Location, size of rooms, dinner, breakfast, old romantic setting
tv size is 14 inch, maintenance of the gardens, tennis courts and pool is required
3.5
It was a lovely old house, well maintained, the room was large and the bathroom provided a choice of shower or bath. Had the weather been nicer we could have used the little porch, the breakfast was as expected.
I think the hotel was overpriced for what it was and I would debate that it was a 5 star hotel. Internet was patchy, we could hear people in the corridor and next door. The television was the smallest I have seen in some time and watching from the luxury of the bed was almost impossible. It was an interesting stay, but not one I would repeat.

Very peaceful, loved the bath
Very Small TV, poor reception, I u destined what they’re doing as far as decor but it’s a bit too much to live with

早餐非常美味!早餐服务人员提供的服务也好!庄园非常漂亮且有特色。周三人少,散步到旁边的酒厂,博物馆,独享安静美丽的风景。
阳台很多灰,两张椅子很脏。

The location was nice and brekky was really good 😊 we love the Edwardian style furniture
The TV was too far away from the bed and because it was in a cabinet it was hard to see the screen unless you sat at the dining room table
4.5
The room style, the photo frames, bad and lounge
The bathroom was so cold

Beautiful location and character - staff and food was amazing
Needed maintenance, landscaping untidy, locks on doors to balcony didn’t work. Maybe some fresh flowers inside - hallways looked very bare

Was a great last minute booking staff were lovely place was beautiful but we were given one gown, tv was tiny, dvd didn’t work, on the plus side breakfast was amazing
Only one gown, tv way too small

Great location close to wineries.
Loved to see hot air balloons from our room in the morning.
Great big room and bathroom.
Loved having dinner at Eleanore's restaurant.
It would've been good to have natural juice (or at least the bottled ones that taste like fruit) in the breakfast and also cracked pepper.
4.5
Excellent stay, highly recommend to others. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was great , location was idyllic, the staff member who took my phone call to clarify the stay was absolutely lovely , it’s a shame I didn’t get her name to send a thank you note ….she locked us in a nice room with gorgeous views and recommended some lovely places to visit for my family … lovely lady …if you read this , thank you again!
Found the other staff to not be as helpful or engaging for a hotel I would expect better …. There is 1 lady that is outstanding but can’t recall her name unfortunately ….I think it would be great if the staff could improve on their engagement piece …. Just my nitty picky constructive feedback … overall excellent stay I highly recommend !!!

Location, service and food for breakfast was fantastic
I felt the five course dinner needs be be a bit more generous with the amount of food served up.

Breackfast was good and very quick, not a huge menu though. The dinner waiters were outstanding.
The service for a beverage was very slow if not non existent, we waited 40 minutes for service and just left. The bar was never opened. The bathroom floor in the room had spills on it and was not mopped. There has been some repairs to the property however they clearly stand out and look as if it was a quick fix, disppointing.

The staff and service. Thank you Vince in reception and lovely Kat in Eleanora restaurant.
not enough choice at breakfast .. fresh fruit and pastries would have been nice. prefer traditional buffet

Beautiful place environment
Restaurants not open so no food available
3.5
Good
Television was the size of a laptop and reception in the room was very poor, actually only one channel was working in Black and white. Outside area of our room was neglected, as well as Pool area. The restaurant was closed. We were notified of this only a few days prior to our arrival. Overall we felt the hotel was understaffed, & severely neglected. We expected better facilities for the rate charged.
2.0
The large, comfortable room, and good breakfast.
The incredibly unhelpful (and frankly rude) receptionists, coupled with the fact that there is no proper restaurant service other than breakfast make this feel much more like a B&B than a 5 star hotel. The pool should not be advertised as a facility as it is not maintained and is unsafe for use (not properly cleaned or treated and the surrounding area is overgrown with broken furniture - clearly unused for a long time).
Really poor value for money. Would not recommend.
