Unwelcoming, unloved and hostile - Shelley would turn in his grave.

The location is the only thing that HSP has going for it.

The staff were the most unprofessional and unwelcoming we have ever come across. Apart from one American gentleman on the reception and the cleaning staff we found them aggressive and hostile. Three men in particular from the outside bar need to be trained how to speak to people in general. We were stopped three times from entering the hotel as guests and treated like thieves for simply picking up a leaflet! The lift smelled of sweet rotting corpses and the breakfast was simply inedible. The staff wondered round the breakfast room with ear pods in. The hotel terrace becomes a nightclub after hours with the most tragic -god awful music. 18 year olds roam about the reception area queuing up for the toilets. I found the melted candles and candelabra prop the DJ used particularly distasteful. The nutcracker Christmas decorations in the window late July says it all really! Do not waste your money please!

I never had a more beautiful view from the balcony, i will remember it forever. Hotel location is great, breakfast was great every day, staff is nice and friendly. A small fridge helped a lot!

Bathroom was really small and we didnt have where to dry beach clothes.

Fit for purpose

I'm rating it 10 not because it's perfect, but because it was fit for our purpose. We had half pension and enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. Yes, the rooms are old, but ours had everything we needed and everything worked. There's no parking at the hotel (and that we already knew when booking), but we used the public parking (walking distance from the hotel) that was suggested at 7 euros for 24 hours.

Extremely cold room in Jan. No heating. WiFi does not connect in 2 rooms. Very old furniture, towels Not worth 10$

Great location but unfortunately didn't live up to expectation. Better options available.

The location that was perfect being so close to the main square. The sea view from the balcony. However, a lot of people pass below and look up when you're on it. The access to the sea directly across the street which was ideal for our 4 yr old. We were without AC for most of the trip. We were told it runs on water (!?) instead of gas. The hotel provided a fan that was useless but at the end of the stay they did apply a discount. The cordiality of the breakfast staff and the cleaners who were all excellent.

The room felt small and the pictures we saw when booking didn't reflect the reality of what we got. Quite a dark, oppressive room with old furniture. The reception staff were hit and miss. Some were polite and some extremely rude. When we complained about the AC the guy argued and shouted at my wife, something that is unacceptable in todays customer service (customer is ALWAYS right, even if you don't agree). When talking about AC not working I was dismissed as being nothing could be done and there were no fans. My wife managed to speak to someone else who quickly procured a fan and offered a change of room (smaller so we didn't take it).

Location is all it's got - Other than that, very basic for the price you pay.

We liked the location, and that's about it. The hotel looks nice from the outside, that's all really.

We didn't have any view and our bedroom had an awful smell of sewage coming from the drains which was very strong at times. We mentioned this to reception who neither apologsied nor seemed to care. The breakfast was not great. Very minimal and nothing fresh - very disapointed that coffee was from a bad machine and all pastries and cakes were pretty dry. Presentation generally was a bit sad. 1 Staff member was lovely, the rest pretty moody and unhappy to help with directions. The car park was disapointingly far, for 15euros a day...

Lovely view, smart exteriors, friendly staff.

I found the pre-authorisation payment confusing. The breakfast was quite simple and underwhelming for the price. The bedding was not particularly comfortable.
