Returned after 7 years . Fabulous location and enjoyed staying in the apartment. Even though it was a spiral staircase wasn’t a problem as another set of stairs allowed bags to be taken up . The apartment is beautifully furnished and only wish we could have stayed longer . They delivered a delicious breakfast to us each morning and one evening had a magnificent dinner with friends on the terrace . Owners were so friendly and helpful and hope we can return in the future.
All good

Beautiful location, beautifully furnished with incredible art everywhere, with the most authentic French breakfast 'ever'!.A true gem in Uzes. Also easy to get to with the car for unloading baggage etc. Plenty of safe parking nearby. And if the owners could afford a little wider smile at times, then it would be 101/100. We'll return in any case, even if just to say hello to the delightful house Dalmatian Polo.
Not enough smiles :-)

Location was good
The staff except for the cleaning woman were very unfriendly and not responsive to issues like the heating and TV not working. There was no soap in the bathroom. The kitchen was very poorly stocked.

Comfortable, stylish decor. Great central location
All was very good! Information for nearby free parking would be helpful.

The rooms are very clean and well resourced, good air con which is very wellcome
I suggest the automatic lights are made a little more sensitive, it can be a bit dark outside the rooms as they don't switch on as quickly as one would wish.

Great location, very pretty boutique hotel, enormous room right next to an outside terrace we were able to use. Very clean and comfortable. Hotel has a lot of personality. And we would definitely stay again.
Nothing really. Very happy with the hotel and it lived up to our expectations.

The hotel is the perfect blend of historical charm and contemporary creativity. The atmosphere is a feast for the eyes with its delightful quirkiness BUT nothing gets in the way of good old fashion hospitality, service and attention to detail. The rooms are immaculate, with lots of space and very comfortable beds. While all the amenities are great, the service is consistently excellent. Repeatedly the manager went out of his way to accommodate our requests and offer assistance. Not only is the location superb, it is a truly pet friendly establishment. Our four-legged traveling partner was not just tolerated, but made to feel as welcome as we were. Our stay exceeded expectations in every way.
Nothing....everything was wonderful

This was a birthday celebration rescued as our first and second choices were both closed - hotels and restaurants! A friend recommended the food and the hotel was central which allowed us to meet up with friends earlier in the day. Bedroom was a nice size and very warm on the cold December day, some interesting artwork and my favourite, a mirror on extending arm in the bathroom. Welcome was very friendly and Covid organised, sweet dog too. Meal was fine, friendly other diners and young waiter was charming and 'into' his work, delightful sense of humour!
We were pleased to find a warm friendly hotel for our birthday treat and so I don't want to criticize - HOWEVER our room had an air blower heater above the door, which must have been set on a thermostat as it kicked on and off all night (lovely and cosy & not over-hot) BUT the blown air activated the automatic light (for arriving in a dark room) and we could find no way in the middle of the night to turn it off ! There was probably a zapper to do so somewhere, but it may have been quite cold without the heater....Hence we had a disturbed night, lights flashed on about 20 times. Also the bathroom door was really sticky, so noisy if someone is sleeping and you need the loo! But just to emphasise this is a pleasant very well situated place to stay in central Uzes and we enjoyed our meal and stay.

Wi Fi was very slow and unreliable.
Charging 5 EUR for a cup of cafe au lait is somewhat expensive ;(

location, close from everything. literally just in town center.
I wouldn’t say that I don’t like but I thought the first impression wasn’t the best at the entrance.

I had stayed here a few years ago with a previous owner. She was very welcoming , Theresa a lovely sitting room for guests and breakfast was served on a veranda overlooking a garden. Loved it so much my has and and I returned with friends this year.
Unbelievably disappointed.
Owner / staff were very unfriendly.
Rude about the parking expecting us to park in a distant car park without letting us unload out bags at the hotel. No sitting room and breakfast room dark and dreary.

I had a very bad experience at this property. I paid my bill by credit card. The owner telephoned me some 2 hours later and said that the card had been refused. I returned to the hotel where he showed me the abandoned receipt. I accepted him at his word and paid again. He then said that I had left something in my room which did not belong to me. He said that it was room 9 but mine was room 3. It transpired that he had charged me for my friend’s room. I had to ask my friend to return to hotel and pay me. There was no acknowledgment or apology from the owner who in my opinion attempted to defraud me. I found it a dreadful experience. I generally find booking.com to be very good but this recommendation was poor.

Superb location in the historic centre of Uzes. Beautiful rooms in classic French decor. I loved the pretty balcony overlooking the street, decorated with geraniums. Kind and amusing desk staff.
My friend and I can't think of any improvement. We loved our stay.
4.5
I loved the pieces of art which were all over the hotel. Fantastic!
Th room decor, different styles but stylish
The welcome politeness upon registration
I loved the hand soap.
I personally found the pillows too big but my spouse liked them.
The breakfast had only a sweet option, a savoury one would have been welcome.
