommodating. They gave me great recommendations, helped me plan my hikes around the area, and offered me coffee after my checkout when I had to wait a few extra hours before I could keep on, among many other things. I'm sure to book with them again when I'm back in the area.
