This place is magical, with property owners that are rare jewels. I'd describe it as the "Oasis of Mykonos". Their location is positioned above the city activities, overlooking the Old Port and ripe locale for the best sunsets. Location enabled us to get beautiful views.

Shuttle driver didn't drop us off at the right place on the first night. Had a difficult time getting up the steps with suitcases. Other taxi drivers knew where to go.

A lovely stay in gorgeous surroundings

We had a lovely 3 nights stay. The accommodation was comfy, clean and had everything we needed! The location was perfect; a short walk from the centre of Mykonos town, but still quiet and relaxing, with a great pool and beautiful surroundings. The hosts were lovely and offered a delicious, cheap breakfast (a rarity in Mykonos!) which we had every morning.

Fabulous!

The breakfast was fabulous! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The hotel grounds and the view are beautiful. There were days we didn't leave the hotel because it was so nice and peaceful.

the most beautiful sunset view!

what a wonderful place to stay in Mykonos!! the most perfect place to watch the sunset. although a bit of a hike up to get to it, you get beautiful views. the pool area is great. the rooms are a bit outdated but the outside makes up for it! the hosts are so kind and helpful! we would 100% recommend for anyone to come here and we would come back if in Mykonos again! you are a short walk down to the main town and an easy walk to the bus terminal to get to all the beaches!

the only downside is the walk back up to the property- but then you get the most amazing views so the hike up is totally worth it. just a warning if you have mobility issues you may want a car or taxi!

Recommended stay! Good location near town, pretty and comfortable.

Very nice hotel near Mykonos town. Our room was cute, super spacious, very comfortable and had a pretty balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. Plus it had a kitchen which was amazing. Everything was in working order and clean. Staff was also nice and accommodating.

Not easy to access (as is usual in the island).

Long weekend in Mykonos

La Veranda is in a beautiful position overlooking Mykonos Town. The owners do everything possible to make their guests feel welcome and at home. The verandah is the perfect spot for breakfast ...this is great value. It is also the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset. The location means there are steep hills and steps to walk into the town and to walk back afterwards!!! But it is a great work out.

BEST VIEW IN MYKONOS TOWN!

The view from our room of the swimming pool was just beautiful! The views from the accommodation were also incredible - overlooking mykonos Town. It is also situated next to 180 sunset bar - a MUST visit for the vibes, music and food. Although we didn't need to pay for the view as we already had the same view from our accommodation. Staff were very friendly, rooms were classic standard Greek rooms that were very clean. The cafe over looks the BEATUFUL town and is great value for money, we especially loved the crossiants & Greek Yoghurt/honey. We also hired quadbikes for two days and did this through the guest house which I would recommend. Overall the trip was perfect and just a 10 minute walk or so to the shops, restaurants etc.

There is quite a steep climb to get to the accomodation which we did not mind as we like to get our steps in, but that's why the views are so fabulous!

We could not have picked a better place - highly recommended.

I will definitely be back!

The property is absolutely gorgeous! It is in a fantastic location above Mykonos. The hill/stairs to get back to the property are steep - but bearable! I preferred to be away from the city a little bit as I was not necessarily there to take part in the party scene. Every evening I enjoyed the most amazing sunsets from the patio with a very delicious glass of white wine brought to me by the host!! seriously phenomenal!
