Lots to like here - the location, the staff the generall ambience of the down stairs areas, the breakfast, the pool and sauna and plenty of parking. Easy to walk into Henley
Our room was very disappointing with dowdy decor and impractical bathroom. Who wants a disabled bathroom with no where to put sponge bags at a useful height or a full on waterfall shower. Did mention all this to the staff as we left.

Breakfast was ok.
There was no restaurant open for an evening meal. If we'd of known this at the time of booking, then we would of looked for somewhere else to stay.
The bar area was shut extremely early leaving my wife and I with the only option of going out for an evening meal and social drink.

The location/food/staff were excellent
Unfortunately our room wasn’t the best. Very small. Hotel was full so we couldn’t change the first night. If you get chance pay extra for a river view/bigger room

宿泊が日曜日であったため、残念ながらレストランでの夕食は食べられなかったが、朝食はとても美味しかった。
川辺の庭園が素晴らしい。

The general atmosphere and the staffs pleasant and polite attitude gave a very relaxed background to our stay. The surrounding grounds and gardens were in excellent order and the close view of the river provided a very memorable experience.
From a very personal point of view I would have liked access to a small fridge for my medication. I was advised that this was available for the deluxe rooms but perhaps this is something I should have enquired about when booking.

View of the Thames, close to town
Breakfast was poor
We were given a room, but when we went in someone was already there. Give them their due, the hotel sorted it immediately and we were given an upgraded room.

Superb customer service. Comfortable room. Lots of facilities
7.0
Massive room with sofa and two chairs but they had seen better days, very worn. Comfy bed. Great views of the river. Fabulous breakfast freshly cooked.
Pool too far from main building.
9.0
Wonderful helpful groundsman who showed us easy access to walk to Hensley
Was told we could order sandwiches at bar when we checked in at 5pm. When we walked right to bar right away, we were told we couldn't order sandwiches as it was 5pm.

Breakfast very Good
location is fabulous
The property is very tired. Rooms are small, decoration is poor. It needs a huge refurbishment.
Drinks service is awful. No table service. Ordered a pimms and lemonade which was served in the wrong glass, no ice etc
Very poor. Coffees were dispatched from a machine similar to that in a hospital. Dreadful.
For a high end members club the beverage offer is simply terrible. Not sure i can remember anything worse.

The location by the Thames is to die for. There is a spectacular view from the rooms that overlook the river. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. The room was spacious and comfortable in an old-fashioned style. Excellent food. This is a quiet place, good for walking, sightseeing and relaxing.
Nothing. It was all up to expectations and we felt at home. There is a good security system to keep everyone safe.

The breakfast was exceptional. I had the vegetarian option and it was generous and beautifully prepared. Staff was very helpful and catered quickly and efficiently.
I have nothing to say here. We liked everything.

Nice location close to the river and town centre. Great breakfast served by friendly staff in a nice setting
We had booked their largest room, 301 sq feet, with a sofa. That room had a very unpleasent odour, possibly from a leak in the ceiling, that had left a large mark on the carpet underneath. After sitting in one of the arm chairs in that area for a few minutes my trousers were soaked by whatever was inside the sofa. I notified the reception and was given another room, signficantly smaller with no sofa. However the hotel staff insisted I pay the same rate as for the first room as both were 'deluxe rooms'

beautiful location and wonderful facilities.
5.0
Immaculate grounds and setting.
The hotel could not accommodate us in the restaurant at any point despite advertising the restaurant at point of booking. The room itself was beyond basic and had long hairs hanging from the shower head. The staff were very polite but undertrained at check-in and failed to code our key to re-enter the premises meaning the night porter had to let us in.

Wonderful location in immaculate kept grounds overlooking the River Thames where the famous boat regatta takes place. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

From first arrival to final departure everything was exactly as described and staff extremely helpful and pleasant, the room very nice and the whole ambience a treat.
The weather might have been a tad more kind, I cannot really blame Phyllis Court for that though. Had I asked they would have tried I am sure.

The food and service was excellent, also the location is fantastic.
The room was small and smelt damp, The view from the room was awful we looked out over a flat roof and vetelation duct. When we booked it said a view over the gardens or river view!

Great parking and easy check-in!
Lovely room with view of the river, clean and spacious
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Pool closed very early!
3.0
Bacon not cooked and very thick skin on sausage which was pale and unappetising
To find on arrival that restaurant was closed and bar not open. Both of these should have been advised when the booking was made.
Information on booking.com form telling us that facilities were shut as this referred to 2020!

It was absolutely wonderful; my in-laws came to stay for the week and they were thrilled. We’re now looking to membership at the Club so watch this space! Absolutely delightful setting; the incredible team of staff, in particular, made the whole experience wonderfully special, so thank you very much.

great staff, loved the views and fantastic breakfast

Breakfast was very good and offered an excellent selection of food. Service in the restaurant was good too.
This was a disaster!! Despite booking a room with river and garden view we were given a small back room that overlooked a roof parapet and was completely surrounded by the hotel's very noisy and large extractor fan. When I asked for a room change to fulfil what I had booked the Receptionist told me I had been given what Booking.com had allocated to me and there was nothing else available except a room costing £100 more! It was supposed to be a special treat for my birthday - completely spoiled by both the hotel's and booking.com's lack of help. The room we were assigned did not meet the criteria on booking.com's website and I consider that I should be offered compensation for the misrepresentation.

Fantastic location in town. Beautiful view of the
river. Large room, big bay, large bathroom,
closet. Beds comfortable. Lovely towels and
bathrobes.
Hotel very dated. No access to facilities if you’re
not a member. Large sun filled room unbearably
hot. I was in room 3. No air conditioning. Small
fan didn’t do the job in such a large room.
It spoilt my stay as didn’t sleep well.
It was 23 outside. It felt like an oven when you
opened the door. Some staff were great however
on my first morning down for breakfast I was
greeted with “you’re the last one down by a man.
I felt like an inconvenience and was not offered
an option of seating. I then explained I had an
allergy and was offered scrambled egg which
arrived on a piece of toast. On my second
morning Felicity told me that most of the
breakfasts could be amended. she was really
helpful and offered me a choice of seating
and I had a fantastic meal.
The room was very clean but the shower and
tiles needed a good scrub with lime scale
remover. The toilet made a constant noise which
I managed to stop so I could sleep with a toilet
brush. The Ball cock needed replacing. I paid
£640.00 for two nights which I felt was too much
due the the fact the hotel was run down and
there was no access to facilities. The late check
in and early check out also didn’t offer good
value. The old net curtains with a big T V in the
bay blocked the beautiful view of the river.
There was also too much furniture.
The room was for two but there was a sofa and
two large ugly chairs with torn and worn faux
leather. Definitely not needed.

location is amazing and all the food so has was delicious.
room service was poor both for dinner and breakfast. neither meal arrived without being chased up and breakfast was so late I couldn’t enjoy it as my taxi was already waiting for me. dinner took 1.5 hours to arrive.

A very nice hotel in a scenic location within a few minutes walking distance of Henley town centre. Excellent facilities, a clean room, and friendly staff. A very good choice of options for breakfast.
A bit on the expensive side.
