Beautiful and comfortable stay - would recommend.

Beautifully styled and welcoming. Easy to find. Staff available and friendly.

Noisy floorboards, but I understand it’s a Victorian house and maybe it’s part of its charm.

A lovely, friendly place to stay when visiting friends and relatives.

Continental breakfast as expected, plenty of variety including dairy and gluten free options. Nice tea and coffee. Room was nice, outside space very welcoming, breakfast room nice. Homely feel to the place, rather than stark modern hotel. Lovely chat with the owner and great to support a local business rather than a big chain.

Not a didn't like, but a suggestion for the family room: one less bright lamp or night light would be useful for children who are scared of the complete dark. Probably would have provided given the opportunity, but we arrived back to our room very late.

Your doing great, keep up the good work on your lovely hotel.

I loved the quirky, unique decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfy so had a great sleep. We upgraded our breakfast which was superb and definitely needed.

There wasn't alot we didn't like to be honest, just couple of minor details that's all, The shower in our room was abit temperamental so may need adjusting. We had a stand in mantal piece in our room which was very wobbly as wasn't fixed in place.

Lovely welcoming host, lovely guest house. Stayed in the annex round the back with private parking.

The skylight/roof window on double room needs a new blind asap. It woke me up multiple times as it’s light so early and felt like the bedroom light was left on, and a feather duster wouldn’t go a miss

Pleasant & Comfy

I stayed a further night, but moved to another room, which was very pleasant. Comfy bed, TV & drink facilities, even a small fridge. Staff were lovely & helpful. There is parking out front. Overall a nice place to stay.

Shower room needs upgrading. Could smell kitchen cooking in room. No hairdryer. These weren't major concerns though & easily rectifiable.

Fabulous Little Gem

Baytree is a quirky, lovely styled guest house, beautifully decorated with a warm welcoming atmosphere. The owner & staff are very friendly & accommodating. As a solo traveller, I felt very comfortable. The hotel is a stones throw from the beach & large park in a lovely leafy quiet area of Lowestoft. I really enjoyed the continental breakfast & choice of foods. I will definitely rebook.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The hotel needs a few minor repairs & I didn't have a hairdryer, but this is just being picky & the owner certainly doesn't deserve negative comments!

walls where slightly thin could hear guests coming in and out the door and talking which is fine just made it harder to fall asleep and woke up my toddler a few times

The owner of this place is amazing. Food fantastic.

There wasn't good lighting but the owner sorted out what she could and was lovely about it.

Lovely home away from home

What a home away from home! I would highly recommend Baytree House. Beautiful eating area with a pod and bar area at the front as you walk in. Beautifully decorated throughout with lovely positive messages written on the walls, makes you feel good. We stayed in the luxury family room and it was lovely and cosy. Had everything we needed. It didn't feel like a hotel it was so nice. The staff are so warm and welcoming. The breakfast is lovely and we had a lot of choice (make sure you upgrade to get the salmon and egg!). Oh and the children loved looking at the fishes in the garden.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and all my dietary requirements were met.

The room was a little bit noisy on the first night.

Great overnighter

The staff were great and welcoming, our room was spacious and I liked all the added extras. The cooked breakfast was also very good. I would definitely recommend.

Just that my husband didn't sleep very well on the small double bed as his legs were longer than the bed. The shower was poor in the morning, it was hard to get soap of your body but the night before it was fine.

Very highly recommended

Our double room was spacious and luxurious. We were offered homemade breads and jams with out breakfast. We spent a very pleasant few hours in the pretty and sunny outside seated area with bar. A very warm welcome from friendly pugs (and staff). A delicious home cooked, great value, jerk chicken meal.

Could have done with more tea bags in our room. The dogs were a bit too present while we were eating.

A beautiful place - I only had a short stay so wish I could have stayed longer. everyone was really helpful and accommodating to my needs.

I would have preferred a shower rather than a bath but it was an amazing bath so not a complaint !
