Air con. Room facilities.

Iris was really helpful. She organised a taxi to meet us at the airport and then met us herself at the drop off point, to walk us from the street to the apartment- 1 min. Although the area is busy, the apartment is really quiet, with a really comfortable bed and great shower. Close to everything, including the ferries. Would definitely recommend.

Good restaurant suggestion.
It was just a living room with a small bathroom next to it. It was four floors walking up and the facilities were poor (e.g. we didn’t even have a rack to put our towels up). Description said there were wine glasses and a microwave (nowhere to be found), and that there was a nice view (small window and buildings across the street). It was also mentioned that there was an option to cook so we bought all sorts of groceries… only to be left with a cooking plate (NO pots or pans), and a fridge that was just enough for water and a few beers.

Strong hot water shower and great WIFI
Stairs only to 2nd Floor although someone was there to take the suitcase up cor us on check in.

The host is a very nice person. Not far from the city center. Accommodations relatively cheap for this area.
Small kitchen is available in the room.
1. The bed is not very comfortable, it is too much soft. I could not sleep well because of it.
2. One of towels in the bathroom had a lot of hair.
I would recommend this apartment if the host fixes the bed. Basically that was the main issue for me. Other things are OK for a short stay.

Great location, comfy bed, tiny balcony, wonderful host. Small fridge, kettle and basic equipment, was enough for a self-catered breakfast.
Pillows maybe a bit big to my taste, not a big problem.

The apartment looks even better than in the pictures. Iris is super friendly. I was able to checkin/checkout easily. The city center is just a few minutes walk from the apartment, as well as the bus stop and all necessary shops. The apartment is clean and well-equiped. Will stay there again if come back to Split one day :)

Iris is very nice and helpful. She recommended us what to see in Split. She also found for us a free, parking space close to the apartment which would be extremely difficult to do on our own.
Apartment is perfect for a few days stay. It is very close to the Old Town, perfect place to explore Split.
Grocery shop is just around the corner.

I appreciated Iris hospitality and her quick response as well as her friend's help who delivered my luggage upstairs.

Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
We booked a Stambuk apartment in a far more central location but the evening prior to travelling from the UK the owner told us the property was at a different address and to meet her there. At this late point we couldn't afford to argue. When we arrived we realised it had been a con and she must do this with most guests. Not only did we not get the location and place we had booked but we also only got a room, not an apartment. She told us this happens with everyone! No shame at all. We were furious but again, we had arrived at 10pm and she knew we would have no choice. Also her burly husband was there... This kind of behaviour puts us off Booking altogether;(

Great location, very clean.
the shower room is really small, no place to hang shower head.

The location is great, very close to the port and the old town! We did everything on foot day and night! The apartment was spacious and the host was very nice and gave us good tips on where to eat!
Beds and pillows were a bit harsh and the sun would come in very early in the morning because the shade curtain was very thin. Also 4th floor with no escalator (didn't mind but perhaps should be pointed out clearer in the description).

First impression is everything. And this host gets a 10 out of 10. Fast information, helped with the bags, city center.

The location was great. It was on a quiet lane? very near the palace (two minute walk).
The room was chilly, and I could not find any extra blankets - Covid issue maybe?

The apartment is in the perfect location, close to local amenities, bus station and ferry port. The owner was super friendly and helpful and was fun to chat with. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a lovely little balcony. Would highly recommend staying here.

The location was great, at least for us, as we came by a rented car, which we returned to the ferry port area. The apartment was just a short walking distance from it, although my advice would be not to follow your GPS suggestions. If it is anything similar to mine, it will lead you around, while the actual way is pretty straightforward. Just head for the BIPA store near the port / the crossing of Zagrebacka street x Poljana Kneza Trpimira. The entrance is from a little courtyard accessed from Zagrebacka street to the left of BIPA when you stand facing the store.
The room was a decent size, had a comfy bed, good wifi, etc. A small balcony with shades to protect from the sun. The owners were quite responsive, we were in touch by text on the day of our arrival, since they do not live on the spot. They came to let us in and helped us find the flat (we were quite lost, to be honest). The flat is located on some higher floor, with no lift, so if you have luggage, take that into consideration. For us it was fine.
Even though the room description says it has a fridge and a hotplate, you should not really expect anything above that and maybe even you should lower your expectations as to any kitchen whatsoever. There was not even a knife to cut your apple or tomato (but there was a bottle opener, so maybe your priorities are just somewhere else), so I won't even start to list anything else that was missing from the "shelf". We do not cook elaborate meals, but cooking in that flat would be a bit of a nightmare unless you only need to boil water. There wasn't even a tiny counter to set your plate or mug on when preparing a cup of tea and to eat your granola you'd have to sit at a low coffee table (maybe it is me, but it was very uncomfortable). I'd say the "kitchen" option is largely non-existent. Agreed, the room does not have any room for a kitchen counter, as the hotplate, sitting atop a tiny cubicle of a fridge, is located in the passage to the bathroom, but my eye measured it all and I'd manage to squeeze something comfier there. So, no kitchen, really. Just an electric kettle. I don't remember this, nor do I care to check, but the owner wanted the rental to be paid in cash, which might be a bit inconvenient if you don't plan ahead. Not sure if there are many more flats in that block that these hosts rent out to tourists, but ours was like a place with a shared corridor, so technically two small flats in one. We were lucky to be alone, so we could put our luggage in the corridor, but this would not be an option if someone rented the other. No shelves for your stuff, but a small hanging rack with hangers. Works okay, but uses up the space I'd dedicate to updo the "kitchen" :) Ah, the bathroom (basic and a bit dated) is on a higher level, with two steps, so don't forget about it at night ;) The small shower has a shower curtain, which sticks to your wet body and lets the water run freely outside of the tub.

Iris is a friendly and helpful hostess, her personality and sense of humor make up for everything. She should be an actress or a travel guide, it's impossible not to like her immediately. The location of the place is excellent, few minutes from Diocletian's Palace, yet in an area where you still have a chance to find parking. If not - Iris will guide you to a nearby free parking lot. The room has a small balcony perfect for breakfast.
This specific room is 4th floor without elevator, and the bed is a sofa-bed, not so comfortable. They have other rooms though, just make sure to read the entire description before you reserve.

Great Location
The 88 steps up to the property, the kitchen had no tea pot or corkscrew and the shower could use a short rail to assist in getting out. It should be pointed out clearly that payment is due in cash on arrival
