Bref, un sentiment plutôt mitigé compte tendu du tarif et du nombre d’étoiles affichées de l’hôtel.

A la fin du premier jour j'aurais accordé 10/10. L'accueil à la réception a été impeccable et l'ambiance générale laissait une excellente impression. Néanmoins, nous avons séjourné en famille trois jours à l’Hôtel Capelongue. Nous avons été désolés de constater qu’il y avait une un évident contraste entre la cadre Provençal magnifique, le restaurant étoilé, la qualité et la surface de la suite que nous avons louée et la dotation d’une part, et le comportement d’une partie du personnel d’autre part.

Malgré une literie de qualité, nous avons mal dormi en raison du bruit nocturne, très pénible, fait par des employés dans des locaux de stockage qui avoisinaient notre suite. Nous l’avions signalé après la première nuit, mais sans effet. Le ménage n’a pas été réalisé le premier jour, et de manière superficielle le deuxième jour (limité aux lits et à une partie de la salle de bain). Des détails d’entretien laissaient à désirer (un rideau décroché pendant tout le séjour, une baignoire inutilisable car le mécanisme d’occlusion ne fonctionnait pas, des toiles et des araignées dans la salle de bains et dans les toilettes). Enfin, nous nous sommes faits insultés par un artisan qui remontait l’entrée en pente, à l’intérieur de l’hôtel, en vitesse avec sa camionnette, ce qui nous a obligés de nous replier en voiture sur le bord de la route…

Schöne Anlage in einer Traum-Gegend, wunderschöne Zimmer mit top Ausstattung, sehr stilvoll und modern, angenehme Atmosphäre, guter Spa/Massage, freundliches Personal

Das Lamm beim Dinner hat uns nicht zugesagt; Personal insgesamt zu jung und damit teils unerfahren; eine gute Mischung aus Alt und Jung wäre schöner; insgesamt gibt sich das Hotels als sehr hip, daher werden sich junge wohlhabende Pärchen hier wohl fühlen; zu viele Emails im Vorfeld, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Wir würden wieder kommen :)

Lovely quiet location, beautiful rooms and furnishings indoors and outdoors.WILL RETURN!

EVERYTHING PERFECT, beautiful rooms and terrace, the grounds and landscape lovely roses , cedar, olive trees, lavender.with endless views

Prefer no music at breakfast, though I'm sure if I asked they would accommodate. the Staff is unforgettable, so lovely and gracious.

Heerlijk rustige plek met een mooi & verzorgd hotel!

Mooie plek, heel rustig. Compact hotel. Super vriendelijke crew. Fijne kamers en lekkere douchegels. Fietsen beschikbaar om te lenen. Mooi restaurant, hebben wij niet gegeten want menu is redelijk prijzig.

Harde bedjes bij het zwembad. Spa was in verbouwing, dus geen gebruik van kunnen maken. Daardoor ook best wat verbouw geluiden.

Beautiful but soulless

The location ++. The room was really nice and comfortable. Decoration is well done.

Lack of experience of the staff, just doing the minimum, no extra miles. The place has no soul, nothing special to create a memorable experience. Meals and consumptions are over priced.

Beautiful chilled hotel in Provence. High price.

Lovely ambience. Lovely gardens filled with herbs and wonderful view. Staff are pleasant. Great toiletries in room which was cleaned twice a day. Great check in with valet parking.

The room was by the restaurant and was very noisy and there was a lot of noise until 230am so if you are a light sleeper this is an issue. There are tiled floors so you hear everything. There is no gym and I would certainly expect more facilities for the high price. The oool area needs more shaded area. Lots of staff around but at breakfast time it took ages for anyone to meet and greet. We were surprised that when we were asked how we wanted the eggs cooked and we said poached. we were simply told ‘no’ by the waitress. Bit weird that a good chef cannot poach an egg. Very expensive hotel for what it is.

Capelongue

We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment and it was beautiful and tranquil. The room had a little terrasse, 2 bathrooms, 2 private rooms and 1 mezzanine room overlooking the living room. The soundproofing to the rooms was great! Venue is spectacular with a little onsite farm/allotment and lavender field. The 2 pools were lovely and the breakfast/dinner was delicious. We brought our baby and everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming of the baby which was great!

Would be great to have 3 bathrooms/toilets if you are not keen on sharing. The mezzanine room is definitely the short straw but still lovely. Lunches were a little bit on the expensive side but delicious.

Top floor bedroom was poorly air-conditioned, had to leave windows open an d air conditioning on to cool room. Cafe Capelounge has an uninspired menu for a quick bite.

Dreadful food in a beautiful location

Style over substance.

Restaurant is supposed to be Mitchelin Star but the food and menu choice was terrible. There was a choice of menus, one totally meat and the other vegetarian, and we were told we had to choose the same menu, We chose the vegetarian which was 130 euros per head and it was dreadful, portions would have filled an egg cup using cheap ingredients and everything served luke warm. The worst food ever in such a prestigious restaurant, and breakfast was just as bad.
