Wonderful hosts, wonderful place and environment, everything you need is there, close to the beach, clean environment. The hosts organized a fishing trip which was incredible. I recommend it

Lovely hosts-very communicative, helpful, and friendly. the location was also great-within walking distance to Bel Ombré beach. There were also a few restaurants around the corner.

Excellent base from which to explore Mauritius – Preeti our host made us feel very welcome indeed.

Nice big room with large comfortable double bed, dining table and kitchen area. Separate bathroom with shower (loads of hot water) and washing machine. Small patio outside with table and chairs – we used for breakfasting. Off-road parking in drive of owner's house. Preeti, our host, was extremely friendly and welcoming, and she and her husband made great suggestions of things to see and do in Mauritius. Bel Ombre is off the main tourist track but has a superb public beach and is a great place from which to explore the island.

This is not luxury accommodation, but clean basic stuff at a very good price. We were there in mid-April and at times it was hot and humid. There is adequate aircon (if you like that sort of thing) and a big fan in the room to keep the air moving. Watch out for the mosquitos at that time of year (not just here, but everywhere you go!)

a perfect stay with perfect hosts !

Location is great, the flat has all you need, all worked perfect Host are very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed 2 wonderful day trips, Thanks a lot again !

It’s a good place for the price. The owners were very caring and nice.

It was close to some of the restaurants and the beach. The stuff in the apartment was clean and comfortable.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work for our laptops but the owners helped us immediately so there wasn’t any problems later on.

Lovely quiet apartment giving a sense of Mauritian life away from the resorts

Prior to arrival I had good communication with Preeti and had a good idea what to expect. Our apartment was very spacious with a large bathroom that also contained a washing machine, which was very handy. The beach was only a few minutes away and close by are two restaurants (both excellent) meaning we didn't have to worry about where to eat in the evening. Preeti and her family were very helpful in providing us with recommendations as to where to go and, when there was a problem with the washing machine fixed it immediately. They also arranged a taxi for us for a day's tour and transfer to the airport, which really helped. We had a table and chairs outside our apartment and were able to enjoy having breakfast there watching the birds and flowers. We had a really relaxing stay and would one day like to return.

Other than the issue with the washing machine, which was fixed immediately our stay was lovely. It should be noted that facilities are a little limited in the area, as mentioned two restaurants were open in the evening and two small shops are close by.

A good place near of beach

The flat is very clean and comfort. Host are very nice and give lot of information. Some convenience stores around the flat. Beach are in 30s of walk. Beautifull beach Neighbourhood quiet and nice :) We recommand this flat ! Thanks Preeti :D

Great place to stay

All what you need is in the apartment

Preeti and her husband are an awesome hosts and the apartment is a great value for money. They gave us many tips on what to visit during our stay with all the details. The location is quite close to the beach and some other resorts (in case you want to spend the day there). It has a couple of restaurant nearby which are good (Le tropical). 100% recommended!

Perfect

We were satisfied with everything. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. After arrival the owner prepared us a plan of interesting places to visit in southern part of island. On our last day Pretty prepared us a tasteful authentic dinner. 5 minutes walk is a public beach and also a wonderful Beach Club with sun-beds to hire.
