There was a young lady working on the evening of the 2nd august to the morning of August 3rd....exceptional service! Makes your stay so warm and exciting!
I think if the grass was maintained and kept very low, the place would appear MORE magical....the breakfast menu organisation's I felt is not very user friendly and limited for a beeakfast inclusive...but tasted quite well!
4.5
Really nice location, quiet, close to the river and close to the beach
Stunning environment
Efficient and friendly staff
Very good restaurant

Staff was very nice and the breakfast was great.
There is room for improvement that can defiantly improve the experience for guest. the Path to beach needs better lighting and repairs. I would also recommend a jetty in the river with kayaks to use.

The location in general and location to the beach was very good. The decor of the room was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. The veranda was a lovely addition to the comfort of the room.
I liked everything about the property but I feel there could have been more information on the website and on arrival about the various tours and sights. I missed out on seeing the Pawi birds (should be separate from a general bird watching tour) and on the cocoa/ local chocolate making tour (which was only on certain days) as I did not know about them and did not feature them into my plans/ time there.

Location, in a beach i grew up on
Acajou looked a bit tired and in need of a lick of freshen up

The interaction with nature. The food was delicious.
It was to short of a visit.

The breakfast was amazing, the dinner was to die for. Very friendly Staff and the menu is simple but the food is amazing.
The scenery and birds also added a nice refreshing get away.
This is not for everyone but for those who appreciate nature and birds.
There wasn't any complaints other than we weren't able to stay longer. This is not for persons looking for the resort noise and bustle, it was filled to capacity and we didn't notice

I thought the breakfast was excellent and it was very easy to get to - especially since we were in room 1.
It would have been nice to have access to umbrellas.

Pretty, small but with everything you need, lovely gardens

Excellent staff and service, good location near the beach and river . Staff were very honest - we were informed about the lack of hot water by Tyrel and were moved to a new cabin early the next morning.During the move we forgot the camera which the housekeeper handed in and she checked to ensure it was returned to us. The food was of a good quality and enjoyed the cocktails!
The Wi-Fi unfortunately was not great but not a major issue as able to enjoy the surroundings

The breakfast was good. The room was cozy and in good condition. The ambience is nice.
The escort to the room basically opened the door and left us. We had to figure out where the switches were etc. Not difficult to do but it would have been nice to have had a welcome that felt like a welcome. The mosquitoes and bugs were vicious. Leaving the light on during the night was a bad idea. The walk-way along the cabins could be wider. It’s so narrow that it forces a single file stroll. Dinner wasn’t spectacular.

I like everything else. The food is amazing, the bed is comfortable and the views are excellent.
The only thing required is to ensure the bugs, spider webs and gone. A deeper clean is needed other than that the place is excellent.
4.5
Room. Breakfast and the escort to the beach and back
Cost for dinner.

The service from the kitchen staff and their food was excellent. Special shoutout to Kim and Tamara who were so pleasant and really looked after us. They also cooked us a most delicious dinner even though we ordered a bit late.
The only issue we really had was that the WiFi to our room wasn't working. Yes at Acajou you are unplugging a bit but there were times we urgently needed a WiFi connection and had to leave our room to get it.

The environment was peaceful
The shower can have better drainage
