Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert, weil das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Gutes und vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet. Fahrstuhl ist vorhanden. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich und immer für Auskünfte bereit. Der Weg in die Innenstadt - und somit auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten - ist gut fußläufig zu erreichen.

Wenn man zum Hof/Parkplatz hinaus reserviert hat, muss man sich auf laute und oft lange Gespräche unter dem Fenster einstellen, die von Übernachtungsgästen vor ihren Fahrzeugen geführt werden. Das nächste Mal würde ich zu Straßenseite buchen, auch, wenn dort ab und zu mal ein Zug (Bahnhofsnähe) vorbeirauscht. Der Wasserhahn könnte mal repariert werden, da er recht locker über dem Waschbecken rotiert.

We liked our time in Wittenberg and our stay at the Acton. our stay at the

Great location and very well run. Good bicycle shed to store the Velos. Great breakfast. A very good Hotel.

Simple hotel offering a nights sleep

Quiet place, ok breakfast. Room was ok. Parking in the backside of hotel.

Restaurant was closed, so we had to fix food another way.. Little bit old hotel, but not too bad.

Best choice for a hotel near the train station and close to the old city of Wittenberg!

Very nice hotel and well worth the stay. Room was nice, property is very well kept and within reasonable walking distance of the train station. I highly recommend this hotel! Great German-style breakfast with plenty of food choices in a nice seating area.

I really have no complaints.

Really enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Very handy being close to the station with the whole town being in walking distance. Very good breakfast. helpful staff.

for some reason, even though we were on the 2nd floor, we seemed to get noise from the bar which disturbed us until closing time.

The stay met our expectations, especially for this price, and the staff is very welcoming.

Communication was easy even though English is not their main language. The breakfast was very good, I especially appreciate the freshness of the buns. The location is a 10-minute walk from the center, but it is a very quiet place (there is a train station nearby, but no noise at all).

Unfortunately, they don't serve dinners, but it is located very close to the center (about 10 minutes on foot), so it is not such a problem.

Our stay was ok, would we stay agian, don No. may 1 night but not long stays

We stayed in a double room not a single as stated The staff are very helpful, The location of the Station is a 5-10 minute walk all of which is level and very wheelchair friendly The Acron has wonderful staff who go out of their way to help and the rooms are cleaned every day even if you stay like us for 8 days.

The breakfast is the same as in the summer I was hoping for something hot or warm food since it was -4c outside. The heating kept going off for about 10 minutes. the cause may have been the thermostatic radiator valve was under a shelf which would have been a different temperature from the rest of the room. Also, beds are low to the floor making it hard to stand if you have knee problems. Had a wheelchair on problems moving around the hotel but the rooms were a little small. also no fridge in the rooms for any medicines you have to keep cold but there is one behind Hotel Reception which closes at 23:00Hrs No English channels on "TV" also if on the top floor internet keeps dropping out. But one thing which upset us the most was drunk guess and banging of doors also we could hear people going to the toilet and shower. Train sounds all night, so if you are a lite sleeper you will be woken up a few times

A peaceful place

I appreciate the kindness of the employees there. Rooms are pretty, there is quite silence. A peaceful place!

Great base to explore Wittenberg

Easy access by car, parking available (at 3 Euros per day) behind the hotel. Walking distance to all major sights in the old town of Wittenberg.

The train station is nearby, which is nice when you arrive by train, but can be a bit noisy for those with light sleep. The breakfast buffet could offer a few additional options, but it's sufficient as it is.

Enjoyable stay, what I expected, not more, but certainly also not less.

The room was ok, good value for money. Very good locations, all sights within walking distance. Parking space was ample, too. Very close to the train station.

One of the beds which had a relatively (unevenly) worn out mattress. Parking should be free, I would say, but 3 Euros per day is fine. Also, the breakfast is rather simple, but also good enough for us. I've seen better breakfast selections in hotels though, that's for sure.

Good enough for a one night stay, but the traffic and trains are disturbing a good night sleep.

It was an ok hotel when passing through. Breakfast was fine. The staff friendly. And the location, in the aspect of center proximity, was good, 5 minutes walk to restaurants and stores. Parking (3€ per night) was good, behind the building and in shade.

Since the rooms don’t have air condition we had to have the windows opened at night, and the train was passing just outside the window and it was so loud (like an airplane landing) and the cars too, so make sure you ask for a room facing the parking zone if you need to have windows open. Also, one of our rooms smelled cigarette smoke.
