Overpriced poor accommodation - look elsewhere

Great view from our room.

We decided to treat ourselves and go for a Delux room as it was my birthday celebration but were very dissappointed with the room which was cramped and very tired (wallpaper pealing off the walls, dirty marks on the walls, rust/mould on the shower fittings, dirty finger prints all over the wardrobe doors near the handles etc), it was so cramped we had to move a chair to get into the wardrobe and could only just walk passed the end of the bed - if we'd paid for a standard room then maybe just maybe it might have been acceptable but we paid for a Delux thinking it would be special and it most certainly wasn't. We had requested a space in the car park when we booked (one of the main reasons for picking this hotel!) but were told when we arrived that there were no spaces available, we had move the car from outside the hotel within the hour and drive round the back streets looking for a parking space. Very unhappy with our stay here and dont believe there pricing is right for what they are offering - I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Relaxing. Beautiful clean beach. Ideal holiday location. Could have stayed longer.

Memorable, omfortable, extremely helpful staff

Not too big, very friendly, clean, comfortable with the sea a two minute walk away. Excellent breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay there again.

I had a wonderful 4 nights at this hotel and enjoyed every minute. The staff were friendly, rooms immaculate.

A great short break, along a wonderful coastline.

The view of the bay was exceptional. The en suite toilet facility with shower was modern and excellent. The staff were friendly and polite.

Everything was good

The room faced the Atlantic. Everything was good. The breakfast was great, and there were a few nice restaurants in the area.

Parking was on the street, but it was highly doable to find a spot during the time of my stay (March). Not sure how things will go if you try to visit in summer though :).

we thoroughly enjoyed the area of the hotel, and Royan itself. went swimming every day and could stay on beach till late

Great place, great views, friendly staff and a good breakfast

Great location and proximity to the beach with great views. A small private carpark also very useful.

The bathroom in the room was a bit tired looking and did not smell very clean. The shower head could no longer be fixed to the wall as the fixture was broken. The bathroom could do with a makeover. The coffee facility in the room was of the instant coffee type. A Nespresso style machine would be appreciated. A bottle of mineral water as well instead of having to buy it from the mini bar.

Not worth the money

Location good, beds were good

The room for 3pax was really small! Fits only the beds, hardly space to walk. Partly seaview was really bad, had to hang far out the window to see just a little stripe of the water. There was no balcony. There was no aircon in the room and also no ventilation in the bathroom. Very warm and way to moisture in the room. Bathroom tiles are painted over, not a very decent “renovation”. I paid 160 euro for 1 night, really not worth the value at all.

Very nice hotel but should invest in A/C

Very nice room with beautiful sea view. Breakfast was very good.

Missing air conditioning in the room. Since the street is pretty noisy, sleeping with open windows is not an option.
