Easy walk to all things Oxford

Well appointed apartment within easy walking distance of all things Oxford.

The flooring creaks a lot which is ok except when you are trying not to disturb each other at night.

Exceptional

Luigi was a great host, explained everything and gave lots of tips about the city... The apartment has a great localization in a calm neighborhood close to the river Thames. The bus stop where I left the airport bus was in a walking distance of 5 min...., Also the Christchurch Collegue, some museums, shops and pubs very close....

Nice relaxing stay in Oxford - one of the cleanest apartments I have stayed in Oxford

Very nice location, just south of the city centre - easy walk into town and about 20 mins to the station. Easy access to the river, which is great for those who love to run or go for long walks. Apartment had everything that you need. It is true that the host is very particular about the apartment, and therefore has certain rules, but for someone like me who puts cleanliness above all else, I appreciate that he does this - it ensures the place is in top clean and good condition. It was a comfortable size apartment for myself and guest. Make sure you do read the information about the do's and do not's of the apartment so as not to be surprised. As other's have said, there is a request for £200 deposit - when you check in. Returned once you check out.

Never felt so unwelcome in my life.

Very clean

Check in with Luigi was tedious, so many rules! It's like he's doing us a favor letting us pay too much for staying in his small apartment. And then we realized I made a mistake while booking regarding the age of my son. I already agreed to pay extra but Luigi insisted on making it extremely clear it was my fault, with a lot of "I'm the owner so I know the rules" going on, and one "You can't sleep the three of you in the same bed because I don't allow it". Made us feel very unwelcome and very uncomfortable. After that, it doesn't matter how clean the place is.

A gem near the heart of Oxford

Location just a short walk to the city centre was excellent. Nice, clean, well-equipped flat —ideal for a short stay. Added bonus — unusual in Oxford - was parking at the property.

Friendly host in a well located neighborhood (check-in process could be made easier).

Cleanliness and location.

The owner certainly has his reasons, however, I found the guarantee deposit very annoying. Even though the owner WhatsApp'd me ahead of time, I spent 20 minutes looking for an ATM prior to arrival. Would prefer using a more user friendly option such as a credit card or a payment (i.e. Revolut). Never experienced this before despite traveling extensibly.

Perfect location, wonderful apartment and gracious hosts.

The location was perfect to visit the city of Oxford and the University. It was a very short walk on the lovely tow path to reach the main road through town. the owners were gracious enough to allow us to store luggage after checkout time so we could take a tour.

Wonderful!

Complete amenities, comfortable beds and beddings, nice location.

Initially intimidating as we were welcomed with rules - no shoes in the house, luggage cannot be rolled on the floor - but we understand host’s concern. we were just taken aback at first as there was no mention of thess rules when we booked. may be good to mention ahead of arrival so guest will not be surprised by these policies.

a perfect short stay in Oxford, with flexibility, parking and comfort that wouldn’t be found in an hotel.

the property was perfect for a city stay, with free off street parking. just a few minutes walk into the city and a brilliant restaurant, the folly on folly bridge. the host was extremely helpful and friendly, with lots of recommendations. the property was exceptionally clean and all needs were well catered for. there was ample hot water and the heating was excellent.

there was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Marvelous flat in great location

We stayed at La Casetta d'Aneu for a week, visiting our daughter in Oxford. We had a great time, and we enjoyed our place and the brilliant location so much! Service was great according to our welcome and concerning our departure, the landlord was so kind to offer a time which was extremely convenient for us. That was so nice and friendly. The flat was very well equipped with everything one could wish for cooking, but we didn't need for we went out every evening (great location, there a good restaurants in the area), the bed was very very comfy so we slept well and everything was spotlessly clean. Another important point was that parking free of charge behind the house was offered, as this can really be a problem in Oxford. So we were happy to leave our car, didn't use it once in this week, everything worth seeing was within walking distance. We highly recommend La Casetta d'Aneau and certainly will come back.

All you need

Owner was very friendly and helpfull,location good on quiet street near river,short walk to nearby bar and restuarant,10 mins walk to centre.Parking is free at rear of apartment,which is a bonus.Apartment has all you need for your stay !

A great base for exploring the centre with everything we needed for a comfortable family stay.

Fantastic location a short, pleasant, stroll along the river from the city centre. Great facilities to accommodate and be able to cook for our family of 4. Very clean and nothing too much trouble for our host. Little touches like access to Netflix and a free parking space meant we could really relax during our short break away and easily explore the city at our pleasure.

Location was key

Location was 10 mins walk into Oxford so perfect. Luigi was a great host. The place was spotlessly clean.

Mattress was very firm and not comfortable. There needs to be a blind on the kitchen window as there is no door on the kitchen or the hall. Didn't like the rules of removing shoes before entering, maybe they should've put a more durable flooring in the entrance hall to avoid this!

The apartment was exquisitely clean and very well equipped. Luigi met us, showed us around and was easy to contact if we needed anything. A five-minute walk from University Parks, it really was exactly what we hoped for

Lovely stay, great hosts and very local which was important.

Location was excellent. Host was very helpful and friendly. My mother uses a walker and she could access the town very easily from this property. Flat was beautifully clean and looks great

The sofa bed was not that comfortable.

Very pleasant stay near the centre with a car park

Luigi greeted Our family of 4 and we stayed there for 3 nights, it was an easy access to the city centre (walking distance), very clean and comfortable overall, flat was equiped with everything, safety distance while checking in/out (mask worn), car park secured free of charge which was excellent

noise at night coming out from neighbours and communal space in the block of flats but thats nothing which Luigi can have an impact on unfortunately

Nice apartment in convenient location with free parking

Great location - around 15 minutes walk into Central Oxford Free parking - such a bonus in Oxford (and the owner would have allowed us to leave the car for the rest of the day after check out) Luigi, the owner, was professional. friendly and helpful. Prompt refund of security deposit Spotlessly clean, well-appointed apartment in a quiet neighbourhood with Covid-secure check in and check out

The bed was reasonably comfortable, although the mattress was a little harder than we are used to. The bathroom was rather small and congested - probably not ideal for visitors with mobility issues. A non-slip bath mat would have been helpful.

Apartment very convenient, and Luigi was was helpful.

The location was 2 minutes from the Folly Bridge, very very convenient to walk into town, Christ Church being the first of the main attractions one gets to. Luigi, the owner, lives very close, so a phone call on arrival and the keys and a quick review of facilities were made, and Luigi was very friendly with helpful information. The accommodation was stocked with drinks and snacks, so a deposit was taken, and quickly returned on departure. Car parking was made available for me on request, excellent.

Personal preference is for a walk in shower, the apartment had a bath with shower, so might not suit less agile customers.

Brilliant - thoroughly recommend

Amazing location in the heart of Oxford, walking to the river in seconds and 10 minutes to the city centre amenities, shopping, and colleges. Free parking on site, with a super friendly and helpful host - nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is squeaky clean, very comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need for the family. Perfect for long or short stays in Oxford.

Very clean and well equipped. Free parking was a bonus and its location close to the city centre was convenient. The host is very friendly and covid precautions were reassuring.

There was no river view as implied in the listing.

Fabulous cosy flat near the centre of Oxford!

Lovely flat easy walk into main part of Oxford city centre. Luigi was very welcoming and check in/out done with covid safety in mind. The flat was warm and very well equipped with everything you could need and the bonus of a free parking space -can highly recommend.
