Overall quite OK.
Breakfast was excellent on Sunday, simpler on Monday.
Room was a good size and had the promised view over the Mosel river as well as 2 chairs and small table on the small balcony. (no privacy, neighbour easily looks in)
However, it was over the road. So quite noisy when traffic passed, day and night.
Menu is very limited a la carte. The menu of the day had 4 excellent courses and none of it was available a la carte. No entrees, few main dishes and just ice cream for desserts while the menu had exquisite dishes. We did not know about the menu when we arrived earlier that day and it was never offered.
Shower is open with no curtain or door. As a result floor is soaking wet, however careful you are when showering. No complementary bottle of water. Towel was worn and had holes, quiet resting room was closed.

One of the best experience of my life as traveller. A friendly and helpful staff, an excellent location, clean and comfy room, excellent facilities, high quality breakfast and a top notch restaurant

Nice relaxing swim in the pool and sauna after a tiring day travelling. Good breakfast and tasty buffet style evening meal. Decent beer!
WiFi snuggled to connect but not unexpected in a rural setting. A bit of a climb from the bottom car park - drop your bags off in front of the hotel!

the location
the staff was rude and no English menus

Fantastic view of the Rhine. Huge bedroom. Comfortable bed. Pool and sauna were great to relax in at the end of the day.
Food at the restaurant was great and the buffet breakfast had plenty of options.

Baby friendly staff (no worries, they're adult friendly as well)! We enjoyed our stay. The food in the restaurant is amazing.
Have a look in the leaflets near the reception, there are castles and nature hikes galore. If you're visiting with a baby and plan those walks and visits, bring a baby carrier.
Good old manual air conditioning (windows). Nights are chilly still in June, so it wasn't much of a problem, but just so you know. It was our first holiday in Germany, so perhaps it's common knowledge not to expect AC. Not a big deal, just something to keep in mind.

I liked the room and the view from the balcony, staff was very attentive. Food was good. Quiet and cozy atmosphere. Perfect room for a couple.
The pool and the spa were very busy, unfortunately we couldn't use the Facilities. It would be a good idea to schedule times with the guests to ensure everyone can enjoy these. More massage options (as posted on the website) should be available to customers if they adhear to planning in advance.

The hotel's interior is quite stylish - that is very important for me. The breakfast was excellent, especially enjoyed the various freshly baked buns and selection of soft cheeses. Very exquisite wine cellar and veranda facing Mosel where you can enjoy a glass of wine with the view on the river at night.
The beds were quite unromantic - the 2 matresses kept sliding away from each other. Also, we could hear our neighbours' TV very well.

the staff was friendly and accomodating. The location was very convenient. the breakfast was ok but not anything special, the coffee was ok.
we checked 3 rooms. The first smelled horrible, old dirty ras and smoke stuck to the wall paintings. no freshness of a newly cleaned room. the curtain did not black out the sun and the sunrises right in our face. the carpeted floor is not a plus because it was dirty. The shower was tiny. the pillows are uncomfortable.
the fire alarm went off at 5 am for no reason. the pool had hairs on the bottom. the television old no ability for Netflix and the wifi signal is pretty weak. the price for what is offered is not worth it even though the staff was nice it could not compensate for the horrible smell in all our room. the third room smelled less horrible. some proper renovation is definitely needed ASAP or at least better cleaning painting the walls, clean the carpet clean with scenting cleaners chlorine etc...

Nice location and I liked the pool area. The staff was also very helpfull.
I expected something more of the rooms. They were smaller then expected and had no airco. We were hearing our neighbours pretty loudly as well. Normally I would not complain but for the money we paid I just expected something more.

Our room had a spectacular view, however the road between the hotel and the river was very busy therefore noisy. We had a very good evening meal in their steakhouse restaurant and the red wine was very good.
Considering COVID there was very little social distancing from guests especially during the breakfast buffet and very little sanitising of hands. It felt unsafe to be honest.
