Bed was noisy.

Unusual hotel with all the different buildings. Nice touches to the decor.
On our third morning we had to ask the proprietor if anyone services the rooms daily? No one had emptied the bins or checked the towels. She said yes, they do it every day. So that day they did. We stayed there 6 nights but the room was only serviced twice! Another staff member told me that they are not cleaned every day, that it was a mistake. We have family living in the area but would not stay at this hotel again.

Very comfortable accommodation. Excellent dinner and breakfast with friendly service. Easy access and free parking. This is a unique hotel with many personal touches to rooms and outdoor seating for coffee and wines - we loved the big four poster bed.

This is the friendly and quiet place to stay if you want to avoid the crowds at Legoland, which is only a pleasant drive away. The rooms are spacious with very comfy beds, we loved the excellent breakfast and had a lovely dinner at their restaurant. Staff is extremely nice and helpful.
4.5
Boutique feel with loving attention to detail evident throughout the apartment. Good location, restaurant, facilities, close to shops, easy parking.
Had some allergies triggered by dust in the loft/ upper levels of attic. A lot of dust on top of the beams in the ceiling which look difficult to clean.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and it’s a great location for driving to the west coast (the North Sea)
It’s about half way on E 20 between Esbjerg and Kolding .

features in the rooms, waffle machine for breakfast
not great if you are disabled as lots of stairs in buildings.

Nice hotel with personality, boutique flavor.
Ran out of hot water in the shower. Not very vegan friendly breakfast.

lovely hotel that feels like home. The room was clean, big and nicely furnished. Breakfast was great, lots of options (and a waffle maker!!). The owners were lovely and despite being busy, we’re happy to have a chat. Ideally located to visit Ribe and Fanø

Very spacious and unique rooms, excellent breakfast, good service from the owners.
The acoustics in the dinner restaurant were terrible when it was filled by a large group of people.

They provided us with the Free Electric charger for Car.
Not enough crockeries for 4 guests in the kitchen.

Easy check in and out
Friendly staff
This place has a touch of magical charm to it, with its cozyness and the antique wooden interior. It’s a real beauty for the eye and you don’t wanna miss out.
I had an important meeting the next day, and I am a light sleeper. It was super silent in the room which I highly value not to mention the cleanliness. I have high expectations when it comes to cleanliness and this place has met them. I am very pleased and will definitely return for pleasure this time!

The apartment we had ('Hemingway') was spacious, and all necessary functions (sleep, cook, bath/shower, sit) were available.
The apartment we had ('Hemingway') was in bad need for overall renewal. The apartment was dark inside and almost everything was worn out : kitchen, sitting room, bedrooms, furniture.
We missed a decent table for eating (besides the ok breakfast corner).
We think that the price for breakfast is exaggerated for a small provincial town.
When we indicated to the owner that we saw an ugly insect jumping away when lifting a mattress, the lighthearted answer sounded like 'nothing to worry about'.
We would not come back here.

Our stay at Boutique Hotel Postgården was enjoyable enough on its own, but Bjarne & Suzette made our stay even that much more enjoyable- we arrived late and didn't think about the fact that there might be nothing open, so they made us delicious late-night snacks upon request, they brought us champagne with chocolate-covered strawberries on our wedding night (Suzette is a sommelier and made sure to pair everything perfectly!) and they were so personably, friendly and helpful throughout. Not to mention, the breakfast was SO good. We really enjoyed our stay here in the Danish countryside. Even though there is not tooooo much to do in Holsted itself, there is plenty in the surrounding areas and we were looking forward to coming home to our thoughtfully decorated little hideaway every night. Every corner of every room really does tell a story and you can tell that Suzette and Bjarne have put their hearts, their impeccable taste, and their personalities into the styling of this hotel- and it looks great. Fun little side note: the hotel is eclectically decorated with pieces purchased from around the globe! It was so cozy, cool, and beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! We looked at all of the hotels in the surrounding areas and this is by far the absolute best. We can highly recommend staying at this hotel!! Make sure to have a chat with Bjarne about how the hotel came to be while you enjoy your breakfast :).
