Breakfast was exceptional. Gorgeous local food. Beautifully laid out.
The setting in the Botanical Gardens was extraordinary and special. we could walk out into the gardens throughout our stay morning and evening - even when they were closed to the public.
Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming - in particular Corrine who was on duty during our stay.

The gardens and the room were exceptional.
It was wonderful to enjoy such a beautiful château and the botanical grounds which we’re absolutely a work of brilliance and art .
We were so welcomed by Corrine and looked after so well .
We truly enjoyed our picnic dinner in the garden supplied by the local restaurant.
We felt very privileged to enjoy this beautiful château and it’s botanical masterpiece .
Nothing.

Absolutely stunning location! comfortable beds. Very spacious rooms. Lovely breakfast. Wonderful hostess Corinne!
Slept in the blue room on the first night and very disturbed sleep with a lot of noise (footsteps and furniture moving about) throughout the night from the floor above!

it is a beautiful old fashioned property located in amazing botanical gardens. the owners are extremely helpful and welcoming. the sounds of the owls at night and the view of the stars over the lake and gardens are quite superb
it is quite remote and there are not many amenities nearby. however, this is part of the charm - the property is beautiful and you do feel like you are stepping back in time

The château at the centre of the gardens is an absolutely idyllic setting. It is calm and serene. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff were incredibly welcoming. They are warm, friendly and very nice people. We would highly recommend a visit!

Beautifully presented breakfast with 4 alternative jams/honey/marmalade in little bowls (ie not mass produced jars) choices of croissants/pastries and delightful service. Incredibly beautiful setting - wandering around the park and gardens was amazing bonus. Elegant room with period furnishings and paintings- very comfortable bed. Deepest bath I have ever encountered !

Excellent breakfast, very peaceful setting and wonderful botanic gardens to stroll through.
Internal ambience of the chateau is a bit dark and would benefit from lighter paint schemes and some softer furnishings.

The breakfast

Everything! Charming, friendly and helpful host, lovely room with huge bath, tasty breakfast (and the best coffee), and a simply superb and very quiet location within a lovely garden - that this was 'botanic' was even more special as I had worked for/in one for many years.
The length of our stay! So we booked for another night the following week.

A beautiful and peaceful environment! The staff were attentive but not intrusive. A wonderful story and history to the house, especially how the family have created the botanic gardens over the past 20+ years. The rooms are beautiful and we were disappointed that we couldn't make more of the chateau. If you do stay, lunch at Casse Grains (sp) is also a must! A husband and wife team who have created a menu that is straight from the garden, with the flare of a Michelin style chef! Will hopefully return with more time and definitely tell friends and family about this magical place.

This place was by far the most beautiful room in the most spectacular gardens I've ever seen.
Our hostess was lovely and she recommended a wonderful in town restaurant. The breakfast served in her tea room was excellent!

The gardens are wonderful. The room was fine . We were kindly allowed in the gardens early
The wi fi was dire . Had no signal after 9pm and very little before.
The bed was very firm .
The breakfast was Ok but at 15 euros each 2 cups of coffee would have been nice

Large roomy bedroom with wonderfully quaint antique en suite bathroom complete with wood pannelling and deep bath. The gardens were a complete surprise and worth allowing a few hours time to explore. Our hostess kindly provided us with cutlery, plates etc for an evening picnic we had brought with us, and insisted on washing our grapes. It was interesting to hear the history of the house and gardens from her.
Wish I'd allowed more time to explore the gardens.
