Excellent location at center of town, beautiful view, helpful staff
Must pay for parking 10 euro per day
5.0 / 5.0
Lets begin from the time we checked in, Filippo at the front desk was amazing, helpful and professional. He made sure that our stay from the start till the end was well perfect. He gave all the much needed information about Baja Sardinia as a whole and important tips about Porto Cervo. For us Filippo would be the star employee of Punta Est.
I would also like to mention Bartender Ricardo at the pool bar who does amazing cocktails by making sure it is to our liking. We thoroughly enjoyed every cocktail he curated for us.
The property is right next to the most pristine beach and many beautiful restaurants and bars. While taxis are expensive in this region, Hotel Punta Est was located in such an amazing location where we just walked to the most famous beach club Phi beach (18 mins walk) and Rituals Club (around 15 mins walk). There is a grocery close by which again allowed us to stock up snacks when needed. There is a information desk close by too where Valerie was of great help.
The room view was mesmerizing with giant granitoid rocks and sea view around the corner. Rooms were spacious, airy and well lit. I would say this property looks even more better than the pictures on Booking.com. We were really amazed with our stay and would go here again if in Baja Sardinia.
Breakfast was alright and could have more options.

It’s a nice family hotel with a good location. The area around is full of cozy restaurants and bars!
We booked Double Room with Sea View and the view was spectacular… especially in the morning!!!
The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us, and always willing to help. By the time we arrived, we had our room already equipped with a baby crib. Also, because we came late and had to put our baby to sleep, we weren’t able to go and have a dinner, but the staff managed to help us with that providing a room service in a very quick manner!
The parking is available on site.
Even though the parking is available you have to pay extra.
The breakfast was good, but it would be nice to have a different options at least every couple of days:)

Fantastic view of the bay at Baja, pretty quiet
Not enough sun beds and needs more umbrella’s per two beds, not really a la carte as I understand and no tea/coffee making facilities in your room

Excelente ubicación. Playa y restaurantes cerca. Habitaciones limpias. Personal muy amable y atento sobre todo en el restaurante.
Las toallas de la pileta cobran €5 cada vez que quieras. Me parece un poco exagerado.

Location and f&b staff & night receptionist
Rooms were dirty : no towels upon arrival.
Housekeeping entered room at 8:15 am without knocking
Jessica from reception was not welcoming and didn’t meet guest expectations and acted in a non-professional manner throughout the entire stay.

Hotel Punta Est is a very welcoming place. it's location is superb, with just a 200 meter walk to the Cala Battistoni Beach, and all the amenities, bars and restaurants in Baja Sardinia. The Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with a varied selection of food to choose from, with excellent service from the staff. We had a hired car that we were able to park in the Hotel grounds, at no cost to us. I would definitely recommend this Hotel for anyone looking for a very comfortable, intimate place, with good staff and a prime location.

Breakfast was amazing and all the staff helping were very friendly and helpful with our children. The hotel is really lovely. A very good sized pool and great location to the beach. The ocean view rooms are wonderful especially from the 2nd level and up.
Unfortunately the family room we had booked was given to another family so we were given ocean view rooms instead. This was nice though as a family I would recommend phoning ahead and confirming if you have little ones and want to make sure you are all together.

The initial mix-up with rooms was rectified very quickly and painlessly, everyone we encountered from the reception, to the bar, breakfast area and cleaners were more than helpful and friendly apart from one abrupt man in a jacket at reception.
Roberto, Guiseppe, Alessandro, and Jessica were the only names I caught and all deserve recognition.

Location and view
Lack of gym and sauna etc, plus we tried for 2 days to get an Iron to press my wife’s dresses before going out at night. It turned out they only had one, always with another guest, and they didn’t know whom, so never able to press the clothes. Also the lack of more healthy choices like fresh pressed juices for breakfast, considering the price.

- great view of the sea
- very friendly personal
- parking option
- great location in the center
- advertisement vs. reallity - did not meet our expectations
- noisy, due bad sound insulation
- very noisy hairdryer in the bathroom

Great location
Pictures made the property look better than it did in real
life, the rooms are dated but do feel traditional, the food really lets this place down though - worst we tasted whilst travelling Sardinia unfortunately.

Nice location, beach near, layout of hotel facilities very nice, staff pleasant & helpful. breakfast was very nice, with a lot of choice. Before going there I read some negative comments about the breakfast, I really can’t imagine why. Just generally a feel good factor around the hotel.
can’t think of anything

The location was perfect as the beach was less than a 5 minute walk. The restaurants and bars were also decent.
There was no iron available - they did have a laundry service but that's unnecessary when you just need to fix wrinkled clothing. It seems like that should be pretty standard at a hotel considering people are living out of suitcases. Other than that the hotel was good.

Our beds were a bit in comfy and room a bit dates

Our family have had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We stayed in the villa behind the hotel and it was impecably clean with plenty of space for us all.
Breakfast was a mix of continental with eggs, bacon and on occassion sausage. The breakfast staff were efficient and extremely friendly.
The pool and pool bar area are perfect and can easily pass the day relaxing here. The pool bar was very reasonably priced for the area.
A special thanks to Thomas/Tomas at front desk, a lovely lady at the front desk who's name i didnt catch and Ricardo at the pool bar (forza milan!), their service was incredible and a credit to the hotel. However every member of staff we met had a fantastic attitude.
We look forward to our next stay in the future!

The location was good.
The reception area was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful and accommodating to all of our questions and requests,
The beds were so bad. They were 2 single fold away beds to make a large bed. My back hurt so much, I left our stay feeling unrested and in pain.
The hotel charged us to use the pool towels which is unacceptable especially for the rates paid at this hotel. The shower was tiny, you can’t turn in it. The walls are so thin we could hear the Neighbour in the next room snoring and when people come home late at night you hear them laughing and talking through the corridors like they are in your hotel room.

We spent one week in Punta Est as a family. Its a lovely hotel and the whole personell is very friendly and helpful. The crew from the reception tries to fulfill your wishes, helps in organizing boat trips or whatever activity you want to do. Its very close to the beach too and a nice an clean pool !! relaxing holiday!! 😃😎

This is my third time at this hotel. Great value for money with breakfast and dinner included. If you stay opt for a sea view room it is amazing to wake up and look at the sea.
The central location means that if you take a taxi from the airport you don't need a car as beach is 3 mins walk as are many restaurants and shops.
Was pleased with everything!!

The location was walking distance to the town. What I liked most about the property was the staff-Marzia and Thomas at the front desk were professional, friendly, helpful and very nice.
Their chefs cooked some of the most delicious fish meals at dinner. The waiters all professional and attentive
The place needs some maintenance-the rugs in the hallways need to be either removed or deeply cleaned as there are many stains throughout. Painting in areas where there is some mold spots.
I asked for a rubber mat in the bathtub since I take showers and it was very slippery but I never received one and risked falling more than once when getting out of the tub.
4.3 / 5.0
Mattresses were very old and food was terrible.
