Great location at a lake, big backyard. Fantastic breakfast. Clean and spacey. (2023)
Only one complaint from us. The bunkbeds are not good, While the top one is ok-ish (guard railing is quite low though) the lower one has a steal beam right above your bed which might cause some trouble.

Extra charge for bedding 70 DKK each.

Breakfast was good (at the Danish standards) easy late arrival, good location close to highway back to Germany

Room (2 single/1 bunkbed) was nice and big and had room for a cot.
Breakfast was decent.
Enough place in and outside to sit and do stuff.
Staff was very friendly and quick with answers. Would have loved to find more information about the hostel and Haderslev in our room via a pamflet or something.
Carpets in the bedroom and cmonroom had some nasty stains.
The baby bed was fixed with tie rip on one side so we had to put that side to the wall so our baby would climb out through the lower part.
There were an huge amount of spiders and other insects. My girlfriend hates them and I dint mind them but even I felt uncomfortable. We felt forced to keep the windows closed so we could kill the 10 spiders that were inside and sleep relaxed. However it was 28 degrees and the room was a sauna so we had only 3 hours of sleep..
I understand this is based on personal traits and unlucky series of events. I also understand the price isnt high but i still expect a bit more cleanliness and possibly some insectnets in front of the windows

Staff was friendly and we got full refund on our rooms.
We did not stay the night. Went up to our rooms and found insect crawling and flying all over the rooms and bathrooms. Left immediately!

Big room and toilet/shower. Walking distance to the city center and price worthy breakfast
Big ahh spiders in the room so not for the arachnophobic people.

This is quite a charming little hostel/b&b/camping place in a very quiet and nice location.
Staff were so helpful and friendly. Honestly, I don't really begrudge paying more than I expected here, because the staff here were just so super friendly and lovely.
With a family of 5, including linen/sheet rental and breakfast, this ended up being the most expensive place we stayed on our road trip. So it's like Ryanair - I'm sure it CAN be good value, but the extras make it less appealing price-wise.
Also, the basic breakfast would have been fine if it was about five euros, but it's hotel price and not hotel standard.

Very friendly host!! We had a cabin: very well equiped, good beds and very quiet to sleep.

Good location, a lot of green outside.
A lot of spiders in house
4.5
The location was perfect for us as we wanted to spend more time going on walks in nature than in the city centre, but the centre was still very accessible. The room we were given had a beautiful view of the lake and we loved it!
There were some hairs on the chairs in the room and some cobwebs on the windows. It would've been more convenient if there was some shower gel in the bathroom.

Everything you could typically expect from a great Denmark hostel cottage. Family cottages are not too big and very cozy, great smell of a wood inside. Nice terrace to have an evening meal and spacious lawn around.
This place had a Wifi, but connection was flaky in the cottage - had to go closer to main building.
Beds in a family cottage could be wider.

Alles relaxed
Tip in the summer flyscreens for The windows

A lot of spiders inside the bathroom

Nice beds, good location and breakfast was OK.
